It is a clean community, and the apartment seems to be pretty clean. the people are pretty friendly and nice. My loved one has no complaints about the food. There was only one, issue with no one being at the front desk, and I waited a long time to get buzzed in. That is not there fault, it could have to do morse with staffing issues but it would be nice if they could answer the door quicker. Overall, the place is clean, newer than other places, and the staff is really nice. I would recommend.

The staff members have been nothing but friendly to us and the location of the community is really convenient for us. They do a really good job with the activities and from our understanding the meals are good. Based on our experience with Independence Village of Greenwood we would recommend them to other families .

This was a nice community. It was too far from family and too big for our loved one.

Good community it is on a busy street though. They only had a studio available and we wanted something larger for my loved one.

We're very happy with Independence Village. It has been a great fit for my brother's needs and lifestyle. He is adjusting well and is very comfortable. I think he feels at home there, which is wonderful. The staff are very patient and caring. There are a lot of activities, and the staff are great about inviting him to join, yet they allow him to decline if he doesn't' want to participate. They respect his decisions and allow him to live his life the way he wants to. I also like that the cost is pretty reasonable.

Mom has lived here over 2 1/2 years. She could no longer be left alone but did not go happily. Current staff are very good and kind. (loved receptionist!) Biggest complaint continues to be bad meals. Most all meals are not to her liking. Burnt toast, hard meat, and vegetables in general.

The staff makes this place. They are kind and compassionate, professional and attentive. Meals are good, but love when they do special treats! Covid has made it challenging for activities, but I’m hoping things will kick up soon. I feel like my parents are in very good hands!

It's a peaceful community. From the staff to the food. It feels like home.

This community was my second choice and it it was closer to me I would have taken her there. It was very comparable with another community that we were considering. It was just with family and visitations I just needed it to be closer.

Our family had an in person tour and this would of been one of our top choices but our loved one did not meet their criteria.

I liked this community but the thing that made the final decision was the fact that my loved one needed a community that would take medicaid if necessary. This would not have been an option here. The tour was good and they gave me all the information that I needed we just needed more financial options.

We have experienced very good things here. I have already recommended it to my family and neighbors. We've had a few little issues with medications. But other than that, the care has been good. My mom loves the food. We have not seen her this happy in a long time. We're really surprised how well she's taken to it. She loves it there. They have a lot of awesome activities. And I think it's a good value.

I'm happy here and pleased with my experience overall. I like that they do my laundry for me and clean my room. When I first moved here, I was prepared to bring all of my medications, but they required that medications be ordered through their pharmacy. And it has been a big frustration. They ordered unnecessarily things, some of the order was wrong, etc.

It's a very friendly place. They are very respectful to the residents. And they show true concern and care for them The facility is good. They clean the apartments every week. My loved one likes the food for the most part, although he's not picky. Sometimes it can be tough / hard to eat, which I think they need to consider for the elderly. But I would highly recommend Brookstone.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour was very informational

We chose Reflections because they had the size of the apartment that she was wanting, she was wanting a 2 bedroom and the price was better. The food is the biggest drawback from what I hear. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

The tour was good, but mom thought the facility was too big and had too many floors.
