When my Father and I decided it was time to find a place for him to relax and not worry and most of all for me to not worry if he fell or if he’s eaten and so on. I live almost 2hrs away... We went to several places in Springfield MO . Out of all of them The Waterford was the only one that stood out to me. Not only is it affordable and so clean but has everything my dad needs and most of all I have reassurance knowing he’s being cared for and loved. Yes I said Loved ... The staff is AMAZING, [name removed] is so wonderful to keep me posted and [name removed] is such a sweet heart anytime or anything I need she’s ready and happy to help me. When I could go in and visit everyone had smiles and always said hello. It really felt warm and welcoming. [name removed] is another amazing guy ! Making sure things work no matter what dad needs he’s there fast and fixes it for him! Dad isn’t into the activities so I can’t really comment on that other then I know they have such cute ideas I’ve seen them do ! To let you know as well and I won’t mention names but to compare the Waterford to any others would just be impossible. Long story short the other places were just disgusting to lack of staff to poor conditions inside and out.. Every time I have visited and I used to go 3times a week, the Waterford is always clean ; organized and so friendly. They check on dad for me and I ask them to go in and bug him to join in on some fun lol. Which they got him a few times and I got some great pics from them ?? Now that we are on this Covid virus and so unsure on what it can do or how fast it can spread . Seeing the news and how other facilities have been infected from lack of knowledge to understaffing I can honestly say as you read above how much they all have done and gone through to keep all the residents safe . From the beginning to now even tho they have had two scares ; they are going above and beyond protecting everyone. I can not express how much that means to me even tho it has been soo hard not hug my dad or hang out with him like I used to. I would not have it any other way ! To know he’s safe and they care that much to sacrifice and work hard to keep everyone protected by cleaning, watching and limiting who goes in and out. I couldnt be anymore proud of them and so blessed my father is there ! Communication and updated emails are sent to me on everything that’s going on. I feel like apart of the team. My biggest fear about this virus is my father dying alone if he ever got it bad enough. Having the staffs love and hard work eases that fear because I know they are doing everything they can to learn and protect and continue keeping everyone safe . No matter how hard or uncomfortable it is for them to say no or not letting people come and go . I can’t imagine how hard that would be . To have to separate loved ones for their safety and health . That right there shows how much they care . I tell them every chance I get how much I appreciate them and their dedication! Thank you !

So impressed with the precautions they have taken to take care of residents during the pandemic. Especially grateful for their constant information communication.

My brother [name removed] has lived at Rosemont for 18 plus years. Rosemont is a beautiful facility and they are very caring for each one of their residents. He is very happy there and loves the other residents and the care-givers. He also loves [name removed], she is the head of Rosemont and she is an exceptional leader for the people. She goes above and beyond to take care of her residents and ensures their safety comes first. They have a great community and offer many events to keep the residents occupied and entertained. I appreciate all the amenities for my brother at Rosemont and knowing he is safe and sound helps me so much. [name removed] is treated like Family and [name removed] is a true superstar as a leader in Rosemont. He calls it home and it is a beautiful and loving facility with lot's of love to share.

This has been the place for my parents ages 91 and 94. They came one year ago. Sadly with COVID, this has turned like everything. But even in the cut back of activities, they have enjoyed it. Because meals are the most important and technically all they are getting now, food meals not good. Need a good chef and worth the money you'd pay him. Probably hard to find, need good chef.

Waterford staff and management are very helpful and are very knowledgeable of their residents. All are very welcoming as soon as enter the building. Whenever I need help with patients or need questions answered, staff and management are always willing to assist with a smile on their face.

The Rosemont staff has been awesome, before and during the pandemic. They have been responsive to our needs as a family as well as my father's needs as a resident. They are working diligently to ensure that we receive quality care for our resident. When the facility was closed to visitors, they kept us informed and facilitated visits, phone calls, and delivered care packages to our loved one. We are very happy with our decision to choose Rosemont!

The Waterford has a large choice of rooms and they are all reasonably priced. The staff is great, they are always there to help you. They have constantly upgraded the facility so the rooms and appliances are like near. The food is comparable to what you find in retirement homes in this price range.

Waterford is an excellent retirement - staff is excellent, caring, and very protective of residents. [name removed] does an excellent job of doing interesting things, she is wonderful.

At Waterford we have games every day, we are taken out to shop. Taken to our doctor's appointments. Everyone is nice to us from the director to the cleaning crew.

Love it here.

I have lived at The Waterford for about 10 years and have enjoyed every bit of those years. We have well-planned activities every day and have a lot of social gatherings. We enjoy getting together and singing or just visiting. I would recommend this facility to anyone is looking. Our staff is great and very helpful.

Many things to do - party, bingo, Spanish bingo, hobby, crafts. Hymn singing, prayer meetings. Puzzles, fitness, games. During COIVD we are protected. Staff cares. Thank you!!

Best place in Putnam Co. Wouldn't leave here in the long care of anyone else.
