The Harmony Collection facility itself is very lovely, I am very pleased with my apartment and whole whole building actually. Everything here is top notch, the community is well taken care of, I have no problems at all. The staff is wonderful and the residents are very friendly. It is easy to get along with people here and easy to make friends. The community is having some staffing issues though, but they are definitely trying their best to rectify the situation. We now have new leadership starting in the kitchen very soon, and we have a new activities director who is starting to have daily exercise classes.

I was just really disappointed. When I brought my loved one there, I had the impression that she was going to have 24/7 care. And then they told me I needed to hire someone to be there for her 24/7 when she was there, so that was a real shock At this point in time, they are resident heavy. They do not have enough staff to take care of the residents. When you look at just the exterior, the common areas, the hallways, those are all just spotless. When it came to the residents' rooms, my loved one's room was atrocious. I would say it's a 1 out of 5. We're actually planning on moving her.

We did look into having our loved one on the memory care side due to their health, but unfortunately it just seemed like the residents sat in their chairs all day long and did not have much interaction. However, their menus look very enticing, the food looks very appetizing and tasty. They have taken the residents to home good stores, and they also have a picnic set up for Memorial Day weekend. They also have exercises classes and we do think the value is reasonable.

The administration is friendly, but the communication needs improvement as far as reporting to family status of medication weekly, any changes in medications, any medical appointments, etc. Plus improved communication is needed with response to emails. There is really good care with some things and some things need some improvement. The food is good but he needs access to hot coffee more quickly at the dining hall and I would suggest a beverage refreshment station that is available during the day and evening for residents. Possibly closer to the nurses station on each floor. I would tell others to ask for a room that is close to the elevators and activities because even if they did a lot of walking before, it gets to be a drag walking to the dining hall 3 times a day every day.

From our understanding the food is just okay, but we do know they are trying to bring the activities back and they are very age appropriate. The communication could be an improvement as far as calling and getting the messages to the proper person involved.

The food there is horrible, but the activities are slowly starting to come back. Our loved one is a fall risk and they do not call us when our loved one falls, or if they do it is way later. They have good intentions just like other places and do have some amazing staff, but to us they seem to be stretched thin and just not enough staff.

The memory unit is not prepared for memory care patients. They are not trained on how to deal with them or look for what the issue is. The communication between the staff and the community could have been better. I would not recommend this community to others.

The direct caretakers were good. There has been high turnover within the administrative team, such as the executive director and nursing director. The two new members of this team I think are very good. This is a newer community, and I think they still finding their way. Due to the pandemic it makes it a little harder.

The food is absolutely. horrible and most of the residents don't eat the food. They are short staffed trying to get laundry or your room clean won't always happen on time. Mainly they are understaffed.

Make sure you follow up on any requests to the nursing staff, and to make sure they are done in a timely manner. I would also suggest you maintain constant contact and listen to any complaints your loved one had. I feel the community uses more aids than actual registered nurses. The nursing staff is available for a limited time mostly during the day. The concerns have to be relayed to the nursing staff through the aids. I wish the nurses could answer questions immediately than waiting for a follow up. The community did change the dietary management, and my loved one said the food tastes went down. Some of the changes were made by the residents care committee. The room that my loved was in was a studio room with kitchen.

I had a great experience until my loved one broke a leg twice in this community. I also feel like the cleaning has relaxed. Their care services aren't as good as they used to. The staff isn't communicating with any changes with my loved one with me. I instead have to hear about these changes from my loved one. You need to ask questions, even if you don't get answers. Stay on top of what is going on there. This is a newer community, and I sometimes go in to visit my loved one and there is a smell of urine. This shouldn't be happening. The nurses don't want to take the time to assist my loved one at that time. They come up with the statement of I have something else to do.

I would like for the director to ask for feedback. I'm disappointed. The attention to detail isn't there. There is no accountability for medication management, and for when there are sweeps (take things for cleaning materials, that the community doesn't feel like should be there). The residents aren't able to have certain items due to COVID. The medication support I believe is the lowest paid staff. Twice my loved one has been given the wrong medicine. My loved one had to stop the med tech from giving her the wrong medicine. The director doesn't respond to emails. I wouldn't recommend this community for assisted living. My loved one gets their food in styrofoam containers between 10:30 and 11 am for breakfast. The turnover at this community is crazy and this won't allow for consistency. I have to go over to the community to get any information. I have to schedule an appointment and it will take 10-14 days before I get an appointment. [name removed] is fantastic is the finance officer. If I want anything or an intervention I call [name removed]. She has heartfelt concern with the residents. She is the right person who should be working in a place like this.

There were some glitches, there was a n issue on washing the residents clothes. I ended up doing the laundry for my mom. The people there were very loving and worked hard. The atmosphere was wonderful and the room was nice. The food was from the small kitchen and a lot of times it was not hot, or not enough for the residents in the dementia unit. The staff on the dementia floor worked hard, and had to work when they were sick. The loved the residents and did the best they could. I tried to decorate for the seasons and even played bingo with the residents. There wasn't a good activities director or activities for the resident. The head nurse got upset about the decorations and all kinds of stuff, sugar free items for diabetics. So I had to stop doing this. My mom was in the community for 10 months before moving to another community. At that point, she was getting worse, and had even gone to the hospital, and moved her to a nursing home.

The room size and cleanliness stood out the most. Had bunch of activity stations. Biggest concern was after we signed up, we were given fees we never went over, and kept raising the price. But the food was fantastic!

Harmony at Falls run was an assisted living and Memory Care Facility. Very nice, and a newer facility than Arbor Terrace. The memory care area was nice but I didn't get that warm comfortable feeling and I don't think it would have been a good match for my mother.

1st senior living facility visited. Memory care on the second level. As you enter the room there is a hall with closet on one side and bathroom on the other. One positive aspect is that they have a visiting doctor come M, Tue, Wed & Fri.

The place is nice, but I wasn’t impressed by the staff or how confused everyone was about my arrival when someone had just confirmed 10 minutes prior. They also treat you like a car lot so I wasn’t a fan of that either.

not impressed with the fact that they charge for everything above the basic room rental and care.

Be aware they run out of hot water at least once a week and maintenance cannot fix.
