My mom has lived here for a few years and things have seemed to deteriorate. Quality of service has gone down dramatically. The office won't return my calls. Used to be great but I've found a better value down the road.

I'm not impressed with the place. Would not recommend this place to ANYONE! The overall experience has been very unpleasant. The staff are friendly to your face but then will stab you in the back. The quality of care services is terrible. the meals are not fancy...teenager runs the kitchen....definitely no gourmet chefs like they advertise. I do not participate in the activities, and the value for cost is too much money to pay for services received and/or ignored. Very unprofessional here.

Initial unassisted living in the Harbor, quickly turns to required assisted living at the Bridge, which then progresses to manipulation and undesired fees for specialty services. Price appears low initially, with insidious manipulated price increase at 5x over a short period of time. Leadership team similar to mean girls in grade school playground. Immature and disrespectful to residents and care givers. Do not trust anything with this organization. Employees try hard despite toxic leadership team.

My mother was there for 2 years.. I had to move her to another assisted living facility after learning that her pain medication would come up missing on an average of twice a month.. the new director and charge nurse are completely clueless and don't care about the residents.. I've seen 6/7 great caregivers leave this job because of employee bullying.. they are currently under investigation with the state.. I seriously urge anyone seeking assisted living to shop around.. in the past few months, I've seen quite a few residents move out due to the bad conditions and major rent increases..good luck in your search..

My Mom lived at Pointe Frontier for about 2 years in the assisted living unit. It started out okay, but there was a change of executive director and things went downhill quickly. She had a very bad experience and I moved her out. If you are considering this place for your loved one-good luck to you.

The company lies about serving gourmet meals and is barely serving residents any food at all. They want you to pay out of pocket for another entire meal to equal a normal adult serving since the regional director [name removed] enforced the new kitchen rules. We are being forced to order from restaurants for a decent meal since July this year. The kitchen now runs out of food before everyone is fed and this is with corporate approval! Three wonderful chefs have resigned because they refused to treat paying residents this way. I was even served a hamburger that was totally burned and unrecognizable with cheese, lettuce and onions! This company is a total farce and you do not want to live here!

I am a family member of a loved one at Garden Plaza Aurora- my mom has been living there for a very long time. The newest ED is a fine woman and leader - and I appreciate what’s she’s done for my mom. Most importantly though… assisted living is a mess and [name removed]the business office director was nothing but rude to my mom when asking about a bill.

We had a terrible experience with Garden Plaza. The management here was very rude and they hired inexperienced staff. The response time to care was slow and they did not know how to properly administer medications to residents. They ended up evicting my mom. I would not recommend them.

My 93 dad has lived here for almost 2 years independently. It is a beautiful facility. However when my Father fell last week and was hospitalized, I was told he cannot come back with 24/7 supervision. He was thrown out with no place to go and no notice. He spent 6 days as an indigent in a hospital before securing a room at an assisted living facility. The director, [name removed], offered no assistance.

If your parent or loved one does not need any support, or very minimal support, then this is the place for you....otherwise, steer clear. There are so many great places here in Omaha will to actually provide "assisted living" services, and provide care and support for your loved one without making you feel like they are a burden.

You could put your parents in a regular apartment, pay less and they'd be just as safe or safer!! Had a man entering women's apartments day and night even crawling in their bed!! When confronting management, they stuck up for the man and said that the women should have locked there doors!!! Really!!!

These guys have all care and dont want hospice in there. They want to move mom in their facility and they make more dough as they move her into more services. Do not want thisb

I reported the community. The community is the worse of the worse. It was a horrible experience for our loved one. This is the worse place we could have put my loved one. They are firing people to try to protect themselves. The communication with the family was horrible from the staff. They changed my loved one's doctor without telling the family. They didn't tell us about going to the hospital without telling the family. The only way I knew about it was from medical bills.

My father lived there. The staff did not clean his apartment it got unsightly. Staff did not clean it even after been asked to. Poor communication with management not returning calls or emails. Not many activities. Not even a TV social room. Then he got sick from poor nutrition and Dr ordering wrong meds. Not for elderly who need help. Spare them the agony.

My dad has been in this place less than a month and he has the battle wounds to show for it! That is a sad fact and unfortunately true. He has had his feeding tube cut, not torn but cut according to the ER doctor that fixed it. He has bruises on his arm as well as a finger nail mark that evidently gouged his tender, thin skin. We were told he did it himself, of course. They take no responsibility at this place. The next thing to happen to my dad was that a Tech told him to walk down the hall knowing that he has a broken hip as well as a fracture that has not healed correctly and therefore he can not put any weight on his leg. So when this Tech told him to walk, he tried to get up out of his wheelchair and walk and he fell and hit his head. Now he has a large goose egg bump on his forehead. The Tech claimed she turned away to pour out the water and took her eyes off him. Well, that really makes us feel better knowing that they forgot to watch my dad. Not! That angers me and scares me for his safety. He has overcome so much lately and I would hate to think that a place like this is making his quality of life worthless! That seems to be enough but no, my dad now has a bruised and puffed up hand from "hitting it on the bed rail" according to the nurse. My dad is 81 years old and has thin and fragile skin and the staff there seems to treat him any way but tender. We are asking God to help us get him out of this place and into a safe place. He deserves to be treated well and not like a punching bag!

It's been over a year since they started up grades. Our hallway has been paint at least 4 or five times and still not done. There's lots of flooding here and pray it's not ur parents apartment because they don't really care they'll let them sit in puddles of water because no ones here on weekends or holidays that has any authority! I would not recommend this place, to any one who loves their parents! Wish I would have done more research but it was convenient
