I really do like the care that my father has been getting here. The community is very clean. They offer good meals and a good variety. My father is offered activities to participate with other. Its nice to have him socialized with others. I would recommend this community to other families. looking for great care.

Been here for two weeks and so far everything has been very nice.

Finding dad a good retirement home, one best suited for him and comparable to the life style he was accustom to living in his condo was a challenging task but extremely important for my sister's and I. We wanted the best possible home for dad. My sister's and I visited and researched several in our local area. Some very lovely homes however not affordable for him being that he was self employed much of his life so living without a employment pension. We were quite frustrated when I came upon the web site for "A home for mom" this proved to be invaluable to us because without [Removed] help we would have never found The Court of Brooklin and quite possibly would have had to stay in his condo lonely and isolated. Now my father is adjusting well and even his health is improving in his new home. The other residents have welcomed him with open arms and the staff have been very helpful in his transition. The home is clean & well kept, the décor is very nice and quite comfortable and as my father describes...the food is great! My dads studio suite is larger than some that we had seen and with a well designed floor plan. Most of all he even has a small balcony, with a view, which was a priority for him. His most treasured place in the spring/summer was sitting on his balcony at his condo enjoying the views. Now he can continue with his favorite pass time. With our thanks for all your help, dads devoted daughters :)

I would definitely recommend this place because of the staff, they are all very kind and welcoming. When my father first moved in he was getting used to the place and the staff was always very patient and helped him with everything. The meals are provided by the community, and from what I've seen, they look very good. Housekeeping goes in once a week and helps my father with his apartment. The place has a lot of activities, my father recently started to partake in them. The other day he went on an outing to look at Christmas lights, and the time before that to a football party. It has been a great experience for him so far.

The staff are superb and because of them dad's transition into the community was successful. They go out of their way to support dad with his care needs. He likes the food and the community is well taken care of. They offer daily activities. The staff want to make sure the whole family are satisfied and I would highly recommend this community.

My mom moved to Essex House last Saturday. Manager [Removed] went over and above expectations. When TV cable connection did not work, she attempted to try several cable boxsets with no luck. Finally she came up with an antennae and allowed my mom to get some local stations and she was able to watch the Penn State game which she had been looking forward to. The Essex House is very clean and the folks are very friendly. Even though my mom was reluctant to leave her home of 57 years, she seems to be settling in just fine and her spirits are up. She loves the food and has even gone to see a Christmas singer (who also did a few Sinatra songs). We could not have hoped for a better result!!!

My dad knew when he came to Sheldon Oaks it was the one and likes that he is not alone. The staff have been nice to him. He likes the meals which include a salad or cottage cheese, choice of main dish, and a dessert. There has been no missing or lost items with housekeeping, no issues. Shante the manager was really nice and caring but she is not longer there. He likes it here.

My mom is at this community with some activities available to the residents. She is not doing well because she wants to be in my state. This is just a temporary place for her. I have someone take her out on Friday night and she looks forward to that. She gets meal at the community and it's just fine. The community is a good place. All is fine for my mom.

We really like the care here at this community. My sister has a room of her own and is nice knowing she still have her privacy. She really likes the meals and the variety. She likes having friendly people here to help her. The meals are good and she is happy with the variety. We wish this community could offer a sliding scale for the cost of the care here. We are realy wanting to have my sister here for the care, It is costly and we feel it is worth the cost, but a struggle on us. We highly recommend the care here.

This is my favorite facility for Independent Living. Very nice location and amenities.

I'am very pleased with my move to this community. Everything has worked out very well, and I'am happy here. The staff is great, they are very kind and courteous. They do a good job with the cleanliness of the community, the facility and everything is very well-kept. I'am comfortable with this community. It is a good safe place, and I would recommend it.

We are at this community for respite and it's going fine. It is clean and well maintained. It's a lovely facility and there is enough space to move around and get through. All the food is terrific and we had 2 to 4 options to pick our meals. We did not really get involved with the activities they had. We had looked at this community before as a potential retirement living and with our experience we would come back.

I am very happy with the care here for my mom. The staff are very nice and helpful to her. This community is very clean and taken care of. The food is really good and she enjoys the variety of differnt options.She loves playing cards a few times a week with others in the community. I would recommend this community for the great value and care to others.

The Hartland Hills is a wonderful community. The place is always kept very clean. The maintenance is quick to fix any issues, the other day we accidently set off the alarm and they were in my room in minutes. The community offers a mixture of activities that I hope to try soon. The room that I am in is comfortable, with new carpet and paint. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good place to move into.

My mother has really been having a positive experience at this community. I have had a chance to sit in on a few meals with her and they are absolutely delicious with lots of healthy choices. She has really enjoyed participating in many of the activities they offer as well as enjoying the company of the other residents. I like the many different amenities they offer to there patients including the fresh snacks throughout the day. It really has been a pleasure working with the staff at this facility they have been delightful.

I am happy with the care that my mom is getting here. The staff are very helpful and caring with her needs. The activities are really really great. I have had alot of experience in taking care of my mom and I know others that have been happy here and in great care. The food seems to be good and she is enjoying the menu. I think other families would like the care and the value from the nice community.

I don't do reviews because most of them are from third parties, they usually have non relevant questions, and the review is misinterpreted. I like Hidden Lakes best out of all that I investigated and visited.

The thing I was most impressed with at this community is the amazing apartment that came available for my parents. The apartment is a two bedroom two bath open floor plan with lots of windows to allow lots of natural light throughout the bedrooms. There is a full kitchen as well as a washer and dryer as well. I am also very pleased with the company Holiday, they are the ones who run this facility and have really made sure that my parents are satisfied and accommodate any suggestions I have for them.
