It will be 2 years. I have lived here at the end of April.

My mom is at The Lodge at White Bear, A Sky Active Living Community. They have a shuttle bus and a bus driver that would take her to her doctor's appointment. They cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In the room, there's no stove, but they have a microwave and a fridge. They promote socialization there, especially when they're eating. They have crafts and stuff going on pretty much every day. They had somebody come in there and read poetry when I was there. They also had somebody else come in and sing. If you want a garage, it's only $[fee removed] a month. My mom could also bring an animal. She did have a little dog, but she ended up having to re-home him. However, that was just a one-payment deposit. The payment for a one-bedroom monthly includes everything except the phone and the garage if you have a car. The lady that runs it is very, very nice. She promotes a good environment. The people there are very, very nice, too. I can't compare it to anything else, but I wouldn't mind living there!

We like that Waterford offers activities and outings, and enjoy seeing the pictures on the Facebook page. Staff appears caring and willing to communicate. Directors are aware of what is happening in the facility.

Facility is clean and will maintain. Sometimes staff changes. We were able to have a private room with nice view and quiet.

Independent living, but great service. Staff is great. Very cozy atmosphere and friendly staff and residents. She has easily made the transition.

there are approximately 100 residence living here. The facilities are quite functional and I would say above average. Staff is always friendly and smiling and willing to help. Most of the residents are also very friendly too. The food is very good. Lots of activities to participate in and weekly trips to Walmart.

After touring this facility, we found ourselves comparing every other option to Waterford of Fairfield. The common areas are bright and clean. The residents and staff are friendly. The food is good (but not better than mom’s) and delivered by smiling faces. The administrator really does care about her residents, and it shows. There are daily recreational activities, most of which are led by the staff. I highly recommend Waterford of Fairfield for your loved one.

Convenient location. Cleanliness. Reasonably good food. Accommodating. Friendly. Business like when necessary.

We recently toured your facility. Our tour was great. We felt very welcomed & comfortable. We will tell you that we were very disappointed with the heating/cooling units in the apartments that we viewed. They are very old & dirty! They look very cheap & it certainly is not cheap to live in your facility. You really need to look into an upgrade!

The staff is very caring and notify us if they are concerned about anything regarding my MIL. The food quality is not the best; not the preparation but the quality...Aramark or Sysco food most likely.

The staff were very helpful when moving my mom to Summit. Very clean and no odors like most places I checked out. Maintenance staff kind and friendly. Maybe a few more activities. It might help keep residents from getting bored. Only complaint would be the meals that are prepared. Not much variety. Only thing my mom complains about daily.

People are friendly, dress is casual, and staff is attentive and helpful. The large, high-ceilinged dining room is inviting: the meals first-rate.

We were attracted to them because of the proximity to my house - 7 minutes away. I would recommend- staff is caring and very consistent. Residents seem to enjoy living there.

Facility is pretty good the staff are helpful. Food is great!

On the assisted living side: Deep clean the rooms once in a while. More attentive to prompting residents with showers and hygiene. Observe residents taking their medication to make sure it is taken.

We picked them because of the cost of location. Overall it has been a great experience for our family. I would recommend to others.

The staff is always helpful and my mom seems to enjoy everyone. Unfortunately, there is turnover because they do not pay their employees what they are worth. Sometimes, because of this you could say “you get what you pay for”. Overall, my mom likes living here. She’s more involved in activities, which is great and she enjoys the chefs cooking. It’s a smaller facility which we love and while we’ve had a few bumps in the road, I am glad we made the move because my mom seems happier.

Sonida Senior Living is now management company was holiday by Atria before june 2024. This is an improvement, food quality has improved some staff members have returned. Others promoted. Hopefully rent will stay as is next year, but everything is all inclusive here and hope it stays that way.

The facility has changed management and gone up on the cost. We've noticed some decline in service, but are hopeful it's just kinks being worked out. The staff is SUPER kind and attentive to concerns.

I love being around all the different residents! I get very lonely easy, and there are so many residents here that I can talk to during different activities and the meals. I love being able to do exercise, as I am very active.
