Highly recommend for memory care. Friendly staff that truest care. There are activities for the residents that even include family events - Easter egg hunts, Halloween, etc. Location and costs were of course a factor. Having experience with them now, I wouldn't hesitate to use them. You can't put a price on peace of mind.

Everyone is attentive to the resident. The staff actually take time to listen to the residents regarding any concerns they have. My mom chose to only tour Heatherwood. We took it as a sign from God and my late dad that she needed to move because one of the available apartments was the same as the house number she lived in for 45 years. It's been the best thing for her.

I've never seen happier residents in a senior living community before. The amount of residents who have amazing things to say about the Heatherwood community and the staff is very uplifting. I would recommend living here to anyone looking for a good quality of life in an independent living community.

Before coming to Heatherwood I lived in two other communities and they were both awful! They were always filthy and had nothing to offer to the people that lived there. Then I moved to Heatherwood and it is clean, with spectacular food, always well-maintained, and there is always someone there to help you with whatever you need. Heatherwood is there first retirement community that I have been to that is properly maintained and it has a very good support system. I couldn’t be happier and I plan on staying here for the rest of my days.

I moved into Heatherwood in August 2022. I’m still living here and I have made friends I have my dog there’s there’s a lot to do here if you like bingo if you like card games, beanbag baseball, there’s music every Wednesday they have words search puzzles to challenge your mind, there’s a lot to do they have bus rides several times a week to Fred Meyer’s Walmart even Albertson’s it’s a great place to be and I’ve enjoyed it immensely there have been times and people but not everybody gets along but most people do and I really like it here the food, good atmosphere is festive Our Director is great our activities Director goes above and beyond there’s just a lot of things to do and I would recommend it to anybody

My mother in law stays here and is turned into a bingo shark. When visiting the faciltiy its clean and very well taken care of which is important to me, seems like the manager sincerely cares about my mother in law. Good place fore sure.

I have the honor to be a resident at Heatherwood for a few years. It a safe, clean senior living community. i enjoy the numerous activities presented here and in the nearby city. Our Culinary Team is second to none. We, the residents, are encouraged and included in the planning of our diverse menu. Our cooks and servers are friendly and always above the norm. Our Staff sincerely care for our comfort and contentment. Our Housekeepers are thorough and efficient. 'That's good enough'is never an acceptable completion of any request a resident may have suggested as all departments are constantly improving processes and standards. We are always kept informed of projects or changes. We enjoy excellent transparency from the Staff and Management Company. I also immensely enjoy the ability to be included in projects and activities to assist in the success in any event or endeavor. The Staff maintains an open door policy to address a concern. EACH day I'm AT HOME AT HEATHERWOOD!

My wife and I chose Heatherwood after careful consideration of many independent living facilities. Its location, its staff, its service, the food, the menu are all 100 percent excellence. My wife’s stepfather, late 80’s came to Boise from Pennsylvania. It was mainly to be near his family and health reasons. He is a very independent guy and we’re we uncertain how he would adjust. The residents and staff at Heatherwood have become his second family and he is very very happy. My wife and I are so grateful to the folks at Heatherwood. It has made our life not only more manageable but enriched. As we know our family member is loved and cared for greatly. I highly recommend Heatherwood to anyone looking for a terrific place for their loved one to live and enjoy their later years to the fullest.

Our mother loves it here. There are always a lot of activities and outings. The meals are delicious. Staff and residence are really kind and caring. Our mom was happy to move in here and made friends quickly. We recommend Heatherwood and give it 5 stars!

The staff is always friendly and helpful! There are always plenty of activities so there is never a shortage of anything to do. I am very satisfied with my apartment. The transportation services are fantastic.

They have a super friendly and caring staff. Lots of fun activities to include games and music. Their food is very delicious and they have other choices if you don't like what is on the menu. My mom loves it there and her apartment is adorable. She has made a lot of friends and loves to go and play bingo.

She enjoys the staff, they are all very friendly & helpful. The facility is nice, bright & welcoming. She loves that they have all kinds of activities & is loving the Christmas tree in the courtyard (that she can see from her room)

I recently moved out of my apartment and moved into Heatherwood Senior Living in Boise Idaho. The staff is amazing. My apartment is cleaned once a week and the bedding and towels are cleaned by housekeeping. I don't have to do anything at all except enjoy my life. Im a widower and it sure is nice getting home cooked meals three times a day. I love my life and Heatherwood is an amazing place.

Their staff is probably the most friendly of any facility that my mother has been in. They always acknowledge her as we walk past them in the hallways. The facility is top quality and always kept exceedingly clean.

My siblings and I moved my mother moved to Heatherwood in June, 2023. I was with my Mom throughout the move-in process. From the moment we walked into the doors, we were greeted warmly and enthusiastically by staff and residents. Heatherwood's senior ambassadors (residents) introduced themselves to Mom and made her feel at home immediately. They dined with Mom, gave her a tour of facility, and introduced her to residents and staff. Six months later, the same level of hospitality and community still prevails. My mother is thriving through her participation in weekly activities that are consistently and thoughtfully organized by dedicated activity coordinators and transportation drivers. Timely and personalized communication (color coded monthly calendars, menu selection, and flyers taped to residents' doors) is a key indicator of Heatherwood's commitment to "a vibrant, energetic independent living community." Lastly, the facility is well-maintained with touches of home everywhere.

The Thanksgiving feast meal topped any our family has had. The food was delicious! The music was great - loved watching residents sing along. So appreciated the family photos!

I love it, I absolutely love it here! If I ever have any problems I ask the staff and they always do their best to accommodate my needs. It is so appreciated! I have a ball with all the activities and events provided here. The view and tables in the dining are make me feel like I'm fine-dining outside; the windows are very well kept and it's beautiful to watch the birds when eating meals with my Heatherwood friends.

When you walk into Heatherwood it's very homey, even nicer than a hotel! When you meet the staff you know they like what they do and care about the residents. Housekeepers are thorough and do a wonderful job. The community is like a family. Every day here feels like a vacation. The activities make every day fun and a learning experience. This place is home. Heatherwood is a wonderful place to live.

I have lived here for 5 and a half years, and wouldn't ever think of moving. Everyone is friendly and the staff is great. If you have a question they answer it and take care of it right away. Best place there is, I looked at other places but nothing compared to here.

I would highly recommend Heatherwood Senior Living. I lived there for a year and it was one of the best experiences of my life. It is an all inclusive lifestyle which includes maid service once a week, free laundry facilities, quiet and spacious rooms, an in house beauty salon, a shuttle bus and three meals a day that are absolutely fabulous. Don't like something on the menu? No problem. They also have an alternative menu where you can choose something that better suits your tastes. They also have 24 hour security, covered and lighted parking and arts and crafts that are fun and rewarding. The staff are friendly and professional and will help you with any problems that may arise. The Executive Director will be certain to assist you with courtesy and the highest in professional conduct and it is always delivered with a smile. The people are exceedingly friendly and engaging as well. So give Heatherwood a try.
