Brookdale

The staff was very professional, compassionate, and caring to us and especially mom. They went above and beyond our expectations. The facility was beautiful and clean. Mom at times required some extra attention and the entire staff took care of her needs. I highly recommend Brookdale OP.

I was impressed with the experience and longevity of the staff at facility. They totally understand memory care and what the residents needs are. All staff were very friendly and helpful in transitioning my sister to the facility.

The staff are all amazing, we had some billing issues in the beginning but they corrected them once I pointed it out. The facility is very clean as well.

My mom is very happy there. The staff has all been really great. There was a period of high turnaround, especially in the kitchen, but I think they've got that all figured out now and the bus is very accommodating for my mom's physical therapy and doctors appointments and my mom really enjoys the church service that they offer. I would recommend it to other families who are looking for a good place for their parent or parents.

Staff are all extremely caring and welcoming from the start. There was bed, dresser and wardrobe. We didn't bring any furniture, just family photos. They provided TV. Assistance provided for all needs.

I will tell you this, the first time my husband walked in he said, " WOW, it feels like home." The staff was readily available through the entire move in process. From paperwork on.

Brookdale was first of three referrals and you mentioned you favored it and requested we visit first. In doing so, it was such a delight to find that we no longer pursued the other two. [name removed], saleswoman for facility, went out of her way to find a way for us to live here, without assisted living and we signed the papers next day. So smooth it was as if it were meant to be. Great! Professional, courteous, very knowledgeable with desire to help.

I have lived here since 2021. I have made many friends and have a lot of memories. I encourage everyone to come and visit. We have great activities too! The food is also fantastic so you should come try lunch or dinner. My friends can eat here for $[removed[ . Also, my best friend is [name removed] the driver.

They are very responsive to any concerns. It is a warm place. Better than some I have visited. My dad is as happy as he can be for a place that is not his home. I would recommend Brookdale of Novi to others.

5 for all. Very friendly, staff is wonderful, the residents are very comfortable and sociable, they seem to enjoy the activities. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

Everyone from [name removed] at reception to Samantha the activities director continuing to [name removed] the general Manager and all the aides, cooks, nurses are amazing! A super clean environment with something always planned for the residents. I have spent many many hours there visiting with mom and some of the residents, we have become family. I’m grateful for each and everyone one of them!

Everyone here is very helpful. Made us feel at home would recommend anyone to come and stay and live here. I was only here a short time because I was only getting stronger to go back home. My experience was wonderful. If I ever need a fulltime Place this would be it.

I’m very thankful that we were able to get an apartment for my father. The entire staff is kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They answered any questions I had. It’s always nice to see smiling faces when we go.

First of all it's the people that make Chambrel great. The residents and staff combined make this a wonderful home. We have residents that watched Chambrel bring built and residents from other areas. Together there is always something to talk about and friends are easily made. The property offers a lively relaxing setting away from the busy roads. There is a sense of peacefulness when you pull in the driveway. There is a wide diversity of activities and the programs are always involving and are resident driven. The transportation is avaliable 7 days a week and provides opportunities for involvement in the community. (Rosewell)

I would give them a 5 on everything but 6 and 7. My husband does not like the food and feels they don't try to accommodate his needs. The activities are repetitive and are mostly one size fits all. They have patients with a range of abilities that could be enhanced. It is up to the families to provide activities for their loved one. That said, overall I am satisfied with Brookdale.

The staff are great - caring and long serving. The food is outstanding. The programming is perfect for my parents. The car service is wonderful. The shuttle service is great. Everyone at Brookdale cares.

From day 1 meeting a sales agent and director, BROOKSIDE has knocked it out of the park. This is Mom’s 2nd Assisted Living and I couldn’t be more pleased. Even before Mom physically moved in, they accommodated me so that I could get her apartment set up for her arrival. That meant so much. Every special need that arose was quickly taken care of which was never the case at the prior place. 10 out of 10.

I would rate them at a 5 for all of those. It was an amazing experience there for her as well as for us. The manager and staff were exemplary before she moved in during her stay there and even after she passed! I cannot say enough nice things about her stay there!
