New Perspective Senior Living

The people who work there at Freedom Pointe Minnetonka are solid gold! We have had some problems with my mom being belligerent and mean, and they just step up and hug and love her anyway. I can't say enough about Donna (the executive director) as well as Sarah George (the nurse who cares for mom). The chef also is just wonderful! I am not exaggerating to say that I struggle to even come up with the words to say how awesome these people are. We are so very fortunate and thankful to have found them!

Everyone smiles and genuinely cares. My husband never asks to go home with me. He says he is in the perfect place because he doesn't have to worry about anything and everyone is nice to him and he never gets bored. It is clean and very homey. Everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

My parents moved into the Lighthouse a few months ago. We had been looking for the last few years at independent living/assisted living facilities. My parents were very specific with their needs and wants of their next home. Of course the beautiful facility and apartments at the LIghthouse were an easy sell, but they also liked that as they progress into different levels of care, they can stay in the same apartment. The staff at the LIghthouse made my parents' transition into their new home a fairly easy one. Everyone is always so pleasant and helpful. They continue to make sure my parents are meeting new people, are well taken care, and honestly see things from my parents' perspective. After past experiences with other assisted living facilities with different relatives, the LIghthouse is like a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend the LIghthouse.

They were very helpful in contacting us and answering questions. They helped to get moms apartment arranged, go through the process of transition, and everything else. Excellent experience.

Keystone of Eagan is a delightful community! They have the sweetest staff who truly care for seniors! I have an utterly amazing experience every time I visit!

I have recently moved both my parents into Keystone senior living in Eagan and I must say after all the other communities I have toured I believe I have made the perfect choice. The Staff have made my parents feel so much at home from the very 1st day they arrived and every day since. The food is excellent and they even have in house therapy (Interim) which my Father needs and is doing well. The apartments are spacious and even come with washer and dryer. I give keystone a 5 star and would love to talk to anyone that may have doubts about moving their parents into this senior living.

toured - perhaps too expensive but very nice

This was one of the places we considered when we were looking into options. I really liked it here. They had a good presentation, and I was very impressed. It was clean, and friendly, and the staff was professional. The only reason we didn't choose this community is because of personal preferences in location, and proximity to family.

My parents recently moved into this community and I cannot say enough how pleased we all are. The facility is beautiful and the staff are most friendly and accommodating. There is a spirit of compassion and care, mixed with a good dose of fun! Fantastic!

My husband has ALS and Alzheimer's but he can still walk and doesn't need a secure-floor, yet. He stayed at Sunrise for respite care for two weeks this summer. After he settled in he really enjoyed it. He's stayed at other assisted living places and they were nice but he said the food was the best at Sunrise. He also liked the larger size of the facility because there was more of a variety of people to meet and visit with. A very favorite thing was the nice walking path and the adjacent park where he could walk. As his caregiver-spouse, i found the staff to be top-notch. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable and understood his unique combination of diseases and how to handle his needs. He was given a comfortable fully-furnished apartment and well-tended to. He felt safe and secure and that made me fell comfortable so I could enjoy the respite care. I would highly recommend Sunrise.

My father was the first resident at the Lighthouse of SP. He was treated with respect and dignity. His health concerns were dealt with in a compassionate, timely and professional manner. As a family, we were please with his overall care and treatment. As they say in their principals - he was able to live life on purpose and age with dignity. Kudos to the team at the Lighthouse of SP.

We are moving my father into the Lighthouse of Columbia Heights community tomorrow. Between my elderly mother seven siblings and more questions than any one should have to answer in a lifetime, the staff at Lighthouse have been respectful, kind, supportive, understanding, informative and caring. The staff are well-trained, caring and experienced caregivers. The facility is beautiful, clean, has a lot of natural light, provides numerous activities and offers a safe secure environment. Our family couldn't ask for a better situation.

We had several tours and both times were treated like valued guests. Everyone was open, friendly, and welcoming. Michelle Larson was a wonderful, informative 'tour guide' and she made Mom feel right at home. After leaving, Mom wanted to know how soon she could move it! We are sure that Mom will fit right in and enjoy her knew home.

My experience with Sunrise of Golden Valley has been wonderful. The staff is friendly and provides good care to my mom. They offer many activities to keep the residents busy, stimulated, and occupied. The place is excellent!

They've done a wonderful job at Sunrise of Minnetonka so far! The staff are all very very friendly and caring, you never feel like anything you ask is any sort of trouble or imposition for them, they're always happy to help! The facility itself is very nice, and they take great care of all of their residents!

Very clean, great staff and very courteous & prompt. The residence is very homey and as a bonus a dog lives there.

I found that I connected well with the person who gave me the tour (Lori?-sorry not great with names). Melissa was touring another family but come in at the end. Loved the 2 bedroom apartment (except only one toilet), the safety features, possible memory care if needed, busing to places, etc. Chose this as my #1 and intend to go in a week or so for a lunch with my folks.

It’s a great place to go. There is enough parking. Our loved one has let us know that the food is okay. We’re really satisfied with everything at this community. The staff is great and it’s all well kept up and things.

Not posh, which was perfect for my mother. Attentive and friendly staff, and nice roomy accommodations.

They’re open and inviting to everyone, but if someone is looking for any community – make sure you have your finances in order. The food is fine. It might be a little high in sodium, but you can always request for lower sodium options.
