Our father has lived here for almost eleven years. We love the staff and are confident he is getting excellent care. There is a family atmosphere here that makes him feel happy and secure. It’s the people that make it a home.

The staff and Caregivers at the Oaks at Hampton makes this place special. They treat your loved one like family and all family members too. We are so grateful to everyone there for taking care of our mother during our family’s most difficult time. Our mother has a safe and loving home with full time care and love. We so appreciate everyone over there for the AMAZING work they do. There really is angels walking amongst us.

I moved my mother to the Oaks at Hampton over a year ago from independent living in Florida to nearby where I live. It has proven to be a great decision. The staff and facility are great. My mother is now well cared for. I am relieved and very pleased.

Our mother moved in to the memory care wing this year. It did not take long to see that the management and staff are particularly centered on their residents. Move in was seamless. The place is well maintained and clean. Mom was well cared for. The directors seem to spend most of their time interacting with the residents. This was a refreshing change from previous facilities. Oaks provides great activities for residents and support for families. Definitely recommend.

The Executive Director is the very soul of The Oaks. She and her wonderful caring staff are amazing. My Mom lived with dementia at The Oaks for 3.2 yrs. She passed away in 2015 at age 84 truly loved by these kind people. This year my 89 y.o. MIL moved into a different ALF here in Dawsonville (waitlisted at The Oaks). Our experience with care was not what we hoped for. My MIL declined rapidly. After falling twice/ER/ICU…Hospice was called in. Thankfully she was moved to The Oaks for respite care. Mom only lived at The Oaks for a week but she died peacefully being loved on at The Oaks. The Oaks at Hampton will forever have a place in our hearts.

The oaks has been a wonderful place for my dad to live. The staff take great care of him, everyone is treated like a person and not like a number. There are also a lot of great social activities! We are so thankful for the Oaks.

My wife was most comfortable in the memory care unit. When ever one of the caretakers would enter her room she would smile. Always asking for the caregiver’s name if she did not recognize them. The whole staff could not have been more attentive to my wife’s needs. My wife refused to participate in any of the group activities. I tried to encourage her to get involved. But she just refused. Megan Phillips is the BEST department manager.

Mom moved from Assisted Living at Oaks to Memory Care about 2 years ago. I visit her almost every day and have plenty of time to observe and appreciate the ladies that care for all the residents day in and day out. They take the time to learn needs and preferences and go out of their way to make residents happy and comfortable. All staff is a pleasure to work with and answer my questions and concerns immediately and fully. I'm so glad we found Oaks at Hampton; I highly recommend!

The Oaks at Hampton and Horizon MC have been a lifesaver for our family. The staff is incredibly compassionate and dedicated, providing top notch care to our loved one. They’ve created a warm and supportive environment that has significantly improved Colleen’s quality of life. We’re grateful for their expertise, patience and understanding.

Residents have a say at the oaks at Hampton. A caring staff that enjoys caring for others. Long term employees with little turn over. Our family highly recommends taking the tour for their loved ones.

After my dad passed and my mom’s health began to decline we knew we needed to find a place for her and it had to be her decision. We toured a number of places and kept coming back to the Oaks. The facility was awesome and the people amazing! It was hard to leave mom that first night in her new home but very quickly we saw glimpses of who we knew her to be. She made new friends and enjoyed spending time in the community room. The staff was so caring, gentle and loving in every aspect. It made the transition that much better. The facility is always clean. Many fun events for the residents and family members. It has become an extended family for us. I would highly recommend the Oaks at Hampton.

My mother-in-law is quite happy there. She says all the aides are very nice and take good care of her. The amenities are good. My mother-in-law is in a one bedroom. There is a separate small sitting area big enough to hold two recliners. She has a kitchenette that has a small refrigerator and a kitchen sink with counter space for a microwave. The bedroom has a big wide closet.

Most concerns are not really about the care she is receiving ( nurses do a pretty good job and [name removed]is hard to deal with)... I understand why the caregivers move around weekly onto different wings, etc., however, I would like 2 or 3 nurses to stick and deal with just 1 or 2 patients for their entire stay.

The facility lovely. It is always clean and looks very pretty. The facility is always festive. The staff is attentive to details and very welcoming. There is a new leader that is very receptive to ideas and listen to family members. Located 3.5 miles from my home. I love The Oaks of Tucker!

My mom loves living here. She is very well cared for. The staff is so nice and they seem to really care about my mom. But what really snows how they are is how mom talks about them. She never has a complaint about anyone she loves everyone. The price here is extremely reasonable and we couldn't be happier.

I really like the Oaks. I get great meals and the staff checks on me a lot.

What we like the most about Oaks at Greenwood is the friendly staff and we would strongly recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

My brother suffered from stage 6 Alzheimer's. We needed a memory care facility close to our homes that could handle his daily care. My sister and I visited often and would find him out of his bed, cleaned and out in the common area where he shared meals and television with other residents. The staff was very kind and seemed to care a lot about him. He wasn't there long since he went into hospice soon after arriving, but we felt they were very conscientious about his comfort and well-being.

Oaks at Maple Ridge came recommended to me. It is in a great location and I like that it is a Christian association. I know my mom really brags about [name removed] (I believe is her name) she cleans her room. And that the staff is accommodating about her dirty laundry. All staff are very friendly.

I would say that they are very, very responsive to any need. The residents are obviously very happy, open and friendly. The entire process of applying was made personable and as simple as possible. Everything was upfront and honest with no hidden issues. The number of resident is high enough to create a very diverse and varied community, which is exactly what we were looking for.
