They have a new person for activities – so hopefully that will be great too. They have a great location. The layout of the building is unusual. It’s not like a hotel. The food is a four. The laundry service is not great. The parking can be limited.

So far, there have been some complaints about the food, but I am inclined to think that would happen anywhere. He says sometimes, it's overcooked, or burnt, not much flavor. They had some problems with people not doing their jobs well, and have made a lot of positive changes to correct the issue, this happened while we were moving in. I liked the location, and the fact they have a nurse onsite to check on the residents if there are any concerns. I liked that they communicate with the doctors, so there is some consistency in the care, the nurse makes sure that follow ups are done.

I think this is a good community. The food wasn’t that good. They could stand to have better cooking There is a little a little back patio. The fact that they were able to take seniors from independent living all the way through needing to go to the hospital – that they could age in place was a big reason I chose them.

My brother and I toured this community. It was a beautiful facility. They may not have enough staff. A family friend had an unpleasant experience with the staff there that influenced our decision. We went with a community that had more staff available.

They've been very good so far, they have a lot of activities for the residents to do. He is getting involved in the activities more now. He seems to eat fine and enjoy it. Some of the new staff that's just coming in are still learning their job. They are still transitioning from Bonaventure. I think they are a little overwhelmed. They had an open house to introduce the new staff, but they didn't really introduce who was who, they went around and answered questions, and introduced themselves, but there was no general introduction so we don't know who we need to talk to now and who is in charge of what.

This is a nice place, the only problem I had with it was some deficiencies in the housekeeping service. It's recently gone through a change in ownership and the new owners have said those problems will be addressed, and they would also be making some improvements in a few other areas, such as hiring a full-time nurse.

Generally very happy with the services provided to my two loved ones, one in assisted living and one in memory care. The facility is nicely appointed and they report that the food is good. The staff is very friendly and helpful and anxious to please. As with any service provider, its a good idea to follow-up and make certain that you get clarity and fully understand who (family or facility) is responsible for any given item/situation. They do not appear to be understaffed, as this sort of facilities sometimes are and have delivered the promised services. Overall, I have only good feelings about the Arbor Place facility and staff.

My sister is happier than she's been for a long time. The care seems to be good and they have lots of activities like outings, bingo and movies. She likes taking part in those. I do think they could stick with one owner. The place has been sold again. This is the third owner since my sister has lived there. Fortunately we have not seen any changes in quality since the one that took over like a month or two ago. My sister she loves the food so that's good. We looked at a lot of places and I found High Desert to be convenient because I don't live that far away and I work near there. It's very open and bright and the people were out and about and seemed happy.

The value is a hard one because the price of the service plan has gone up from when we first put dad in there. I'm still a little bit confused about why. I guess their initial assessment was too early and when the cost went up it was based on the first 30 days when his behavior was absolutely terrible due to dementia. I think they needed to get a finer adjustment on his meds. We finally got his meds under control and now it's working really well so hopefully the price will go down next month. I like, her name is Eunice, she's like a supervisor of the caregivers. She is always nice whenever I call. I like her a lot. Arbor Terrace like a resort and the food is really good. We ate there and it's 10x than the food at the last place. It's 3 levels. They have a little theater room with a big flat screen TV. There's even a pool table and a shuffle board game. There is a reading area. They have a section of memory care. We toured the memory care side. The lady that supervises that is very in tune with providing activities for the residents and they seem happy. They have a blended environment where my parents stay in the assisted living but if dad needs to go to memory care they take him there.

They're pretty nice there but they seemed to be more expensive. Of course, if my mom is going to get the care she needs she should probably be in a place like this. It was a very nice place but the rooms seemed small.

Friendly staff and atmosphere. Very nice facility. We like that there is an option for an early on dementia client to enjoy the benefits of assisted living and...when necessary .. the transition into the memory care unit. I also like the close knit community feel. Pretty close to 'sold' on this location.

We did this one first and did not see many independent seniors. We did like the location.

Very nice facilities.

I like Auburn Meadows. Will also consider this place. I have another discussion with them on Thursday at 9:30am to discuss Memeory Care and budgeting.

In the retirement section they have a full kitchen. Memory care available.

This is my second choice. It is a smaller community and not as close to me as River Vally.

Definatley too far away, assisted living side is too large for her...to confusing, memory care side is similar to where she is now...just not right.

This is a good place but too many late stage Alzheimers patients mixed in with the moderate stage patients.

Visited. 2Bdrm-1BA 880 sq ft with balcony, $2730+$300 for second person and $10 each per dog for a total of $3050 per month. This includes one meal a day, weekly linen change, air conditioned room an accessible room, especially the bathroom with large wheel in shower. They have a large generator that operates accessible elevators in case of power outage. Deposit $750(neg)+ $500 per dog(pmt powwible), Residents are thrilled to be there and are inviting to potential new neighbors. Staff more business casually dressed.
