Distinctive Living

So far our experience with Inspired Living at Lakewood has been a good one. There's always room to improve, but generally it's been a very nice community.

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. Compared to some other facilities I saw in the area I wasn't overly impressed with how The Chelsea looked, it just wasn't quite as nice as some that we saw. However, the staff seemed friendly and the residents looked well cared for.

The staff at Inspired Living at Sun City is incredibly friendly. The really have bent over backwards to help us. They have met all of our needs and then some. We have been very very pleased.

Overall I think they do a good job at Elmcroft of Grayson Valley! It is a nice looking. clean facility, and the staff here all seem very friendly and helpful. I'd give them high marks across the board! One thing I think they could improve would be to have more people available for wheelchair assistance, sometimes it can take a bit before someone is available to help get my loved one to the dining room.

Things have gone well overall with Elmcroft! It's a very nice looking place, and everyone we've worked with has been very friendly! The lady who handles their sales, as well as the head nurse, are both so energetic and so good with the residents! They're always doing little things to make people smile! The head nurse had a few different costumes that she wore around Halloween, which I thought was cute. The staff have been right on top of any issues we've had, and they've been very accommodating helping Mom get settled in. When it was time for Mom to move in the bed we ordered for her hadn't arrived yet, and they were happy to lend us one to make sure everything stayed on schedule with her move-in!

I was able to take a full tour throughout the facility and everything looked great. Each room and adjoining restromm were in good condition and it appeared that all of the residents were very well cared for. All staff were friendly and extremely helpful throughout the tour. This is one of the better facilites that I've experienced in the Pinellas County area.

I think they do a good job overall at Chelsea at Tinton Falls! My loved one is not easy to handle, but the staff here are wonderful, kind and patient. A few staff members could stand to work on their professionalism, but nothing too troubling. The facility itself is nice looking, and they always keep it spotless. It is a smaller community, which works well for my loved one. They've got delicious food, the care is good, and the activities never stop. It's a very nice place, overall!

The cleanliness could definitely be improved. The staff is very friendly. The value is hard to determine, because for us this was just a respite stay. They have been pretty good with attentiveness, and responsiveness. They could use a little more entertainment, and the food is not great, definitely a three on that. I don't really have any other concerns that about covers it.

It's been very good. They are very kind and very sweet. I think the food could be a little better, but they are good at the things that count. They have plenty of activities, and they take good care of their residents.

We're very happy with how things are going at Hidden Lakes Living! It took a bit of time for my loved one to settle in, but now she is participating in activities and has met a friend to spend her time with. She is fitting in well and seems very happy! The staff have all been very friendly, professional, and patient, and they do a great job of handling any issues she has without confrontation. Really the only issue we've had is that when she moved in they told us that the residents are able to walk out into a secure outside area whenever they like, but this has not been the case so far. Apparently due to the hot weather they are restricting outside access until it cools down. They can also be a bit difficult to get in touch with, they never seem to return phone calls.

I am happy with them, the place is very nice. We started in the independent living, and I think we should have been in the assisted living. We have to have a full time aide, that is getting costly. We weren't given exactly what we needed, and there is no room in the assisted living. There was no initial assessment, because we were going into independent. I don't feel like they made it clear to me about what to expect. It's clean and they are friendly. I liked the location, they have nice scenery. If you really are independent it's very nice.

We looked at this place, and everything seemed fine, no problems with the appearance or the staff. It was a little bigger community than what we wanted for Mom, and didn't have the atmosphere we were looking for. We would have preferred a higher staff to resident ratio.

My Mom was only here briefly, unfortunately her care needs changed suddenly, but from what we saw it looked very nice. It was a nice looking community, and the staff were very friendly.

The facility itself is a 4, I can't say that my mom had a great experience there, she's 80 years old, pretty independent and we thought that it wasn't a very good fit for her because there was a lot of co mingling with the independent and assisted living. There's nothing wrong with Chelsea, it jsut was not good for her. I do know she was a little perturbed, some of this was just gossip among the residents, but they apparently had a problem with some of the staff stealing and stealing medications from the assisted living. We thought this would be a convinient location but the co mingling was very difficult for her.

I toured Chelsea. It was clean, welcoming and friendly. The staff seemed to care for the residents and interact well with each other. The rooms are large, bright and cheerful. They offer many varied activities. The menu I saw was more than enough.

Nice facility but a little too far

Nice facility. Bright surroundings, active lobby, music playing.

I like this one, but it looks like it will be too expensive for him. Check into this one! Very close to us. Check any VA benefits.

I would say don't believe everything that they promise.

It was okay. Not great, but not bad either. Just okay. They do a nice job. It started out very well. They were cooperative and attentive the first week my loved one was there. But then things kind of declined when they realized she needed more assistance than expected. And perhaps she was a bit difficult, which I imagine can be hard on caretakers. When we left, it took 3-4 weeks to get a refund since they have you have you pay in advance.
