The man gave me a tour here and I just knew it was a perfect fit for my mom. He showed me all around its brand new and beautiful. Clean as a whistle. Mom is 93 and has become a whole new person here. She is meeting friends she gets up and around and don't just stay in her room. They have lots of daily activities she can enjoy. The food is good and mom can be fussy at times about her food. She is in the memory unit and it is a locked unit but they can go out into the lovely area outside to sit in the sun with a staff member. I would 100% recommend this beautiful place The decor is gorgeous and flowers are out.

I am happy with this community and the staff are very nice. The food is good and they offer a lot of nice activities. This is a brand new community and the rooms are beautiful. There is a nice patio area and the community is nicely furnished. I would highly recommend this community.

Everything is working out very well with my mothers move to this community. She is doing great, and I know she is in good hands. They have a very good staff. They are attentive towards my mother, and her needs. They are always there when we need them. They provide nice meals for the residents. She has gotten involved in some of the activities they offer, which is good for her. The community is nice, and clean when I visit. This community is working out well for my family, and I would recommend it.

We're completely satisfied with all the services provided by Harbor Chase. The staff is friendly and helpful, the place is clean and well kept and the food is great. We particularly like the Director, Veronica, who is very involved and easily accessible.

This community is very nice. The staff is outstanding and very helpful with mom. The activities are available for her. The food is very good. I would recommend this for others.

My mom has been there for 5 weeks now and is adjusting well in the memory care area- the staff have been caring and concerned and very willing to listen and act on my initial concerns before she moved in and in meeting with me to learn more about the types of things she enjoyed in the past and how to serve her better and provided me with good observations and feedback. I feel fortunate to have found this facility and it happens to be within a few minutes of my job- unexpected bonus! As a nurse practitioner, I was probably more critical in evaluating options than others may be able to be and I've been pleased- so far, really , really happy with this facility, their administrative and caregiver staff, and philosophy

I work as a volunteer in the gift shop. It is a pleasure to come in every day, the staff are wonderful. The atmosphere is also very upbeat, clean, and respectful. I am happy to come to help Harbor Chase daily.

They are doing a good job. We don't have any complaints so far. The rooms aren't that big, and there isn't a dedicated area that's big enough for physical therapy. So far that's the only thing that would really make it better. The people are friendly, and it's pretty clean, I haven't gotten any complaints about the food.

They have addressed every issue we have brought up to them, they have it addressed quickly, wonderfully, they have been accomodating. We are very impressed with the place, we really are. My reservations are just that the guy who normally does the activities has been there because he does something else but I would like for them to be a little more engaging. It's a really big place, it's clean, the people are all so very nice. I would recommend it highly to anybody in the same situation. I wish the price was less, but we've been really happy with them, they even contacted me to let me know they were worried about my mom who isn't even a resident there but visits 3 to 4 times a week. They answer my emails right away, the only thing is that it's so large and the two wings look exactly the same so my dad has a hard time finding his door. My sister and I were laughing saying we should put a bow on it so he can find it or they should paint one of the wings so they look different. But it's a very nice place, they have msuic and my dad gets up and dances and the foods good.

Overall nice place. Food has been an issue with residents. Staff is wonderful!! Parents are happy there. I would recommend HarborChase to others.

I ended up having to hire an outside service as my friend's needs were greater than expected. The staff bickered so much with my sitter service and caused me more stress that I moved her to another facility. If you don't need much "assisted" living, the facility is really good.

Food is good. Mom really liked that she could order different food from the always available menu if she didn't like the what was being served. Activities were ok. Some were just watching the TV-like exercise. More variety would be good. Staff were good when she was able to take care of herself.

The activities are all wonderful. They have music with actual musicians once or twice a week. They have sing alongs, bingo, other board games, dominoes, pool, along with outings to many different places. At least once a week there are outings to either target or Walmart and other grocery stores. They have movies every night at 5:30. There is a painting project or class once a week. They have all kinds of Physical fitness activities, which include Tai Chi and chair aerobics along with yoga and every morning there is a group that walks around the building. The friendliness of the workers is absolutely amazing. There could not be a better CNA or Nursing staff. They are beyond kind and attentive. The dining staff is very friendly and aims to please. The food is 50/50. Sometimes it's very good and other times not very good at all. Ice cream is served in lieu of an actual dessert after most dinners and always after lunch. As far as cleanliness goes, the apartments are cleaned once a week. They clean the overall large areas but do not clean smaller areas such as dusting. The beds are not necessarily made every day. However the overall feeling and look of the place is very positive and clean looking and always smells wonderful. Overall there are many positive things to say about Harbor Chase. I am very happy with the decision of choosing them. Everybody that lives there seems very happy and well cared for.

We chose this facility because of the proximity to my house and the fact that it is strictly a memory care facility. The place needs some work. I've seen many things in need a repair that seem to be not being taken care of.

There was a lot of turn over with management but it seems more stable now. They post daily in Facebook what is going on with activities and I love to be able to see my mom there. They had a bad outbreak with the flu and scabbies, but the communication was good on status and the precautions they were taking. Cleanliness is where I could see improvements. Some of the public spaces could use some work. I should also add that we have hired a companion to come in 5 days/week for 4 hours/day to help her get around since she is wheelchair bound. That has made us feel much more comfortable having those additional eyes on her.

.Administrative staff - 3/4 (some great; exec director, not so much).There was a true sense of community. My dad made friends easily and enjoyed good relationships with staff members.

Staff helped my father settle in and feel at home. Most of the staff are lovely. Some are better than others in helping him deal with his frustration at not being able to do things on his own now that he is feeling stronger. The only thing that I would add is that the 1x administration fees are high and weren't fully disclosed in the initial call.

Overall we were happy under the circumstances. Everything was always very clean. Most of the staff was friendly when engaged. If you didn't try to speak with them, you were basically ignored. My mother-in-law could be difficult but she was always taken care of very well. They were always very friendly and went out of their way to help when needed. She wasn't eating when she was there. They had many activities for the residents including the memory care residents. The best out of all the facilities we visited. They were supposed to reimburse us for some overages but never did.

There has been some administrative changes and we are trying to be patient and give things time to catch up. Most importantly is my dad seems to be very happy and as long as he is content we just keep a check on him and let some things play out.

We utilized the services of HarborChase of Coral Springs for respite care for my mom while the rest of mom’s caregivers took a European vacation. She was very comfortable and enjoyed the staff. She highly complimented the food and ate all her meals in the dining room. She had mostly good interactions with the other residents but mom is not a social butterfly and didn’t take advantage of the many activities as we hoped she would. Overall it was a good experience for her and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for either respite or full time care.
