Merrill Gardens

My Father-in-law moved into Fig Garden last month following a serious illness. Everyone was SO welcoming and went out of their way to make him feel like it was his home. He is already making friends and participating in activities. He told me today that he couldn't have lunch with me because he didn't want to miss lunch with his 'group'! A special shout-out to all of the managers, Mary from Housekeeping and all of the Golden Care girls (especially Ada and Brenda) for making him feel like family!

Beautiful plans not ready soon enough

It's only been 2 weeks but I am really pleased with the staff and they know who you are when you walk in and are available if you need them. The staff is very personable and cater to your needs. I like the idea of paying for the care based on that persons needs, that way you aren't over or under paying. Thank you

As a professional working with people with chronic health conditions, I am often explaining the value assisted living provides. Medication mismanagement, falls at home and isolation are the reasons these services exist. I have referred people to Sheldon Park because I know the management staff continually works to provide appropriate & innovative services. They are friendly and really care about their residents.

Things are going pretty well since my mother moved to The Pines. It has been a hard adjustment for her. It's hard for her to communicate with other residents due to their level of dementia or memory loss. So it has been a hard transition. It's a unique group of people there. The food is good, she says it could stand some help, but that is her taste. It's not what she wants to eat, when she wants to eat it. The community does offer a lot of activities. It's very clean and the staff is friendly, they are amazing.

My mother has been in a one bedroom apartment for 3 weeks at Merrill Gardens, Willow Glen. I am impressed by the friendliness of the staff and quality of care they are providing my mother. She is making friends and going to activities.

I have nothing but nice things to say about Mistywood. It is such a beautiful place both inside and out. Of course Dad could go without being there but it is definitely the right community for his needs at the time. He is not completely happy with the dining experience but other than that it really is an awesome place and the food is good. The staff have been completely receptive and warm. Anytime we've gone whether it's during the day or in the evening the place is in tip top condition.

Mom is doing very well at Merrill Gardens. Since moving in she's made quite a few friends and the food there is fantastic! The staff have been great and I'm hoping that with time Mom will start to participate in the many activities they have for the residents!

I am a student at the U of O and I visited Sheldon Park a couple weeks ago for a class project. They were putting on a jazz concert for their residents. As soon as I entered the building I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and modern it was. I didn't feel like I was in a nursing home. I was immediately assisted by someone at the door who greeted me with a smile. Jennipher [removed] was the most helpful and answered any questions I asked her and continued to check on me throughout my time at Sheldon Park even though she was busy with the event. The residents were so pleasant and happy compared to other nursing homes I have visited in the past. I look forward to volunteering there in the future.

I have been to Sheldon park assisted living on a few different occasions and have found the staff to be very tentative and helpful. The building has always appeared very clean and smells clean. I haven't tried their food there, but it smells good. I always see the residents smiling and active within the building. I will definitely look into this facility for placement of my loved one when the time comes.

Sheldon Park is an excellent place to check out should you find yourself or a loved one in need of a caring and loving assisted living or memory care environment. Sheldon Park has earned the respect and support of senior providers and healthcare professionals throughout Lane County. As a marketing director in Independent living, I often refer seniors to Sheldon Park that need more than my community can provide.

I am confident I have found the right place for my mother at the right time. The staff is friendly, caring and works very hard to ensure she has had the best possible transition from her own home into the Care Community. They have worked hand and hand with medical professionals and her family throughout the transition. I would make the same decision again. Additionally, the Bridges program for residents with memory disadvantages, is an outstanding program to encourage independence and socialization.

The staff here is very helpful and attentive to the residents. They have lots of activities that seem to keep the residents happy and engaged. The facility itself is clean and well kept. The food here is also pretty good.

Sheldon Park Senior Living has earned an excellent reputation with healthcare professionals, residents and their families. Sheldon Park is an assisted living and memory care community. They offer a unique program to their residents which provides additional social support and optimizes their quality of life. Their residents are happy, comfortable and feel at home. I recommend Sheldon Park for families looking for housing and care for their loved ones.

The scenery here and the views are perfect. Obviously the weather is good (san diego) thank you lol, and the landscape is nice and green.

I have the opportunity to work with Willow Park and their residents and am constantly impressed with their staff and the facility. All staff members are willing to help and are concerned about each resident's needs. Every time I get to visit I am reminded of what a great environment and sense of community Willow Park offers.

One word to say, FANTASTIC !

Things are awesome at the pines. We are very happy there.

I like the fact that they keep their clients entertained. The food is okay, I had it once before and it's not fine cuisine but it is okay.
