Spectrum Retirement

I really do not have that much feedback as far as activities go, because my loved one really wasn't able to participate in them. However, the staff did a good job in trying to get her up and out of her room, and around the other residents. Although it was a relatively short stay, we really could not have asked for a better place!

It's such a nice place! We are so happy with it! We went and looked at about three other places in the area, and this was the one! They had availability when we needed it, and we are all so happy with it! We are very impressed with how clean it is, and the food is really good! The staff are all very friendly and helpful and just right on it! If we have any questions, they are there! They have both independent living and assisted living! We are just so happy!

Mom really likes it here! The folks here really are wonderful, friendly, and caring. I am very confident in their skills and overall competence. The move-in was warm and welcoming, and the surroundings are beautiful.

This place is nice. The prices are reasonable. The amenities are great. The management team was professional and very helpful. Unfortunately I did not lease a place for my mom here but I regret I did not chose them. Check this place out it is great.

LOVED IT! This place will also take my dad's 70 pound greyhound. They have windows of time for meals, not one set time. Also, there is a ground floor unit where they will fence in a bit of grass for my dad's dog to have an area right outside his door. It's perfect in every way! I have already made a deposit to hold the room I liked best there.

We recently moved my 90 year old mother into Lincoln Meadows from Mesa, AZ where she was living in her own home in a very active Senior community. She had tons of friends and was very happy. Fortunately for we children she knew she needed to be closer to us and was ready to make the move. We only looked at one place because she instantly knew Lincoln Meadowd was the right place for her. She has been there not quite two months and couldn't be happier! Yesterday she had someone come to her apartment to give her a facial and she takes full advantage of the little beauty shop. They offer a full spectrum of activities, both in house and out, and she takes full advantage of most all of them. The cleaning service is just right as she has trouble making her bed and vacuuming. The food plan is well thought out and allows her many choices regarding how and when she eats. We particularly like having her within one half our of us which affords frequent visits by the family in the area. She has enjoyed the many acquaintances she has made and is loving it at Lincoln Meadows.

We looked into this community when we were searching for options for our loved one. We were impressed by what we saw during our tour, and this was one of the four that we were considering. It was a nice looking community, everyone was friendly, and the residents looked happy. We ended up going with another one of the options due to the pricing and location being slightly more convenient.

It is a lovely, well planned facility, but it is just beginning to fill up for memory care and there were only two residents. Since we are looking for respite care, we decided to chose a place that had more residents for the activities.

This was one of the locations we looked at when helping my Uncle look into senior living. It was our personal favorite, although not the one my Uncle ended up selecting, as it was not as conveniently for family visits. This place seems to cater to a more active senior crowd, the apartments are a nice size and have full kitchens. It was definitely the one I would choose for my husband and myself if we were looking for senior living.

Mom at 95 lived at home alone. She started experiencing multiple falls. I knew her mind was still very alert and she was not ready for a "HOME." The rest of the family was feeling that she could not stay home alone. I came in committed to helping Mom do what she wanted to do. I thought that would mean bringing supports into her home. We explored several alternatives in the area and I could tell Mom was getting depressed with the prospect of being moved into a place for "Old People" - she doesn't see herself in that category. Then by chance we visited "The Homestead". When we drove up Mom said, "we don't need to go in there, that's too fancy and I could never afford it." We went in, she was impressed, she discovered that the cost was no more than the other places we had visited and the energy and ambiance was attractive. She's doing well at The Homestead.

Beautiful, safe, clean, bright. Walk to apt. Not very far. IS mom' usual community. NO VACANCIES.

Recently, I moved my Mom into The Homestead. Although everything always looks great on the tour, you can't really be certain until you've actually experienced a place like this. Gladly, The Homestead is EVERYTHING they say it is and a WHOLE LOT MORE! The entire staff is friendly and helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure my Mom is happy, safe and comfortable. This was the best move I could have possibly made for my Mom. In fact, it was so good that my wife's parents recently moved in and absolutely love it. Guess where my wife and I will be when the time comes!?!

Two years ago, it was no longer possible for Mom to live along in her home...we began the search for a facility near my home. In my career as a music therapist, I worked in a hospital geriatric psych unit, special education in the public school system, and several geriatric care facilities. I knew what I was looking for in a place for Mom and The Homestead has met or exceeded ALL of my expectations. The facility is clean...EVERY time I visit. The staff is friendly, caring, and knowledgeable about the needs of the geriatric resident. The dining staff is courteous and prompt. The menu selection is nutritious, flavorful, and varied to please all residents. Mom has her own apartment with her own furniture and even got to bring Miss Kitty along to the Homestead...something I did NOT find to be an option at the other facilities we visited. Although The Homestead is described as an "independent living" facility, additional nursing service is available and can be purchased as needed...from medication reminders to 24-hour care. The nursing staff is well-trained and provides top notch care for Mom. Thanks to God, The Homestead, and Mom & Dad's careful financial planning...she'll be able to spend the rest of her life in a safe and comfortable "home".

My brother and I (and mom) find the staff to be truly caring, supportive, attentive and responsive. The facility is top-notch, bright, clean and well maintained. This is the first place where mom has lived that she says the food is good (coming from her, that's no faint praise). Westview is not one of those giant facilities that overwhelm the resident. The smaller environment adds to the homeyness and encourages mom to venture out. It is small enough that everyone knows each other, yet large enough to provide plenty of activity and socialization. The physical therapy opportunity is outstanding, and the exercise equipment is first-class. The administrative staff was exceptionally helpful is getting us through the admission process and the move-in. The family, including mom, highly recommend Westview of Ellisville Assisted Living.

When touring Three Oaks Assisted Living it is obvious that the amenities and activities offered are fantastic. The staff members, nicknamed endearingly by the residents as the "Blue Angels", a testament to their compassionate sprit and blue uniforms, is just one example of the gratitude displayed due to their exceptional care. The community offers Assisted Living and Memory Care programing that is tailored to each residents individual hobbies, likes and abilities. I think it is wonderful that this community has become a resource for local seniors.

Of course everything is brand new. Just beautiful. Residents were out and about participating. Liked that very much.

I especially like how friendly and helpful all the people have been. The food is pretty good. I've eaten there a few times. This was the only one that was level 2 assisted living. We liked that it had a lot of energetic looking people. While we were there a resident came out of the dining room to tell us how much he liked living there. That's a big endorsement to have a current resident come up to you on their own. My dad had gone to an ice cream social and bingo so he's done a little bit but for the most part he doesn't really participate in the activities so I don't know much about them. It's off the main drag enough that I never would have known it was back there. It's only been open for about a year and it's just been so perfect. I've recommended it to others.
