Our cousin is getting excellent care and overall is very safe and secure. Has been a great experience and staff and everyone there has been fantastic.

The crew that you have a Storypoint are just incredible! All the concerna and loving care for my parents has meant so much to the entire family - throughout this past year, just not the last month or so while my dad has been sick. Thank you form the bottom of my heart!

After I was released from the hopstial in 2021 my daughter introduced me to this elder care facility. StoryPoint is a very clean up to date facility that has provided me the opportunity to live my last years in a community of elderly folks with similar situations that provide ALL of my daily activities, as well as personal and medical needs.

My mother spent the last 6.5 years of her life at IV-White Lake. Through all the ups and downs of her dementia (including during the pandemic) the staff were patient and kind with her. I could not have cared for my mom without them. To quote her, she was truly "in the right place". Even on her worst days she knew her "people" were taking care of her. There are not enough words or gestures to thank everyone who touched our lives.

I toured Glen Abbey and it was our second choice. The rooms were large and they give a lot of personal care to their patients. I think that they are trying to stay on the smaller side, and that made me happy. I liked that they didn't have so many patients because I thought they'd have more personalized care. We did put a deposit down; we thought it was a choice that we could live with, but it was not the perfect choice. They were very kind and accommodating. They said they'd hold a room for 30 days and they really wanted to make it work if we chose them. They weren't unkind when we called to let them know that we were able to get in somewhere else. The community is very nice. All upfront when you walk in, the patients eat right in the room with all the natural sunlight, it looks like a little café. They also have small memory care unit attached. Again, they were very kind and the place looked very good. However, I think they wanted to send my mom to memory care right away and I didn't think she was ready for that. We chose another community because our number one choice worked out.

Our family is very happy with the care my aunt, [name removed], has received at StoryPoimt. Covington Meadows told us she was dieing and the care was much to be desired. We moved her to StoryPoimt and she started eating, gaining weight and walking again. What a big change. Thank you.

Terrific place to work. All staff is absolutely amazing and have servant hearts. Residents are simply wonderful and I enjoy spending time with them all each and every day. When you walk in the door it is hard to ignore the joyous atmosphere that surrounds the community.

StoryPoint is an exception to the rule when it comes to senior housing. It’s a gorgeous, very clean facility with a 5 Star hotel feel. The food is awesome, staff very friendly, sincere yet professional. I wish I would have found my place at StoryPoint years ago.

StoryPoint was quite impressive, but the care plan didn't have multiple levels. Essentially, it was too much care for us at this stage.

The nurses and caregivers provide exceptional care.

I couldn’t ask for a better community to have my parents in. Wonderful staff, always clean and bright environment, lots of activities for the residents…. Happy hours, crafts, exercise classes, cooking classes. You can fill a full day with all the activities offered. The meals are delicious and so are the desserts. Most important there is always help nearby if you need it. Very happy!

They're really excellent at communicating with the family; they're also really invested in the care of my father. They think of things that I wouldn't. You'd think that that would come naturally to people who do it professionally, but this is his 5th year in an assisted living community - he's now in memory care. Where he was previously that really wasn't happening at all. If there's something I need to deal with, they'll text me and ask me. For example: restocking personal items, like his razors. Those reminders are a huge relief and are very helpful. They also engage him in activities, rather than asking and going away if he says no. They've learned what and how to deal with him and his proclivities. They've learned that when he says "no", which type of "no" it is. And dependent on that "no", they'll still take him to activities and talk with him. Some of their activities include movies and concerts. But they also have pastimes like making & drawing things, going outside, and even bocce ball. I haven't physically been there when they're doing activities, but I've seen photos. They interact with him, whereas his previous community did not. Before, he was spending 90% of his time sitting in his room. At his last community, he liked to sit in the dining room which was apart of a bigger communal space. He'd often hangout after meals to drink a cup of coffee and observe things. They would discourage him from doing that, and preferred that he sit in his room as opposed to frequenting those areas. He wanted to participate in social activities and that was his way of doing so. Here at Provision Living, he sits in the dining room / communal areas and they allow him to do just that - in addition to getting him involved in activities. So now he spends 90% of his time outside of his room. Sometimes its hard to get ahold of him, which I think is fantastic. [name removed], the director is very amazing, and so is the RN [name removed], she's great as well. The community itself is really handsome and good looking. It's new and they have nice art pieces hanging up. It's kind of reminiscent of a nice timeshare, oftentimes that's where my dad thinks he is. It doesn't have a facility-like feel, it's like a vacation home. For example: he thinks the dining room is a restaurant. Provision Living at St. Joseph is a great nice-looking place, and they engage my father on a personal level.

I've seen so many places that were absolutely disgusting. But this place has exceeded all of our expectations. I like everything overall, including how friendly and accommodating the staff are. There are residents sitting in the lobby talking with each other all hours of the day. I've never seen the residents all congregating and communicating with each other so much anywhere else. You never see people just sleeping in a wheelchair. The care has been phenomenal. At other places, my mom would tell me when someone hurt her while helping her, and I have heard no negative comments from her here. No one is rough - they're all very nice, gentle, and patient with her. And they do things the way she wants them to be done.

The staff are very accommodating and have been a huge help with the medications. They have a group exercise class everyday from 1030-1130 and my parents love that, they said everyone goes to it. They do tons of outings as well but they have not gone on any of those yet. I would recommend Grand Village to others looking.

I have lived here for about 1.5 years and I have absolutely no complaints. I plan to spend the rest of my life here as I have enough money. Alll staff is very friendly and capable, from Executive Director to the teenage servers. The food is delicious and varies. Pets are welcome. Lots of outings each week.

So happy to have found Independence Village of Waukee. They have a very caring staff who likes to help if needed. There are many planned activities, if you wish to participate. It is located around grocery stores, food etc... They offer many extras, like a garage and storage.

The community has been receptive to requests from the family no matter how big or small. They are cooperative with the family in caring for our loved one. The food and activities are the best. There are choices for meals for the residents. The communication with the family is very good.

This an extremely "great place" to live-all employees are very helpful and friendly! The staff is always available to assist or answer questions you may have... The maintenance staff is very helpful to any problems you may have in your apartment.

The staff and the feeling of the facility makes it feel as close to home and among friends as it can be. [name removed] and the staff always have an open ear and smiling face. Nobody is a stranger at Glen Abbey. Activities to involve residents are fun and entertaining…never dull!

I love the village. Everyone is super nice and I have many friends. I have been here for 3 months, and the staff has been very pleasant, proffessional and welcoming.
