Love the place - I just wish the place was open so we can eat in the dining room.

it is a nice, but there are a lot of cliques and a lot of gossip that hurts people. We have bingo 3 days a week, they had card games, but if you're not part of one of the cliques-they bluntly tell you they don't want you. There can be inconsistency on what can and can't be done. I think it is finally get resolved, it has taken time to get it figured out.

I would give it a ten if we had central air. These units that we have in our apartments are so noisy, It just doesn't "fit" in apartments like these. The staff and their helpers have done a remarkable job for these 3 months. A big "Thank you" to everyone.

It's a great community that is doing the right thing during the pandemic, although it is getting tiresome. Too long!

I'm here 6 years and am very satisfied. It's a super nice place.

It is a good value for your money. My dad enjoys the food. The room sizes are adequate. My dad is 97 and uses the stationary bikes in the exercise room daily. They are very attentive to the residents. They make sure they get water and snacks.

They seem like they are trying to keep the community clean, although the carpeting does seem like it needs to be changed out. They offer activities for the residents to participate in. We do think American House Bluewater Bay is over priced.

I like the size of the rooms and how it felt so homey. The administrator was very helpful and friendly. My dad did not like the food portions. They have rocking chairs out in front in the way of outdoor space. All the ala cart services added up. My dad was only there for a short time.

My mother needed to be in a locked unit because of midnight wandering. They have treated her well here, keep her busy and she calls me at least 3 times a week and often it is facetime. I am more comfortable because I know she is being taken care of.

Very impressed with the calendar of events offered to residents.

I was greeted warmly. facility was clean for the most part fresh. did not meet or see any of the nursing staff.

It was nice enough, thouh the hallways by the rooms feel narrow and seem dark. It is an older facility. The only room they had available (they leased the other while we were waiting for our appointment) has a doorwall onto a courtyard which also shares a wall with the dining room - so if Mum wanted to have it open it could be loud at times. We spoke with the nurse for the Medical Team and it sounds like they work with families to try to provide the full aging in place experience.

It was a nice place but a lot of the areas appeared to be drab. The staff did interact with the residents and were friendly. The residents seemed happy as I talked to one. Just not the place for my mom.

[Name removed] was well prepared and answered all my questions. It’s a nice facility. The rooms are ample. They seemed dark, though. The floor in memory care was sticky, but that was probably just this day. There was a smell of feces close to the room we toured. I understand that someone probably had an accident shortly before we arrived. We spoke with the daughter of a resident who said she was happy with the facility, especially because she felt her mom would not be mistreated.

Too expensive by at least $300 with 1 BR starting at $1900+; 1 1/2 year wait; beautiful complex that mom would be happy in; offered no guidance for fiancial assistance.

This was a very nice facility. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice location and nice facility. I was there right after lunch and barely saw anyone out and about, which was disappointing. I hoped to see people out of their rooms doing something. The focus of the tour was more open rooms than the actual services and activities that would be provided. Our main reason for moving mom is to increase her quality of life and get her doing more, and my tour did not give me that feeling moving her here would accomplish that.

The staff are wonderful caring people. The facility is stylish, and well maintained. There are always fun activities offered to the residents. Improvement would be best in the area of food preparation and serving.
