The staff is so very friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure you'll have everything you need.! I can't recommend Sunrise of East Brunswick enough. I also can't recommend A Place for Mom enough!!!

It's a very socially active facility, lots going on for entertainment, learning, playing, chatting. The communal areas are full of residents hanging out, taking excursions, dining

What we like the most about Sunrise of Marlboro is that they are a very well run facility. Nice , helpful staff throughout. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

5 on all. My mom really likes it here. She likes the facility itself, the people who work here, [name removed] is wonderful as the administrator (so very helpful and sweet) she likes the other residents and the food. The only concern I have is her hygiene. She has a hard time cleaning herself after she stools and I wonder if she is getting her showers twice a week. I have showered her myself especially to wash her hair.

Sunrise was the best. All of the staff were amazing, friendly, caring, and helpful. Anyone of the staff would stop what they were doing to assist with anything my Mom needed. I felt Mom was safe and well cared for. Even though I visited several times a week. The nurse, PT,OT, or the speech therapist would call me to inform me of my mom's progress or changes in her health When she was not feeling well she was checked in on frequently. My mom received a wonderful care during her stay at Sunrise

I wouldn't accept a placement in the older (south) residence. It's shabby and needful for updating. Comments about the South residence: plenty of friendly, helpful staff, cheerful sunroom and outdoor spaces, smaller rooms, minimal community area, administrative staff is very difficult to communicate with because they are rarely there and return calls sporadically. After 3 months in the Westminster facility our friends care level necessitated Memory Care. At the time, Westminster had no Memory Care beds available.

My uncle has been a resident for over a year. He loves everything about sunrise. The employees are very attentive and always help residents as well as family members.

Everyone was so kind and helpful, from start to finish. The room size was adequate and the activities were wonderful. There is always something to do.

The staff. Very clean home like setting popcorn. Very caring excellent staff.

My first impression was great. The staff are kind and caring. I gathered a lot of resources. They even helped with Veterans benefits. Highly recommend!

All the staff is aware of our dad's needs and restrictions. From the culinary director to the recreation coordinator. The facility itself is spotless, modern and inviting. Everyone knows my dad by name, us as well. It's a nice intimate setting with plenty of activities and chances for socialization. Smaller, more personal attention. Less residents. Attentive staff, easily accessible and responsive. The director gave us and all the families her personal cell phone number. Which we have had to use for emergencies and late night questions. We met with the chef personally and she alters and adjusts my dad's ordering to suit his diabetic and cardiac needs.

We are pleased with everything. The staff is warm and welcoming. This was the first facility I walked in and everyone was happy and positive We are happy with everything it offered too such as the 2 meals and rehab. It's easy and flexible. The price point is good as well.

I have been blessed to be deeply connected to this community for a decade+ ~ first, as the Activities Director (6 yrs) and now as a volunteer. Why this long? Because this beautiful community is filled with: *WARMTH* ~ *LOVE* ~ a sense of *FAMILY* ~ and has inspired super *STRONG FRIENDSHIPS* (between residents, between team members, and with family members). The Executive Director personifies all of those qualities; she has grown through the Sunrise ranks over the years with amazing mentors, and is a super positive leader! Activities abound; food is excellent; and the physical facility is warm and welcoming from the moment you set foot in the lovely lobby with the adjacent cozy living room and gathering spot ("the Bistro"). I walked in 10 years ago and have never left. I was *Home* ~ and so will be your Mother, Father, sibling and/or self. PLEASE go visit! You will be soooo glad you did. (Tell them " [name removed]" sent you!!)

Sunrise is a fantastic place!! I want to live there when it's time!! Sunrise is home! From the comfy sitting nooks to the seasonal decor it feels like home!! The staff is excellent and they all have become family not only to my mom but to me. [name removed] and [name removed] door is always open if your love one is having a bad day!! [name removed] and all the activity people are so fun!! From bingo, movies, exercise classes and sing a longs there is always something to do...if you want!! The daily food is SO GOOD and the variety is amazing!! There is a something for everyone!! Another thing Sunrise is exceptional at is monthly brunches!They sure know how to throw a party!! From the food and cocktails to the entertainment, every party that we have experienced has been amazing!! I especially loved the Luau this past summer!! The fire dancer and hula dancer were so much fun!!! Sunrise makes family gatherings so special!! My mom has lived at the Sunrise of Bloomingdale for a little over a year. I have nothing but good things to say!! Her caregivers are patient and so kind! We are grateful to have this Sunrise community so close to our home!!

My experience with Sunrise has been overwhelmingly positive, and the help of A Place for Mom was absolutely crucial. A little background: My father has Alzheimer's disease and has been aware and in treatment. He received the news that his medication would no longer help and that in the upcoming year, he would decline noticeably. He was so great about the news, but still resisted the idea of Assisted Living. My brother and I visited different facilities (with the help of A Place for Mom) and narrowed the choices down to two different but beautiful facilities. (The recommendation to visit without parents first is really important; you want to make sure that you take them to a place they would like to visit -- not live, but visit.) My dad chose Sunrise. He liked the way they had small cafes, instead of a big dining hall. He liked the facility. He really liked the people who were warm and welcoming. We took dad and his wife for a visit. We stayed for lunch, and I really appreciate that we were seated with other residents (Sunrise thoughtfully organizes meal seatings to welcome and connect residents.) Dad enjoyed talking with people and decided that he felt "very comfortable" planning to go to Sunrise. The move came earlier than expected. Sunrise was great about handling the transition. Dad was kept active and busy with a schedule he could handle. Sunrise is wonderful about encouraging residents to participate, but allowing them the freedom to choose if they want a lazy/quiet day. All the staff quickly got to know Dad and he felt wonderful and seen. He always talks about how he is well-cared for. He loves to tell me stories about the staff, and he really appreciates the people. He knows that the staff is watching out for him -- and when I see a new staff person, he always has something to say about how sweet they are: "Everyone is wonderful, but she is just SO nice!" So he is happy and so are we. Sunrise was wonderful to work with in every way. We had a few delays moving Dad, but they were supportive and understanding in every way. It was way above and beyond anything I expected and it shows the way they approach the care for their residents. All my interactions are great -- they are true partners, which is exactly what we were hoping for. If there is a problem, I can call, text, whatever, and receive a response quickly. After almost a year of worrying about Dad in his house and his decline, Sunrise allowed me to sleep well at night. He is safe, well-cared for, and appreciated -- truly part of the community. One last story: Dad had been at Sunrise for about 8 weeks when he told me about a death in the community and how profound it was for the staff. He noticed one staff member in tears and wanted to reassure her that she should feel open to cry -- that it showed her appreciation of the resident who had passed. But Dad also said he felt connected to the man even though he didn't know him. He appreciated being in a place where there were real friendships and love. We are so grateful for Sunrise at Plymouth Beach.

The people are caring and compassionate. Follow-up is very good as well. We would for sure recommend Sunrise of Edina to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

They are very professional and treat your family like one of their own loved ones could not recommend them more. It has a very home like environment as soon as you walk in the door you see a lot of happy people sitting and talking or walking through the facility. It's a very active place full of life and energy.

We got several calls after looking into options and it was overwhelming. The sales girl called every few weeks to see if we were ready to talk so we finally bit the bullet and visited. My mom lit up when a welcome sign was waiting for her at the front desk and we were even offered to stay for a meal. It was our first visit and we need to look no further. [name removed] gave us such peace of mind that we know where we are going when we're ready to move her.

Sunrise at Five Forks has been an absolute blessing for our family! The care team is incredibly compassionate and attentive, truly knowing and valuing my mom as an individual. Over time, they have become more than caregivers—they have become like family, treating her with the same love, patience, and kindness we would. The facility is always clean, the leadership team is incredibly supportive and communicative, and the entire staff goes above and beyond to create a warm, home-like environment. Knowing she is in such capable and caring hands gives us incredible peace of mind, and we are so grateful for the exceptional care they provide! Words cannot fully express our gratitude for the incredible care my mom receives at Sunrise at Five Forks. The combination of deeply personalized attention, a loving and dedicated team, a beautifully maintained environment, and strong leadership makes this a truly exceptional place. I wholeheartedly recommend Sunrise at Five Forks!!

Took my Mom to visit her lifelong friend at Sunrise of Mill Basin and was so pleasantly surprised not only by how pleasant the building is (inside and out) but by the front desk person ([name removed]). [name removed]could not be more lovely. Helpful. Accommodating. Warm. Genuine. Clearly likes people. Her interaction with me and how everyone walking past her so friendly greeted her speaks volumes. It’s wonderful to know that kind people do exist and that they've chosen to work where their kindness can be most appreciated… The elderly can be vulnerable to all sorts and my Mom and I are so happy to know that Mill [name removed]hires the best!
