Cherry Laurel is a well structured, clean, and fun place to live. The food is well prepared and contains lots of variety. I have felt very welcome by staff and residents and glad that I found this place.

I would recommend to others / the staff are wonderful but my husband does not like the food. I picked this community because being admitted was easy and it is beautiful inside and the price.

We chose Cherry Laurel because of the overall perception of safety and value. There is also a shuttle that is supposed to be available for residents when they need to go off residency. I heard they are having challenges being able to go to appointments when they are scheduled. Staff are Very helpful, but there seems to be several residents have had incidents of theft of miscellaneous items....

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and well maintained. The move in process was easy. The meals are okay. Could improve on the variety of meals. I do recommend Celebration Villa.

Our loved one likes the residents who are living there as well as the working staff members. They are nice, but there is just not enough staff, the staff turnover is high.

My biggest issue is that there is nothing in writing for a new resident. Such as "what day is trash day?" What are the times for meals? Just stuff that new residents don't know already.

Brentwood Assisted Living gives compassionate care to my parents.

We picked Celebration Villa for the following reasons, in addition to items noted above: one BR unit with balcony, monthly price met her budget, location convenient to local children and grand children and familiar to her (e.g., near stores where she used to shop), and ease of transition from her current independent living to assisted living within the same building if/when she makes that transition.Overall impression during visits, confirmed by mom's living experience: competent and friendly professional staff; friendly residents with similar socioeconomic demographics (comfortably middle/upper middle class, but not country-club); random residents we talked to during visits liked living there; food a bit bland (negative #1), facilities a bit worn compared to a couple other places (negative #2).

All was good. The only thing I didn't understand (because it wasn't made clear) is that I did not have access to the room from the time I paid the deposit until move in day...to get the room ready. I only had access to the room the day before move in. I would recommend the facility to others.

The staff is okay. Not unfriendly, but not proactive either. It's the cheapest option in the area and isn't bad. On the Independent Living side there is zero assistance. It would be nice if they added Ala Carte items, like help with meds. They are raising the rate in 2024, but it's still the most affordable option compared to other locations.

The reason we chose Celebration Villa of Exeter was because the facility was very clean, and the overall field made me feel very comfortable and it was a small setting. It is a small community and mostly over 70. There is no ethnic diversity.

This is our first time in an assisted living facility. It would have been nice for more activities to keep them busy during the day. Based on the experience we would recommend this community so far to other families.

The staff at Celebration Villa of Teays Valley are wonderful. Especially [name removed], the main nurse. And [name removed] who works very closely with a lot of the wheelchaired folks. Their activities are wonderful. The staff works hard to make things go well -- example: the picnics, the Halloween holidays, the Thanksgiving dinner, the indoor carnival that they organized, etc. They are renovating a lot of areas, so that's good. All new furniture was a good move. It's a little bit expensive, but about normal compared to others in the area.

My mother is currently a resident at Brookdale Deer Creek. Most everything has been very good for her at this facility so far. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The meals are also great. The staff and care services are good. The activities are okay. Overall, I would definitely recommend Brookdale Deer Creek to others.

I would say that Brookdale was a nice small intimate community. I chose Brookdale for the size and the price.

Mind that I don't live there. They do a lot of special themes on Friday nights where people can drink and gather. They have places they take a group to different restaurants and areas of interest 2 or twice a week. I would recommend it.

Know what "level of care" is involved with your loved one. The price changes dramatically as their level increases!! I didn't know pets were there and didn't need leaches! the staff was very pleasant. The move in process was easy once the mower on the trailer was moved! The meals were good! Housekeeping kept everything clean and were accommodating! Maintenance put a fence up so people could go outside on their porch without the dogs bothering them. The only complaint that I have was not knowing the level of care prior to move in. I would recommend Celebration Villa of Hearthstone to others.

When it comes to the cleanliness of the community the lobby smells like stale urine. We have not eaten there are been to the dining room so we cannot comment on that category. It is expensive, but they are a secured facility and the price doesn't increase with her level of care.

[name removed] very warm and welcoming and reassuring. Process was efficient. It is only for memory care; one level; not crowded; appeared clean; responsive to my questions.

Close enough to get to easily. Very friendly staff. Light, bright, well decorated. It looks happier than all others I looked at.I would say, it isn't perfect but it is probably the best I can find in this area.
