The community is beautiful and it is clean. The front desk staff are really friendly. They are very accommodating and they know each of their residents by name. The food is really good and the offer additional items as desired. His apartment is okay and comfortable and more than enough space for him.

I did like the place quite a bit but what’s disappointing is the difference in the prices shared on this portal and the prices quoted during the tour.

Lovely place but too pricey at this time for the family

So beautiful and as perfect as anything I have seen as of today, 5th community to view. I wasn't able to view the inside of the community because of CoVid (they are being extremely careful which I appreciate) but saw videos and pictures and [name removed] were so helpful and encouraging. I'm ready to make the move, just need to go over finances to make sure it will work. I am beyond excited.

The staff at Lincoln Meadows are very helpful and very friendly. I love the fact that when my mom walks by, the staff greet her by her name. It makes her feel like an important part of the community which was very helpful with her transition. The food seemed pretty good when she first moved in, but it has gone downhill since and the food service is horrible. We use their in house doctors which has been nice. The maintenance staff are quick and very responsive. The reception staff are very helpful even helping my mom with her cell phone problems. We love the layout of her apartment , She has a balcony which is really special.

The place is wonderful, they took great care of my parents. A great community that I would recommend to anyone. They worked with us really well to take care of my parents and the coordination was really good. The activities at the community were also great. There was always plenty to do. There was, however, an issue with maintaining housekeeping staff, which meant the cleanliness of the residents' rooms was really inconsistent. At one point they also lost a chef, and that meant food took almost an hour to prepare. A little on the pricey side, you definitely get what you pay for here. The services were adequate for the higher price.

Not taking now. Good possibility. Know someone living there.

With the winter behind us we ventured out to Lake Zurich, Ill. This is where my dad, [name removed], lives in the memory care unit at Cedar Lake Assisted Living. I personally have not seen my dad for over 6 months. First, [name removed] and I got sick in Jan./Feb. so we did not want to get anyone sick by dad. Then covid19 came and we could not see him during the quarantine. We, being from Wisconsin, are out now because our Supreme court ruling shut down Governor Evers unconstitutional orders. So the 1st day that was nice after the lockdown, we got out. [name removed], [name removed], and I went down to IL. with some of my grandangels: [names removed]. [names removed] were with their dad so they couldn’t make it. [name removed] drove and [name removed] brought the dry eraser markers (they will wash right off in the rain) so we could write dad/ grandpa/great grandpa notes on his window. Just look at those pics of my dad! He looks so happy, content, in good spirits, I must say my dad is being taken care of so fabulously. He is alert and just so happy. Thank you all at Cedar Lake for taking such good care of him for us. Not only have you taken care of his physical needs but it is also so obvious that my dad’s whole being is under such responsible, caring people. I wish I could download a pic of my dad so you could enjoy it as much as we do. Last Monday was such a beautiful, sunny, spring day and to see my dad so healthy and happy really made for just an all-around super “we got out” day. This memory will be considered a very well needed moment.

They have been amazing. They have been so helpful through this whole virus quarantine. They are bringing her meals to her room and she is given menu options. It is the cleanest place we looked at. We have been so pleased with our choice. I know it is a little higher priced then some other places in the area but you get what you pay for.

Everyone is so nice here! Each day I think I died and went to heaven. I am meeting new friends daily and there are so many fun things to do. The servers know my name and what I like. The office staff always greets me with a big smile and first name hello. The activities are simply the best! Having been in other facilities since needing to leave my home 2 years ago, I am finally living without regret and look forward each day too many activities and their friends here in my “New Life” living at The Enclave. A great place to live with many interesting people and support personnel willing to change and seek improvement.

My sister entered assisted living at age 60 with early onset dementia. She spend the best 4 years in MC. She was cared for by the most loving professionals I've ever met. The beautiful Cedar Lake facility is small which makes visiting very personal. You really get to know all the care givers and support people as well as other residents' families. Very clean, helpful, safe, caring and wonderful place for your loved ones.

This was my first Assisted Living tour. I am looking for placement for my parents. I was VERY impressed with this facility. Very clean, updated, cheery and friendly. Fireplaces added warmth. Staff were all friendly and greeted residents by name. It smelled like a brand new home. [Name removed] was informative, helpful and professional. Both my sister and I were quite pleased with HighPointe. As nurses who have a high standard this is a great review!!!!

The staff and residents are very friendly. The facility and grounds are immaculate and well maintained. The food is delicious! I love it here.

I was impressed with the friendly staff, cleanliness of the facility and all the activities the residents can be a part of. My spouse loves our dog and she would be allowed to visit.

This place is awesome. We had the best experience ever with [name removed]. She showed us several rooms and explained everything to us. This place is beautiful. If I was older, I would live here in a heartbeat. This is definitely on top of our list to put our mother when she is ready.

I work in the senior care industry, over the past 15 years I have provided care for people in different facilities, hospitals and private homes. I see a lot of people as I go through my days, some not as helpful/nice as I would like. So when I do see someone exceptional it makes a impression. One such someone is a young man named [name removed]. You will find [name removed] in the dining room serving our seniors. I have witnessed [name removed] calmly talking a senior “down” from a meltdown, knelling beside her listening, reassuring her that he will take care of her concerns, I’ve seen him ask someone how they are and when they responded they were not feeling well he offered them a chair, telling them that he would get their food, asking if they let their doctor know they were having a problem, etc. How many young people would do that? Not many! A very impressive young man!

This is a new facility, but initial impression is very good. I placed my father in law here. They were very good at meeting my requests. I stayed with my father in law over a week's period and was with him in the facility during the day. I got to see the daily routine and how the staff interacted with the residents. I was very impressed. I got to talk to a number of residents who had been at the facility for 2 or 3 months and they spoke highly of the facility. I would recommend you give it strong consideration for placement of your loved ones. I ate a number of meals there, and the food preparation is very good.
