The community is very caring and loving. The community is open to making changes to assist your loved one, such as adding more activities and additional training for the aides. The service of the food in the memory care, could be improved. Some of the activities for memory care include walks around the community, swimming, and arts and crafts for the residents.

The outside of the building is being let go. I am not sure why but it seems like it is rundown and needs a good cleaning or painting. Inside is not updated but it seems to be kept clean. My biggest concern was the inside and the help is a lot better and they are more kind. They are short of staff and we are waiting to see a change in that. They keep the resident busy with many activities.

When looking for a place for your parents to be securely taken care of, this is the place. Within several days of moving my parents in, I met the owner of the facility, yes the owner! This was on top of the caring people who work there. Everyone wants to make sure your family members are getting the care they deserve. The nurses, caretakers, dining staff, front office, everyone has made us feel like we are at home. It is definitely a different feeling to feel you are part of a family and not just a resident. This place does this for my parents and me. I needed help with all my parents needs and very reasonable. You will not find another place like this one! I have search personally all of Franklin and Spring Hill, this is one of the best place to be. They have been a blessing in our family lives and have truly reduce the stress I felt every day! I never thought I would enjoy living in an assisted living facility and I really enjoy it. There is always something to do. Everyone is friendly, I have made many new friends. You cannot make a mistake coming to live here.

Our family had a tour experience and they made us believe this was going to be the best and wonderful place for our loved one, however they then told us it was not opened yet and were going to send us to their sister community which was not corporate. We liked this community so much we even left a deposit down for an apartment when they did open.

Our family had a virtual tour with [name removed] and despite everything going on with the virus they did a great job. They were able to take us around the community virtually and we had no problems with the communication.

Very impressed with the caring staff, layout (no locked doors) and activities available. In my top 3.

We were in a panic and Our care finder set up a last minute tour which the staff arranged for me to take seamlessly…the facility is beautiful…the staff had a beautiful rapport with all the residents we passed…and by the next morning my husband and I had decided on Liana for my mother…the staff literally bent over backwards to make the admission happen that very afternoon …. It has been less than 24 hours and the ease of being a led to talk with the staff has been phenomenal…… Thank you, Brenda

Inspired Living community has a great meal and dining service, and they offer a lot of activities every single day. They have an entire monthly calendar filled out with different activities for the residents.

Before our loved one passed away, he received excellent care. This community has the friendliest people who work there, they know everyone by name. The entire staff team from top to bottom is just amazing.

We chose Inspired Living because the facility is immaculate and very clean, the staff is very friendly, and also they offer 24 hour care if you needed it. She had her own private room which was important to us. We did have to put her in memory care even though she was completely with it mentally so that was not a good mix. But they were great here and I would definitely recommend them to others who are looking.

Very welcoming environment from the moment you walk through the door. Staff are empathetic to the concerns and struggles that face an individual and their family when supportive care is now needed. The Director of Community Relations provide hope and support during the initial meeting and the admission process. Discussed the financial benefits of selecting an AL in home state versus out of state site. Answered any questions and stressed her availability for further questions even outside her work hours. Very comforting experience.

I think they take excellent care of my mom and they are always in close communication with me. She has fallen a couple of times which is why I gave the care a 4 but the caretakers called me right away each time that it happened which I really appreciate. The marketing woman [name removed] has been wonderful to be and I have met the executive director and they have been just as nice and always offer their help. I know she loves playing bingo and watching the movies, she usually participates in a lot of the activities. I do wish that they offered more activities in the memory care side as they do on the assisted living side. I would highly recommend Inspired Living to others. I feel confident she is getting the best care that she can get here.

We cannot say enough good things about Inspired Living, they were so wonderful. We would give it 6 stars all away around, the value and quality was exceptional. Our loved one was on hospice care the entire time and they were so amazing to her and our entire family. We could have visitation everyday, we could not have had a better situation for us they were a God send.

The activities are still pretty limited however we do know normally they have a bunch of things going on. This community came highly recommend to us, they made the intake process very easy and smooth, and the location has worked out great for our family.

We chose Elmcroft of Grayson Valley because they were one of the cheaper ones in the area, especially if you have a roommate. Even though it is a shared room, they have their own bedrooms and then they share a bathroom and living room. Their administrator came to our house since this was during covid and made the transition easier for us. Their caregivers have been awesome, they treat my mother like she is the only one there. They call me about anything and have been great with communication from the get go. They have a nurse on staff 24/7 which gives me peace of mind as well. The location of the facility is great, it is centrally located to a lot of different things that you might need. I could not ask for a better place for my mom and I would highly recommend them to others who are looking.

We chose The Chelsea because it had a homey feeling and was not too large. The room sizes here are a good size for what she needs my mom is in a studio apartment. She says the food is hit or miss depending on the dya. Overall the director and staff members are very nice. I would recommend to others looking.

If you've never had any experience whatsoever with Alzheimer's' or dementia, know that the things that you think are possibly occurring due to lack of involvement with the facility are actually what the resident is doing themselves. For instance, they give my loved one two options for an outfit each day. She'll choose one and then add things later in the day, or change her outfit entirely. And memory care residents have a tendency to share their belongings, so don't bring anything expensive, including jewelry or clothing. My loved one had an expensive pair of sunglasses, and now she has $5.99 pair because she probably gave hers away. For anyone having a loved one going into memory care, be outrageously patient, but know that it does get better. Honestly the first six weeks are probably the hardest thing I've done in my life. But Inspired Living tells you all of this up front. Inspired Living is an absolutely sensational environment. The people who work there are aabsolutely incredible with what they're dealing with an a day to day day basis. They're always smiling and willing to talk. I've talked with them for hours at a time about what to expect. My loved ones sate ebbs and flows - somedays she's good, and somedays she has a hard time. But they keep the residents really involved, and my loved one has made friends. They even created an advocate position for her, because she took really well to helping new residents get acquainted with the facility. At the end of the day memory care and dementia sucks. But Inspired Living is the best place for her. She's safe, she's protected, and she's fully taken care of. She loves the food there. Comparable to other memory care, it's expensive. But the residents are monitored 24/7, and its a smaller facility with only about 55 residents. It's expensive, but it's worth it. One of my dear friends happens to manage a large memory care facility, and during the interview process she told me to ask if they just give them medication to calm them down. Inspired Living does not, and that was extremely important to me. I didn't want my loved one to be pumped up with drugs to make someone else's life easier. They use discussion and redirect the patient instead, as well as other tactics instead of giving them medication. There's a surgeon in the area whose wife is at Inspired Living after being at two other memory care locations, and that speaks volumes to us about the care here as well.
