It was my mom's idea to move to Colorado Springs from Arizona to be near to us. We researched several of the options available here in town. She had some criteria that she wanted: a separate garage, a patio (not a balcony) and her own laundry. When we brought her to visit and choose a place, within 5 minutes of walking into Liberty Heights she told us to "Write the check, this is where I want to live!". She loved the layout of the overall complex, having a ground level home with garage and patio. She loved that she could walk anywhere and not have to go outside if she didn't want to. Most of all, she loved that she was told that her family could come and go as much as she wanted, whether eating with her or participating in activities or using the facilities (pool etc.). In the four years since my dad has been gone, my mom has not been this happy. She is making friends and doing activities I never dreamed she would do! As a daughter, I am impressed with Liberty Heights as well. They are extremely friendly and inclusive. We always feel welcome and informed. Any question or concern is directly addressed and resolved. The units are older, but the fact that each new resident has control over how their unit will look and that the unit is completely renewed with flooring, paint etc is impressive. The cost of living there is at the higher end of my mom's budget, however, the value of what she is getting for that cost far outweighs the dollar amount. The location for our family is perfect. We love the gated community and feel like it is extremely safe. No place is perfect, but we are very happy we chose Liberty Heights!

Staff is friendly and helpful immediately upon entering. Residents happy and quickly attended to by facility staff and the common areas are clean and smell fresh. I love how often the facility provides entertainment for it's residents and the activities offered daily.

Met with [name removed]. The facility & pricing was fantastic. The staff was friendly, introduced us to residents & other staff alike. It was a warm, inviting, & homey place to be. Unfortunately, we really need a fully furnished place for short term respite care, & Lincolnwood Place only has an unfurnished apartment available. However, they are definitely worth a look if you are searching for a permanent place.

My brother is a resident of the Memory Care Unit here and I can only say awesome things about Addington Place. From the Administration to the CNA’s, Addington is the BEST! If you want to make sure your love one is safe, and is taken well care of, give them a home at Addington. The place is beautiful; the food is good, and the people who work there are AWESOME! They listen to what you have to say, and they do their best to accommodate your request. I am so glad my brother is at Addington Place… they are taking very good care of him. I can go to bed at night knowing my brother is in a safe and secure place. Thanks to all of you at Addington for being wonderful people, who have hearts of gold!

You will become familiar with the every member of the staff at Canfield Place, all of them kindly, friendly and helpfully assist with all your and your love one's needs. My dad has been a resident at Canfield Place for about three years and he loves every staff member and they all know him by name. The nurses and aides always greet my wife, my father and myself every time they buzz us in or passes us in the hall. My father many times to my embarrassment tells the young ladies they are beautiful and ask for a hug. They always smile and treat my father with love and concern. Every time he has been sick out side of the facility the staff has sent a signed card and called to check on his health. In addition, anytime I called in during his sicknesses the first question is, "How is your father?". I could not have asked for a better experience for my father or myself. The facility always smells nice, looks clean and the food is very good with plenty of snacks for my father.

First of all, the best thing about Sheridan is that the staff is wonderful. Cheerful, respectful and caring. My MIL has resided at the memory care for over a year and considers it her home. Her having “no complaints” is the best review we as a family could make. Also, kudos to Director [name removed] as we much appreciate her calm and caring manner. She is very hands on with residents and is experienced in navigating the inevitable twists and turns associated with dementia. The activities staff are pleasant and creative with crafts, musical entertainment, movies, brain games and general engagement. Thanks Sheridan!

My wife and I searched the web for a continuing care, or close to that, throughout NY state. In addition we checked out such facilities in Maryland and PA. After four years of careful searching, we found Legacy at Fairways, here in Victor. Our first impression was of the warmth and caring of the manager/sales person, [name removed]. We then compared these facilities with all the ones we had read about and visited, and the setting, the actual villas, the price (rent not buy) and the "feel" of the place, and we decided right away to go for it, rather than put it off for a few years. [Name removed] was responsive to all the phone calls over the next year while our Villa was being built, and from the moment we moved into, we were astounded at everything about the place. As people moved in around us to all the new Villas, things became more and more like home. I'm sure there is someone here who is not happy; I just haven't met one. What a gift to have found this place!

My father has been at Baywinde independent living for about 3 months now. He gets 3 square meals a day, no worries, lots of activities and met nice people to socialize with. It has been a wonderful experience for him!!!

My friend has lived here for over 3 years. We chose Canfield Place because of the many services available and because of the caring staff. There are many activities to participate in for those who are able. The food is excellent. The residents are treated with respect. The facility is very clean and does not smell.

The facilities and staff at Logan Place are great! They treated my father-in-law like he was family.

My 90 year old mother was living at an independent living center in Naples, needed additional care and we had to move quickly. We looked at 6 different memory care facilities locally and Bayshore was in a class by itself. The Bayshore team was very responsive and very flexible to accommodate us. My mom has been there almost 2 months now and we couldn’t be happier. We know she is clean and safe. The staff is professional, caring and very friendly. The food is very good and there are plenty of activities for mom. The facilities are first class and I would recommend Bayshore with reservation.

This was a beautiful facility with a country club feel to it. The 1 bedrooms were huge and even the studio was spacious. They seemed very professional and wanted to know all about my mom's personality so they could help her become comfortable in this setting.

The staff was very friendly and helpful while visiting. As soon as we walked in, the food smelled wonderful and we were invited to stay for lunch. The food tasted just as good as it smelled. Our friend from church moved in a few months ago and is enjoying herself. We look forward to visiting and being invited back.

My parents moved to the Sheridan three months ago. A+

We moved our grandmother into the community late January 2019. We were extremely nervous about the move and how she would adjust to her new surroundings. We were surprised at how quickly she settled in. The team at Park Creek couldn’t be more warm, welcoming and accommodating. Our grandmother immediately felt like she was home and often is so involved in the activities we seem to inconvenience her when we visit! She is thriving in her new home and we couldn’t be happier or have better piece of mind. [Name removed] and [name removed] were instrumental in our final decision to select Park Creek Place. Their passion for caring and enriching the lives of those who are affected by Alzheimer’s is evident in everything they do. We would wholeheartedly recommend Park Creek Place!

The Barrington is a vibrant facility with lots of activities and options for residents. The staff was friendly and the facility was clean

I visited/toured Sheridan at Park Ridge, and found it to be not only a beautiful place to live, but all the staff are so personal, friendly, and knowledgeable. I rate it a five stars in all area and the best to consider in our Park Ridge/Niles areas. [Name removed] is my counselor and she is great ... she always has a smile for us. My mom recently moved to Barrington from another facility after a stroke and she is so happy! The food is restaurant quality and the servers are kind, courteous and make the dining experience a pleasure. The nursing staff is caring, smiling, engaged and they respond quickly when called. The facility is beautiful and has a more "open" feel than others I toured. There are so many activities and the residents appear to be out and about instead of staying in their rooms.

Lakeside Vista has a very welcoming staff! The facility is great and your loved one will be well taken care of!!
