Dogwood forest is an amazing place . [name removed] is definitely an asset to this organization. The facility is so clean , the staff is amazing and the occupants looked happy and satisfied. The organization of this facility is perfect . [name removed] was attentive to my every need and also anticipated my needs . I toured the facility while looking fir my Mother an assisted living facility. I would highly recommend this place

The community is very neat and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. They do a great job taking care of my loved one and the food and activities are great also. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

Food is excellent. Waiters and waitresses very good. Staff is helpful and thoughtful. Facility is clean. I like having a kitchen and washer and dryer. We are glad to have twice the size we have had for the last two years. So glad we moved here.

My husband and I moved into over 4th floor apartments on [date removed]. We've met some great residents who are retired professionals, just as we are. The food we are served is delicious; the amenities more than meet our needs wants, and the entire staff is friendly and professional.

I would tell others that the community is for an active and healthier individual. There is an extra cost for additional care to watch over your loved one, for dietary restrictions and medical needs. They are patient about transitioning of loved ones, and getting our loved ones items out of the community.

We toured this community and the tour was very good. They answered all of our questions and were very informative. They were very accommodating and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the community was just not in our price range

They're very clean, unbelievably so. Whenever a resident checks out, they rip up the carpet, fumigate the room, and repaint it. I get a report every week of all of the activities my loved one is attending. Whenever I speak to her, she's 100% happy. I get reports and phone calls from the medical staff on a regular basis. Billing has been glitch-free. Everything has been smooth as silk, and I'm over the moon. The community has sunny, open spaces, with lots of light that comes in. She loves the food. Her only complaint is that some of her neighbors just aren't there. But there's memory care just across the way if she ever needs that down the road, which is nice. From day one, we've gotten tremendous respect and attention from the folks at Barrington Terrace. This place just hits the points on everything. They've been amazing. I've seen numerous communities in different places, and this place is such a wonderful place in comparison.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. It is a peaceful community and has nice surroundings. The staff are nice to work with.

I loved Arbor Terrace. The facility is beautiful and it is in a great location. The staff members were all so friendly during my tour. It is more expensive but it seems like it would be worth it. We were actually on the waiting list and had put a deposit down.

This community makes their residents feel at home from the first day. My family is pleased with the communications, not only with the residents, but also with the family members.

The decision to move my mother to the Memory Care at Dogwood Forest has been one of the best decisions our family has made regarding my mother’s care. I had visited multiple communities prior to selecting Dogwood Forest. From the moment I walked into Dogwood Forest for a tour with [name removed], the Sales Director, I knew I had found the right place for our mom. The decision to place your loved one in memory care is not an easy one, and Lori made us feel like family from the first visit. She explained every step of the process and was there for us to make my mother’s transition easy and smooth. The property is beautiful, welcoming, exceptionally clean and well maintained. Every staff member we have encountered is attentive and goes above and beyond to make residents feel at home. The outings and daily activities keep residents safe, engaged and entertained. We are so blessed to have discovered Dogwood Forest, and feel our mom is safe and very well cared for at this community.

Everyone was extremely friendly and provided the information needed. We are still in the discussion phase with my mom as the cost is higher than she would like to spend

I would tell others that it is definitely a top three choice for your family. The appearance doesn't appear to be a nursing home, it appears to be more of apartment living. The staff take care of the residents and it is great.

I highly recommend this community for independent and assisted living to others based on my experience. The staff was wonderful, kind, and helpful. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful also.

We chose Arbor Terrace because of the location of the facility, it puts us closer to our family which is great for us. They do have a very good variety of activities provided for residents. They also offer church services on Sundays, and the gentleman who does them is awesome. The engagement staff is all young, which is amazing. They bring the youth and energy with them, and all the residents enjoy that. I would recommend to others looking and already have.

This was one of my favorites. It was new, and they allowed for two people in one room, which could be a plus. Although it could be a minus too. But I thought it could be a plus for my loved one. They seemed to have more caregivers in their memory care unit than I had seen at other ones. The staff were very friendly. The tour was absolutely outstanding, and I saw what I wanted to see. I ended up opting for home care instead, just based on my personal opinion about these types of facilities. You want your loved one to be cared for and treated the same or better than you would treat them. Sometimes as their family member, you get frustrated. You can take things personally and just need a break. But it's hard to entrust your loved one's care to someone else, especially when it's so expensive. And especially now with the virus, and how hard it has become to keep caregivers staffed. I toured before the virus, but even so, I wanted to hold off on moving my loved one to a community as long as I can.

I have been extremely happy with the care and living arrangements for my mom with dementia. She has been here for over two years and I'm so impressed with not only the engagement of the staff but the upkeep and beauty of the facility. I did a lot of research in advance of my placement and Arbor Terrace has lived up to and beyond my expectations.

Favorite so far! We’ve seen two but want to look around before committing.

We moved my parents into Dogwood Forest about two months ago. My Dad was diagnosed with ALS and my mom needed more help with his care. Dogwood and the staff have been awesome. They are so caring and do everything they can to make my parents feel at home. If there’s something my parents are unhappy with the staff has a sit down with the family to figure out how to improve or make them happy :) My parents were even allowed to bring their beloved Standard Poodle and they welcomed him as well with open arms. Also if I have a problem I text one of the staff and she immediately responds and takes care of whatever we need! I would highly recommend Dogwood Forest

From the first interview through the difficult and challenging task of actually admitting my wife into Holbrook, the staff went above and beyond in making this difficult process as easy as possible. At each stage a staff member carefully explained each step and answered al of our questions. When the day finally arrived that we had to make the transition, after weeks of agonizing whether we had made the right decision, the staff welcomed my wife so effortlessly it relieved the stress our entire family had been feeling as admittance day approached. Now, after six weeks, my wife is thriving in her new home with each day filled with activities focused on associating and gathering, interlaced with activities to help stimulate them both mentally and physically. We could not be more pleased. Now, I will be moving close by into the independent living area and am excitedly awaiting my transition.
