I toured this community while vacationing in FL. My A place for mom made several recommendations for us to visit while in the Venice area. I am helping look for my brothers family. They are looking to relocate with his mother n law. We visited 4 communities while in town. Tuscan was our stop. MY impression when i walked in was it was brought an the young lady at the front was very warm and welcoming. I also noticed the smell, it was a cozy aroma, it smelled of erbs and sweet sauce. They had a bistro area that the chef was actually cooking food in that main area for the families' that night. That struck a good nerve for my husband and i. My husband is a chef, so that pleased him. The staff was very insightful, the lady touring us knew everyone's name and it felt very personal. We looked at a few rooms, what stood out to me were how big the closets were. Out of all the places we saw, they had the largest closest and every room had a fan. I didn't see that much elsewhere. Nice Feel.

I moved in to Grand villa a little over 7 months ago I haven’t regretted the decision at all. I am allowed to still be independent but still get the help when I need it. It is all the joy of being in an apartment and a hotel but also there is extra help when I need it!

My Mother was had been sad and deteriorating slowly at the community she previously resided at. Since moving to Grandvilla in Deland I can see that she is now happy and happy to be apart of their community.

We had to make the tough decision of placing my uncle in long term care and are so grateful we found Grand Villa. The staff is amazing, the accommodations are great and overall we couldn’t be happier with the care he is receiving in their memory care area here.

Words can’t express the joy of finding this wonderful community for my Mother. The team is incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. Amber brought peace to my family during a difficult decision to move my Mother a few months after my Father passed away. It is comforting to know she is in a safe, clean, secured environment. My Mother is excited for all the cool activities scheduled, great food and her new adventure with new friends. Thank you TEAM Grand Villa of Palm Coast!!

What our family likes the most about the Grand Villa community is the staff and we would absolutely recommend this community to other families. We highly recommend Grand Villa of Clearwater, the staff is caring, efficient and loving. They made the transition for our parents flawless and overall positive. The building is clean, safe and they offer many moments for entertainment and pleasure for the seniors.

You go to some places for the elderly and its apauling how little the owners care about the people that have to stay there ! I was so surprised and happy to see that the Grand Villa was renovated by the new owners and they added an elevator ! Now that's an person who cares for the people that live there !!! I hear the food is also good,that's anotjer plus ! And when you drive up all sorts of trees, plants that beautify the surroundings ! Happy to see all the changes ! I saw it before it was taken over and it made .me sick,to remember how ugly and smelly it was !!!

This was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. After my dad was living with me for eight years it got to the point where I can no longer care for him. I toured many facilities and Riverview was the best. Leadership genuinely cares about its residents and their families. The staff has been amazing. Food is great and my dad seems happy here. Not to mention, the views are stunning! ??

I recently relocated my dad from gold choice and I can not have been happier with the decision. The team at Grand Villa Ormond have been amazing. I can rest easy now knowing my Dad is getting adequate amounts of food access to hot water and overall better care.

A few months ago I wanted to volunteer in a senior living so I went to Grand Villa where I helped with an event that was going on. The activities for the day were so fun and I really liked the residents there. The staff was helpful with anything I needed And to point me in the right direction of the life and enrichment coordinator. I would feel safe and happy that my loved one is here .

Got to spend sometime with [name removed]. My mother was very impressed with the quality and location of the facility. the most important thing to her was that she woukld be near the downtown and the bay. This is an amazing facility and wants to be close to all the activities. She's very excited to be moving in here in 2025!

I have been living at Grandvilla for about 3 months now And I am loving absolutely it! I want to thank all of the wonderful staff for supporting me and continue helping me meet my standards of living.

I AM JUST MOVING IN TO THIS GREAT PLACE WITH A FEELING OF HOME. A PLACE FOR MOM GAVE ME MANY CHOICES AND AFTER VISITING 8 PLACES I FELT I FOULD MY HOME AWAY FROM HOME AT THE GRANDVILLA. I WAS GREETED AND INTRODUCED TO EVERYONE WE CAME IN CONTACT WITH. I FOUND A SPECIAL FRIEND IN MY COORDINATOR AND FOUND MY BALCONY APT THAT I AM MOVING INTO SLOWLY..I CANNOT WAIT TO JOIN THE MANY FUNCTIONS THAT ARE AVAILABLE EACH AND EVERY DAY, AND MEET NEW FRIENDS..THE MAIN SELLING POINT IN MY SEARCH IS THAT I DO NOT HAVE TO MOVE INTO ANY OTHER PLACE TO GO FROM INDEPENDENT TO ASSISTENT LIVING TO MEMORY CARE..THE FOOD LOOKS GREAT BUT THE FEEL OF BEING WELCOMED AND CARED ABOUT IS THE MOST REWARDING FEELING IN A PLACE TO LIVE. The community has such an amazing warm and welcoming feel. Everyone we spoke to was extremely friendly. The people were very insightful on all answering all the questions we had. Many residents offered to speak with us, that was very helpful.I was very pleased with what i saw. This was our 2nd visit to this community. Before meeting at the community, they sent me pictures and videos' to show my aunt and uncle which was very helpful in preparing them for the visit. It was less overwhelming when we brought them in. That seemed to help get them on board and embarrass the idea of relocating.

This place is great! The food is delicious and the staff is so accommodating. It was nice that we could stay with mom when we were visiting from out of town. It is a perfect location that sits in the heart of Venice!

I’ve met some nice people. The food could be better I will say. Other than that I’m alright. All the help is good. I love the staff including [name removed], [name removed]and [name removed]. The driver is very accommodating. I wish there was more activities other than that I really have no complaints. The activities director does the best he can with his budget. I also love my room.

I regularly visit a friend at Grand Villa. I have always been impressed with the cleanliness and friendly staff… and availability of fresh coffee! My friend recently moved to the 3rd floor. While it is a small shared room, the kitchen is quite large. We walked around the 3rd floor and there are plenty of options to get out of the room and into nice common areas and even two open air balconies! I would choose this place for myself if the need ever arises.

Facility is spacious, open and well managed. I would recommend a loved one choose to stay there for assisted living.

The ALF side staff are exceptionally friendly, understanding and compassionate. The memory care staff are poorly staffed. While my mother was there, the nursing manager was unfriendly and argumentative, and the staff, direct staff, while very friendly didn't speak English so when you're dealing with someone who's scared and afraid and not understanding where they are and inability to communicate, makes it very difficult to calm that person down. The staff would call me all hours of the day and night to come take care of my mother when I was paying them thousands of dollars a month to take care of my mother. Upon moving my mother, I learned that the Director of nursing, [name removed], was being put in charge of memory care moving forward. [name removed] is amazing and I have no doubt that the memory care will be turned around under her direction. She's spectacular.
