Our Mom has been living at Dogwood Forest in the memory care building for almost a year and a half. Prior to moving to Dogwood, she lived in another community which did not meet her needs. Dogwood goes above and beyond. The facility is immaculate, the food is plentiful and nutritious and the staff does care about the residents. Our Mom has thrived at Dogwood. Memory care is a specialized area of care and the staff understands these special resident’s needs. We are very pleased with our decision to move our Mom to Dogwood Forest.

If you are looking for an Assisted Living facility for a loved one, look no further. My Mom has been a resident at Dogwood Forest of Acworth since the end of September. There is such a comfort and peace in knowing that she is being well taken care of and looked after. She continues to be active as there is always something scheduled during the day along with special occasion gatherings. She has made many new friends since moving in. The compassion and care that is evident in all those on staff is what separates this facility from the rest.

Our loved one is happy with the preparation of the meals but the meals are very repetitious so we do wish they would offer more of a variety. This community is around a lot of things which is nice, close by stores and in a neighborhood setting. We do feel it is more expensive then other communities in the area.

I needed to find a place for my mother and father. So I called Barrington and told them about my mom having trouble getting out of bed. They did their best to get my mother into the place. They did a great job in helping me get my parents placed, everyone is very friendly and helpful!! This is a great place to live.

My father has been a resident at Barrington for 5 months ad he's received excellent attention and care by the staff. [Name removed] was over Sales contracts and went above and beyond to welcome him into Barrington. [Name removed], LPN is always aware of his changing health needs and he developed a sense of faith in her skills and judgement. The caregivers take care of him as he is their family.

I am a resident at this facility. I enjoy living here. It is a happy environment and the people that live here are also happy. The employees that work treat the residents with respect and kindness. The food is prepared here for 3 meals a day and is very tasty and served with a smile.
