Brookdale

We are so grateful every day for Brookdale Ormond West. My father is being cared for by people who genuinely love their jobs! The building is a well oiled machine & EVERYONE that you make contact with is smiling, kind & patient. Thank you to everyone at every level of interaction for treating the residents with dignity and respect. Highly recommend!

My mother in law has been happy at Brookdale. They have lots of activities, something for everyone. She is getting her meals and meds on time, and the staff seem to really care. The center courtyard is lovely.

Our overall experience with Brookdale Garden Grove has been excellent. The staff are attentive and caring. Good food, staff and residents are friendly. Only downside might be lack of a van driver or events coordinator. I’d love to see more coordinated access to resources for residents such as dog grooming, mani/pedi, trips out and about whether shopping or entertainment. There are a few resident driven events. Most residents have their ‘place’ for meals - makes it a bit harder for newcomers to find their ‘place’ but no one is unfriendly-it’s a fun group and again, staff is so professional and caring.

My mother has only been in the facility about 2 months but so far it has been an amazing experience for her as well as for me all of the amenities at the facility offers the pricing the staff the doctors even the food was all been really really great I can't say enough about the place

My mother in law loves everything about Brookdale...the food, staff,events, & facility are all the best. We couldn't get her to move if we wanted to. Absolutely would recommend it friends & others. We are very pleased with the facility & my mother in law loves it!

My Grandmother has been at College Square for over 6 months now and we have been very impressed. She lived at 2 other communities previously, and for various reasons neither was a good fit. The staff here are incredible. Most of their caregivers have been there for over 8 years or more. They keep my Grandmother safe, clean and happy and take the time to know her likes and dislikes and really help when she is having a bad day. Highly recommend.

Very attentive caring staff as well as some of the Ladies that live there to encourage people to join in on activities etc..My Uncle adjusted well there and has made friends.

I would say they do a great job of communicating with family and are very in tune with the medical needs of their patients. They've been very accommodating and attentive to my MIL.

Staff is very attentive and helpful. The facility is clean and did not have any type of smell to it. It is an amazing place!

Brookdale Southfield is a clean, comfortable, facility. Staff are very caring towards the residents. I would recommend this facility to those looking for retirement living.

My beautiful (92 years of old) mom’s health began failing very quickly (Alzheimer’s and congestive heart failure) forcing my siblings and me to find living arrangements with outstanding professional care. This was incredibly difficult for me because I had promised my mom, I would never put her in a “nursing” home, but we wanted to keep her and my stepdad together. So, we began the search for assisted living facilities in the area. Based off my limited knowledge of assisted living vs nursing homes and all the negative media of nursing homes, I was skeptical to say the least. I wish I had the space to list each staff member by name and what I appreciate about them. The love they have for the residents is evident with every interaction. I was talking with one of them after my mom’s passing expressing the appreciation I had for every staff member and what they did for my mom. She chuckled and said, “We aren’t perfect”. I suppose that is true, but they were perfect for my mom.

What our family likes the most about Brookdale Park Place is that the residents are very friendly and so is the staff. The food is excellent. The front yard and natural areas are well kept and are nice to spend time sitting outside.

Brookdale Paulin has been incredible for my Mom!! She loves it! She has no complaints really nor do we. Everyone has been incredible during this whole process. She is very happy which makes me happy! We would absolutely recommend this community to other families!! Getting my mom into a place that felt safe for all of us after we lost my dad in a tragic accident in September was very important to all six of us kids so Brookdale Paulin Creek made that happen for us and we are very happy with my mom being there, so thank you!!

We highly recommend Brookdale Madison West. My Aunt is living in the very best community she can possibly be. She is safe, comfortable and well cared for.

Meals and dining we have a 4 but my understanding is it's better than most. My goals for my father were for him to maintain as much autonomy and dignity as possible as he navigated his illness. I've never dealt with another facility personally for that length of time but I feel like his dignity was important to them too and that they upheld that as much as possible. And his illness made that challenging.

All the above are 5 Brookdale was a great facility. We knew she was being taken care of and based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

Mom is being well cared for from hygiene to chef prepared meals. All of her medical needs are closely monitored, and the staff keeps the family well informed of her situation and progress. We visit often and at different times so they know we are involved. This sounds like an ad, but our experience with Brookdale Niagara has been excellent.

We've enjoyed visiting and getting to know everyone. We are please with the help and others living seem pleased as well! Best of all Memaw seems content.Thankyou for making this a great experience for us and our Memaw.

We just think Heritage Plaza is the best, the staff are great and so are the residents. We are so glad we decided to move in. My husband and I have never felt so welcomed, by so many people. We would recommend Heritage Plaza to anyone looking for a warm caring home.
