When looking for a place to move my mom, we toured Devonshire. From the first visit, we felt at home. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They were very understanding of my mom’s feelings about moving. They made her feel welcome from day one. She is very happy there. I am happy she is there because I feel like they really care.

Very helpful in showing you around and explaining everything they have to offer For their residents.

Bayfield Assisted Living/Memory is a beautiful facility with an excellent care staff to match. The care staff gives excellent care to the residents and treats them with dignity and respect. There are activities all day long for the residents to participate in from ice cream socials to bingo. I know when it’s time for me to look for a place for my mom, Bayfield Assisted Living/Memory will be the first place that we will visit

Bayfield staff does so much to engage it’s residents in day to day activities and events. They truly make the residents feel like family.

My husband has only lived here for the past two months and I am very pleased with the attention he receives-both socially and on the care given on a daily basis.

We chose Riley's Grove because is was a brand new facility that is very convenient to me. My son has an extra large suite and it is efficient and very nice. I would give the activities above a 5 if I could, they have a ton going on. Everybody is so friendly and the staff are great. We are very well pleased and would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

My Mom has lived at Independence Village of Pella in Pella IA for six years. We are just as happy with the village today as we were when she moved into it. Her apartment has a very nice floor plan and with her personal stuff in the apartment, it is beautiful. The staff is professional yet very personable, they are very much just like family. The building is well kept with two lovely living rooms, a pretty dining room, a theatre, family room and game room most people would love to have in their homes. A variety of activities are offered inside the village along with fun outings that help build relationships. After six years I still believe this is a GREAT place to live.

There are not enough words or time to explain what a blessing Maple Lake has been to our family. We moved my Dad in January 2020. From the very beginning, the staff, ([name removed],[name removed], [name removed]+ everyone else) and Administration [name removed] have all been truly amazing. As soon as we moved him in, they wanted to learn about my dad - his likes, dislikes, patterns ...... including his extreme love of coffee. When Covid hit, [name removed]and her team were on top of it. From wearing masks, lockdowns, opening back up, to lockdown again ...... they were in constant communication with us and did the best they could to make sure families could stay connected. The staff has done an incredible job keeping my dad comfortable and filled with coffee, as his dementia has worsened. Knowing my dad is safe and well cared for is priceless.

From the moment we stepped into Devonshire, we were impressed with the area. We were impressed with the cleanliness, spaciousness and efficiency that went into the design of the apartments and the surroundings The front porch, back patio,and the extra storage area are added bonuses ! Meals (displayed monthly) are varied and well made. She has access to a lovely dining area, library/game area and T.V. downstairs should she choose to meet with others.. The bi-weekly cleaning services gives all of us peace of mind that her floors and bathroom will be cleaned, giving us more time to visit with HER! Much care has been taken to assure all the residents have delightful social events.: An Elvis impersonator, a magician, and a pianist are just a few of the “acts” she has seen and she has only been at Devonshire for 3 months!!! We are anxious to see what else Devonshire has to offer, but after being here a short time, it really feels like “home” to Mom and to us.

The staff has virtually adopted Mom, taken her as one of their own. The level of care and attention is quite impressive!

I can only say terrific things about Devonshire and all staff. They are extremely helpful, friendly and attentive. The facilities are maintained and clean. All staff members go out of their way to make everyone feel a part of one big family. I am only giving two items below a 4 star rating because since covid hit, things have not been easy to maintain all. But, there is still more to do than many other places.n I give them a 5 star rating.

The community is clean and well maintained, there seems to be sufficient activities the complaints that I hear from my family members who are residents are about food and the high turn over and lack of staff. The issue with the food is that it is unappealing in taste.

I was not expecting to need the services of assisted living for several more years for my parent(s). As my family’s circumstances changed, and our needs became more immediate, I was impressed and comforted by the staff at Oliver Woods. I never felt pressured or rushed. I never felt that I was being sold anything. The staff guided me, coached me, and gave me support while I worked through a very difficult situation. While everyone is over-stressed, over-worked, and under-staffed, I have found the employees to be helpful, patient, and friendly. My mother is comfortable and enjoys the staff and the facility! It’s the PEOPLE that make the place special.

This was a very nice community and it was a really good tour.

My Mom has been there for 2 1/2 years now. She transitioned from assisted living to the memory care unit as her dementia has progressed. The staff has been very helpful and caring from day 1. A very nice, bright, and clean facility with awesome employees. The chefs do a great job on the meals as well. Just a great place all around!!

It's been a good experience, no problems so far. They're a little short-staffed, but the staff that are there do a good job and do the best they can. I haven't heard any complaints from Mom about the food. And they seem to have a fair amount of activities planned.

I would like to start by saying the staff is loving and kind. They take remarkable care of the residents which includes my mother. The facility is well managed and is always clean. It is refreshing to walk into the facility that is always decorated to the season changes and holidays. My mother thanks me everyday for having such a wonderful place to call home. That wasn't easy for her because she had lived in the same place for 78 years. The staff made the move for my mom so very easy and right from the beginning she called it home (over three years now). It is so very peaceful and caring. Maple Lake Assisted Living is driven by passion, love and grace. The passion for excellent care starts with their administration director, activity director (amazing), quality care director and caregivers. They are all engaged with their residents. They know them as well as their family own members. Make Lake is amazing and so very special to me because they are there when I can't be!
