Sounds good - brand new.

Staff are extremely friendly. Communication has been lacking. My Dad moved floors where there was better supervision (not memory care). There was no communication about the significant price increase from floor to floor despite having an apartment with the same setup/same view. Took two months to get pictures hung or to address TV/phone line issues. There is more but that should be enough of an example to get an idea. There have been a few issues with nursing. The director of nursing is terrific. My Dad developed lower leg swelling/significant edema. I was away because of illness. When I went to see him, I noticed right away and had to take him to the ER. No one noticed. Some of the nurses are wonderful. Some, not at the same level. One medication mishap. That being said, my Dad loves it there which makes us happy.

I toured Westbridge Assisted Living & Memory care, and they seemed to be in a transitional stage. They were striving, but I got the feeling that they weren't quite setup how they wanted to be. A lot of things were changing there and I didn't feel comfortable having my loved one there.

I toured Monticello West and it was very nice. The community was older and darker. For me, it's all about natural lighting and how bright and pretty it looks, as it makes them feel at home. Monticello was a little too dark for me and it had a weird porch with the rooms that felt a little institutional-like. It had concrete wall that came up about 5 feet. I chose another community because of it's aesthetic.

There is not enough staffing to care for the residents properly here.

Had a decent tour, but chose place that was more affordable and closer to family.

Dining room was closed due to renovations. The meals get delivered and the meals don't come as what my loved one ordered. She likes the church service and bingo activities. Look at other locations. This would be one of several to check out. All the charges were not revealed in the beginning. They add charges for everything. They came short on promises they made.

We had a good tour with The Village. It seems like a very well maintained facility, but the social atmosphere was not the right fit for my loved one.

It is not a bad facility by any means, it was just not the right fit for my mom. Everyone is different and she just needed to find a facility that she felt most comfortable in and that was just not Burcham Hills for us.

It is a nice place. Food could improve. Communication is not as goods as it should be. They changed the meals plan without telling residents. The Executive director is not that good. The staff under the Executive director is good but there is a real lack of communication needed to run the community smoothly.

Thank you all for your assistance and being paired with a good roommate even considering the O2 concentrator which drives me nuts - good bathroom facility - bed really iffy.

My mom has been in Memory Care for 18 months. Her apartment is very nice, plenty of room for furniture, 2 closets, just enough space for her to feel at home. She is happy spending quiet time in her apartment or joining others in the common spaces. There have been many updates to the space to make it dementia friendly and comfortable. The garden is beautiful and provides us with a safe outdoor space to move around in. The consistency in staff over the past 6 months or so has been so important to her care. We have been pleased with the attention from staff as her need for care has increased. They are a caring, thoughtful group who are aware of her emotions and needs. The dedicated kitchen staff help to make mealtime a good experience. We feel like many positive things have been happening at Gable Pines.

We moved from California. Everyone was warm and welcoming. Food is excellent and facility is clean.

I toured here, and I liked it. However, the facility is really, really huge. It's very nice, and the staff was very welcoming, but it's so big, I worried my mother would get list there, so we shoes another community.

I had recently taken a tour of this community and I have no complaints of how things had went. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had for them in detail. I liked that they had an open floor plan and it was easy to navigate through. The facility is a newer one so a lot of things are just not finished yet.

I had a nice tour of this community the staff answered my questions and did great on showing me around. I felt that the rooms were a bit small and I was not sure that it would be a good fit for my mom.

Nice place to live for old people. More opportunities for helping with caring for others would be good. Food pantries, Christian thrift store and charity organizations should be made available for service of those who can and want to help.
