Sunrise Senior Living

Our experience with Sunrise of Montgomery Village has been very good so far. Based on the experience we have had, we would recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

We are quite pleased with our decision to move from our McLean house that we lived in for 48 years to McLean Village Sunrise. We have met interesting and smart people and have friends who want to come and see this facility with the possibility of applying for residence here.

Sunrise of ChevyChase is great home for your family member. They truly care for your loved one. And they care for you too. Sunrise of Chevy Chase truly provides piece of mind and relief when you have to travel.

I have one parent in memory care and another in an independent room, and Sunrise of CC has been great for both. The nursing staff is extremely attentive and let's me know any time there is the slightest concern. Residents are treated with the utmost kindness and respect. The activities are fun and accommodate a wide range of interests. You can tell immediately upon entering that everyone in the community is generally happy.

I am well taken care of and the facility is wonderful the cleanliness is great sometimes you need to find the right activities of what you want to do and to meet the people you want to spend time with but I have met some nice people here. It is hard when you are old and when you are in a new place but I have met some nice people and made new friends. There is a good choice of things to do for activities and you can keep busy if you want to keep busy or keep to yourself and read the paper or read a book. I particularly like the walking club and enjoy walking every morning and met another resident through this and have become friends. The food is excellent here!

We moved my mother from Independent Living in Denver to Assisted Living at Sunrise in late [date removed]. The arrangements and move were very smooth. [name removed] was a wonderful support and Isaac is terrific as well. All the staff are friendly and kind and get to know all the residents and their likes and needs. My mother feels so welcomed and cared for. She is blessed with a corner apartment with a view of the flatirons! There are lots of windows and bright light!! The food is really good and she is gaining weight (she is a tiny 96 year old)! [name removed], the Activities Coordinator is a gift! She connects with everyone and creates activities inspired by residents. She has been so lovely with my mom (who says she doesn’t like activities but has so much fun!) All in all, I feel so grateful for everyone at Sunrise and all they do for residents!

What our family likes the most about the community is the friendliness is superb. The activities are varied, from chair exercise to Bingo, to Bowling Club and Environmental Club. The Care Team is attentive and friendly. The facility is lovely. I call it The Senior Resort

This place is gorgeous on the out side and very nice, clean on the inside. My father says the food is great compared to other places. Everyone there is very nice and helpful. They do a lot of activities with the people who stay here.

My loved one was previously a resident at Sunrise of Mission Viejo for a respite stay. The staff was very nice and the move in and out process was easy. It is an easy place to come and go and see your family member. I would definitely recommend this place and would use them again.

Great community and great food and great activities. The people are all amazing.

This is a fabulous warm home with incredibly positive energy and so much to do. Our family member felt right at home and just one day.

Sunrise is a lovely place and has been amazing for me. They are constantly cleaning. The activities offered are nice. The food is excellent. Since moving from my previous facility, I have only had one seizure. This is by far the best experience I have had.

We chose Sunrise because while our mother is still able to live independently, we know she'll need Memory Care down the road. We waited for McLean Village to open because the facility would be new and have additional amenities. While there've been some new-ness hiccups, we've been so pleased with how genuinely caring and compassionate the staff have been. They all know our mom by name, what she enjoys doing, and how best to engage her. They also know *us,* and have made sure to include and engage with us. It is very reassuring knowing she's looked after while still maintaining her independence. We've also said repeatedly - and only half-jokingly - that we look forward to the day we can all move in and enjoy all the activities, amenities - and daily happy hours!

I help my aunt to transition from her home to Sunrise Senior Living with the help of [name removed] from the management team there. [name removed] is extremely caring, professional, knowledgeable and has excellent communication skills. She took time to get to know my aunt as a resident by going to her room to check on her, thereby, addressing any concerns she had to make her comfortable. The entire team at Sunrise Senior Living at Mt. Vernon is friendly and all seems to work together as a team to benefit the resident. They offer many social activities to meet outings for the residents as well. My aunt experienced a challenge that required her to get physical outside the center and Sadia Ali went to see her and brought her a very nice blanket. It made my aunt feel so loved. Lastly, Sunrise works very closely with Mt. Vernon Hospital, especially with their physical therapy program. I highly recommend this facility to to clients selecting a special place to put their love ones.

, I would highly recommend Sunrise Babylon. The people at Sunrise welcomed her and were very patient with her. She has resolved now to accept this lovely place as her new home, and she seems content once again. My mom needs a lot of care in general, and they are very good with her and her needs.
