One of the big pluses is it's a smaller community, with about 60 apartments. That's good -all the people get to know each other. And the staff knows all the residents really well. Sometimes nosy neighbors can come into play, but that could be the case anywhere. I know my dad likes it there overall. He just doesn't want everyone to know his business. But I think they're doing a great job. The overall staff is very good. But I think they're struggling keeping people and have been short-handed, especially for dining services. But the food is fresh, and sometimes unique. You can tell it's not just canned food. They have a chef there and are always trying new things. I can see they offer quite a bit of activities. It's spendy, but it's probably appropriate for all the stuff they do. I think the value is there. If anybody were looking for a place for their father, mother, themselves, I would recommend it. No place is prefect, but I would recommend it to other people. It's a converted condominium building too, so it feels like living in a condo.

Morada Cedar Hill is a good community. The value is good here. The staff are good to work with. The food is good, and served sometimes in a strange order. The residents will sometimes receive the dessert first instead of the entrée. The community is short of staffing.

We went with Deane Hill Place because their price was very good, location for our family was convenient, and the overall inside appearance looked more like assisted living rather than a nursing home. Dad has a 700 square foot room with a bathroom and the size fits him well. The location is great. I would recommend to others looking.
