Our experience with Addington Place has been absolutely wonderful. Every person working there still greets us with a smile. They know that I am there to see my mom and her name (she is in memory care) and all workers, even those in assisted living ask about her and us. One thing we noticed immediately on our first visit is that even the residents greet you and smile. We were very worried about how she would settle in but in 2 days the staff had her comfortable and feeling “at home”. They have encouraged her to become friends with other residents, which is working out great. We just can’t say enough about how much we appreciate the way they are helping us take care of our mom. It gives us great peace of mind.

Staff provided support just like they said they would during a challenging time. They provided clarity about costs and services, and readily provided referrals to additional needed services after learning resident needs.

A beautiful place with lots of activities and friendly caring people. The apts are quite nice and accommodating for someone who needs assistance. I highly recommend Lakehouse.. safety to residents is key to all staff.

I was looking for a place to lite, when I came across the El Dorano independent living facility. I was greeted warmly, treated with great respect and had an overall awesome experience. I settled on this place because it felt like home. [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], and the rest ofstaff, are very helpful, kind overall awesome. The residents are from all walks of life, and they make you feel very welcome. When it comes down to it, this place is like home.

We picked them because, it was close to family. As far as care yes I would recommend BUT my dad got a check for [amount removed] then we were told he has to repay that back to the facility. That made no sense and it was shady. We paid it back but I don't think it was right

We have several friends that are residents there which is why we chose it. She was in "solitary confinement" for lengthy times especially on evening & night shifts. Not complaining & likely unavoidable.

I visited the community during the holidays. It was so heartwarming to see all the residents decorating the community. Some were decorating the tree, some were hanging stockings, while others were creating centerpieces for the dining tables. This time of year my mom is more lonely, living alone. We always have good intentions of visiting and spending time with her, but the hustle and bustle of the holiday season gets in the way. Seeing the residents sharing the spirit of the holidays together made my choice Easy. We are looking forward to visiting mom at the community this holiday season. If Mom can fit us in on her busy social calendar. :)

I visited there on a routine basis with my therapy dog. I saw in inner workings of the facility, not watered down tour workings. I already have recommended to others. If I thought it was good enough for my mom then it is good enough for anyone.

I would recommend to others. I picked them because of the location and services.

My dad mentions to me several times a month how happy he is there. One of the best decisions I've made in my life. He has been flourishing so much after being the primary health care provider to my late stepmother.

Our parents were looking for an independent living place and when we met Autumn we knew that they were going to be happy and loved here! From the moment we met, [name removed] made us, and them, feel at home. Even after they moved in, she continued to reach out and check on them. Everyone here, from staff to residents, have been welcoming and helpful. We are so happy to have found Dogwood Estates.

My father was a resident of Quintessence before his recent passing, and everything about the community exceeded our expectations. [name removed] was incredibly helpful and thorough during the move in process. She really helped make the transition not only easier for my dad, but for my family as well. [name removed] and the care team are exceptional. My father was always well cared for, and he always commented on how kind the caregivers were. I highly recommend Morada Quintessence Assisted Living.

It felt very homey. Everyone was friendly. Dad and I were invited to have lunch there. Everything is on one floor. Always care givers around. Other places were nice but felt like I was in a hotel. He would have been on the 2nd floor with the dining room on the first floor. I saw very few people around.

I am 90 years old, and I credit Brookdale for living longer. My story starts before I moved to Brookdale, I was hired be the chorus director. My husband and I loved it so much we made Brookdale our home. I have been the chorus director for the past 11 years. I stay active with all the wonderful programs and activities Brookdale provides which I love. I have made great friends because of our common interests, and I am very happy at Brookdale!

I would recommend. They are caring and mindful of the residents needs and security. We picked them because of the size, location, reviews and affordability.

Brookdale has been my home for 15 years and the people here are my family. I not only participate in the activities here, but I have been running the Bingo program for the residents for 10 years. I love the staff, they are wonderful!

I love that Brookdale has many activities to keep me busy. Some of my favorite activities are the exercise classes, live entertainment and all the different outings such as my favorite restaurants. I feel very safe at Brookdale, and they have a receptionist here 24/7. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Brookdale Des Plaines.

I can give you a 5 for all of the above items on your list. We were pleased overall with everything. At 1 point i think the staff was a little short but the staff that was there did a great job covering all the needs. My dad has been gone 2 years now. I think the facility has changed hands so I'm not sure how accurate my answers are today.

I would recommend. Very friendly, and helpful staff. We picked them because they were close to home.

We have been very satisfied with the experience at The Haven and The Laurels in Stone Oak! The staff has been very caring and supportive. Highly recommend this facility to others.
