First light has been wonderful. Good communication with office manager and caregiver dispatcher. The caregivers have been qualified and on time.

Staff is very willing to help obtain the coverage for companionship. Once the family finds someone that they work well with - they can be asked for as a permanent companion. Then, if they are available and able to cover, they are allotted to that time with that specific client.

They were GREAT, and provided the highest levels of professionalism and compassion. Thank you for referring them to our family. I would definitely recommend others

First Light has been very responsive and reliable. We've only had two caregivers the entire three months so far and the second caregiver was very good. Good connection with my mother very reliable and compassionate. The only issue was Billing and receiving the invoices on a timely basis but we're now on the same page.

All of the helpers they send out are friendly and helpful. I have only used them on an as needed basis, never a commitment to any time frame other than the required daily minimum. That is perhaps the best thing they offer. They are the only homecare facility that I could find ( I did a lot of research) that didn't require a commitment to once a week or a certain amount of hours per week. I needed to have someone stay with my husband, who is in at home hospice, when I had appointments for myself or just needed to go grocery shopping. They do have a 4 hour minimum requirement. They are the most expensive hourly that I found but for me it worked perfectly. The helpers are very attentive. I never really used them to cook or help around the house. They would give my husband a meal that I prepared or any snacks he might want. I suggest anyone who might want to use their services read the contract thoroughly. I also suggest that whoever is looking for this type of service to be very clear as to what their needs are in respect to the person getting the care. They are not nurses but I found most of them capable of giving meds, blood pressure etc.

Not really sure about services just yet. We only had services for a couple weeks and then we stopped due to circumstances. But we are looking to start services again in April. The staff [name removed] [name removed] , they're super super knowledgeable and very friendly and caring. I've been talking with the staff there on and off since August, which is when we started the services for a few weeks.

We found everyone we dealt with to be very compassionate and helpful in finding the best ways to care for my mother. I truly appreciate the great amount of time given me initially as well which afforded me answers to many questions and even gave me answers I didn't even know to seek out. The First Light staff we have interacted with is very knowledgeable, caring, and reliable.

I only paid for someone else but the care taker was outstanding according to the recipient of the services. I would absolutely recommend FirstLight Home Care of Central Orlando to those looking for home care services.

I like this company because you don't have to have a set schedule. You can get care how much or little works for you. The caregiver that we have now is very good. You are allowed to request certain people that fit best.

[name removed] from First Light has been great! She is a sweet companion for my mother a few hours per week. She also takes care of Mom’s laundry and any other needs. She is very reliable and communicates well with us. It is so nice to know we can count on Twyla to be with Mom on the specified days. [name removed] from A Place for Mom has also been terrific! She helped me immensely from the time we first spoke and has continually touched base to make sure everything is going smoothly and to see if we need any other help.

Very good Company to work with will recommend any time. Staff and care givers are ready to help anytime. Easy to adjust hours to fit the patient needs always on time or will call to let you know the arrival time.

I would recommend them. I think they did a good job. They communicate well and have some really good care givers.

5 stars across the board, we really loved them all. The staff was knowledgeable on how to care for a person with beginning dementia and the supervisors were extremely accommodating when I needed caregiver and was not scheduled. My mom needed extra help and they found someone with in an hour or so to come to the house.

FirstLight Home Care is a fantastic company providing excellent care for my wife. I'm on a first name basis with the owner who I communicate directly for any needs. The regular caregiver, [name removed], is very patient and provides excellent care.

We use home care services through FirstLight Home Care of Central Orlando for my loved one and everything about our experience so far has been great. The caregivers are responsive to our requests, everyone is friendly over the phone and they do a great job with matching a person that my loved one likes. I would give friends a positive referral of first light. They helped with hospice for my loved one. The office staff was nice and polite to work with.

The responsive, flexible and supportive. They assisted us three days a week to support our loved one with dementia. They did medication distribution, light cleaning, and light cooking.

Excellent intake and initial consultation with [name removed]. Then The agency provided a very fine aide for the 6 weeks of care I needed.

My parents LOVE their caregivers! After much convincing, they finally permitted my brothers and I to get them some additional assistance. While they were hesitant at first, thanks to FirstLight, it worked out beautifully! My parents actually look forward to when their caregivers come to assist. We highly recommend this company.
