I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. I've had long term care insurance and they have bent over backwards to work with me. They treat the family and residents nicely. Everything is first class here. The prices per month are very reasonable. The staff are very wonderful to work with. The help is tip top. They have bingo, field trips, balloon volleyball, and more as some of the activities for the residents to choose from. The food is good for my loved one.

We had a really good tour with Cedarhurst of Blue Springs. This facility would have been our first choice because its location is great, but they did not have any availability in a timely manner. They had something change and they called to let us know they could take him, but we were already getting set up with another facility.

They have exceeded my expectations on what this type of place would offer and deliver. First of all, their timeliness and ability to make things happen when they need to happen has been great. They were diligent in making sure they could accept my loved one and were on top of all of the assessments they needed to do. He had relatively high care needs when he got there, but he has improved immensely and is much more independent. Having all of their services on hand really fit the acute, urgent situation he started out in. And as he has become more mobile and independent and has gotten to know people, he really enjoys it, which was a pleasant surprise for me. The people are so friendly. You're always greeted by every staff member, and they remember your name. They're incredibly courteous and helpful and have a can-do attitude. The few times I've ben in the dining room, the staff there are very friendly and helpful as well, which helps newcomers to fit in and feel comfortable.

I loved this community but they did not have any availability. They always followed up and told me they would reach out when something became available. They tried to make it work another way but it just did not line up.

I would recommend the community others for their loved ones. This is a good place to go. They are friendly, attentive, caring, and my loved one is in good hands. The staff are willing to immediately fulfill my requests. The food is average. They try and present it nicely. There are stretch classes, happy hour with entertainment, trivia games, movies, and more for the residents to choose from for activities. They have field trips and transportation for the residents. This was the best priced community for my loved one.

We've been very happy. The staff is really very kind and helpful. My dad's one complaint is if he goes to dinner at a certain time, it's harder to get service. So he just tries to go at a less busy time. The apartments are spacious, and his has a very nice view. They stop by regularly to check on him and take his vitals daily. And I'm very confident that he's well cared for and that somebody is there if he needs them.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The building is nice, new, and pretty. The friendliness of the staff is wonderful. Cedarhurst has transportation for trips. Coloring, trips to the park, and more are some of the activities for the residents to participate in if they choose to. There are manicures available as well.

We chose Hamilton Place because it was a smaller facility that is all on one floor so we knew that she would not get confused with stairs or elevators or anything like that. The room sizes seem to be good. So far it has been a good experience and we would recommend them.

Our loved one was only there for [date removed] for respite care, but if we had to look into this community as more of a permanent situation, it would absolutely be in the running. It is run very well, they have very good people on the cooperative side of things, the listened to all of our wants and needs. They came to the table with a care plan that was going to meet our needs and our loved ones needs and that was a reason we chose them. We felt they really listened to us and did not try to sell us on anything. They came very well prepared with physical therapy, and before our loved one more in they went to go meet her at the rehab facility. The sales gal and head nurse who gave us the initial tour were wonderful.

I would recommend this community for your loved one. They have activities like physical therapy games and more for the residents to do. They even have books for us to read. They even read aloud which is real good for some of the people. They also go out in the bus to different places in the community. They have religious services also.

They are doing absolutely wonderful, we have had no complaints.

The staff members have just been fantastic to our loved one and to our family. They are so attentive to our loved noes needs during this time of covid and during his rehab, He is also really enjoying the meals and dining service.

My brother is really enjoying the meals and dining service, and he really likes the shower set up in his apartment.

This community is just wonderful, the staff members are just outstanding and we mean the entire staff from top to bottom. We have not met anyone who wasn't willing to help out, everyone is extremely friendly. The memory care does integrate with the assisted living. The building is newer - only a few years old so everything on the inside is very nice. They have plenty of activities, they go on trips and bring in live entertainment.

I really liked Cedarhurst of Bethalto, this was actually my first choice for our loved one. The location was just a little too far for our families.

My mother is almost 94 and has mild dementia. She isn’t able to live alone any longer. She has been at Lake City Place since August 2020. She is very happy there and tells everyone that it’s a wonderful place to live. She goes to all the activities and says the food is good. They dispense her medication which another well known assisted living facility in Warsaw does not. This was very important to us as she got her meds mixed up before. I’m happy that she adjusted so quickly and is happy there. I don’t have to worry about her but just go and visit and enjoy each other.

We would not be happier with Cedarhurst of Breese. they have been a blessing all the way around. Not only do they help our father who is a resident there but also our mother who comes to visit almost every single day.

I am honored to visit a number of our patients at Emerald Place, and the staff has always been very friendly and gives the best to the residents. the staff has been very welcoming and helpful to us, and really appreciates our partnership and we appreciate them. It is a great place, and the staff and residents show that every day!

After discharge from the hospital I was a rehab resident at the Emerald Place. I had a comfortable room with a TV and a huge walk-in shower. The staff changed my room a little to suit me and kept it clean. They have a nice dining room and the meals were good. The entire staff treated me very well. At first I had problems with the VA about my meds, the Administrator and the nurses got right on it and got the situation straightened out, I was so grateful for that. If I ever need assisted living again, the Emerald Place is where I'll go.

I have a very high opinion of Emerald Place. They took care of 2 of my close relatives for many years, like they were their own family. Very attentive to resident's needs and went out of their way to please them. Beautiful surroundings and the meals were very good. When I was unable to be there everyday, I didn't worry about the care being received. The staff is exceptional, very caring.
