We chose The Waterford because of the value for the money, the location was close to me, and my mom also liked the layout of the facility. They have different sizes of rooms to choose from depend on how much you want to pay. Overall, the staff is very great, they are cooperative and trying to their best for the residents and their family members. I would recommend to others.

We chose The Waterford at Virginia Beach because of the friendliness of the staff and what they offered, he was here for respite care. The room sizes here are nice. I ate here once and the food was really good, it appeared that they were fresh foods. They base the meals off the diet of the client. It is expensive but they go above and beyond for their residents, I would recommend.

We really liked the community itself, however at times it did seem like the staff was overworked. The rooms are beautiful and we were able to bring in our own furniture and decorate it our selves. We would recommend this community to others.

The staff has been great, the food is ok but could be better. the food is not what i would call diabetic friendly but all in all, it's been a good experience. I would definitely recommend this community to others.

Depending on the care level of your loved one, I would recommend this community. The apartments felt like an actual apartment. It felt more on the residential side than a assisted living community for my loved one.

We have been happy with the community, Their system works well, they have cottages with 10-12 residence max. They have their own room and a nice outside area to be able to spend time outdoors. They are prepared and served breakfast in each cottage and lunch and dinner come from the main kitchen on site. I would recommend this facility to others.

I did a lot of research before we went with this facility. We chose The Waterford at Park Falls because it was locally based, it had the best ratings from people who worked and lived there, and all of the meals are homemade on site. They also offered both options for us, assisted living and memory care. the room sizes are equal size to a studio apartment. I know the staff personally as well as professionally, they have always been very friendly and helpful. One cool service they provide is a kitty account that you can add money into and staff members will go pick up whatever your loved one needs. I would definitely recommend to others.

We were very pleased with our first impression. Overall everything is good, the only thing we have an issue with is the day to day care our loved one needs. Some of the workers are not as trained as they should be with the medical abilities. The rooms at this community are more than sufficient.

We chose Southfield Senior Living because we needed limited services and this facility allowed more independence. We also liked the location and the affordability. The apartment sizes here are adequate for one person. The best pat about the community so far is just the cooperation and communication from the staff members, they are on top of it. I would recommend.

Dedicated, hardworking staff at all levels. Labor turnover is a bit high at lower levels and it takes time for new staff to get up to speed, affecting efficiency, and we're learning senior staff. Just higher beginning hourly wage. Food: Improving under new manager / chef (hard to please all tastes and preferences).

This community provides excellent care. It is clean, the food is relatively good, the staff is friendly and helpful. It has been a joy to meet so many new friends. I would recommend it.

I'd like to give you very good but they have gone downhill immensely. My husband and I were 50% happy with the meals when we first came here, but, they have gone down. They have decreased. The care is very nice and makes sure we are taken care of.

A majority of the meals are too spicy for the senior citizen community. Most of the staff are wonderful and friendly.

Cares about health and welfare of all, help is excellent, kind, and willing to help when they can. Everyone knows your name and greets you in a warm friendly manner.

Living is good

The comments are here from the residents and community are mostly positive and praising. Yes, we complain, but the majority are positive, stating an asset to the community. I'm 6th generation living here and this is my dream come true. What better use for this land?

I don't give 5 stars. Nothing is perfect.

Mesquite seems adequate for our needs. Shopping is adequate for us. Traffic seems moderate. No knowledge of community services.

Food is not constant quality. I get food I did not order or want. The front desk does not always relay messages that resident is ready to return after a doctor's appointment. Driver not notified until 1 or 2 hours after the first call. Most staff members are nice and helpful. The activity director is wonderful and has all kinds of fun things planned for every day! Shout out to [name remove] too!
