Gentry Park Bloomington is a beautiful new community. It is obvious that the Director of Health Services is very experienced and compassionate. She is right there taking shifts/care of residents when needed and seems to strive to have a good working relationship with families. She (and some of her staff) provide education, listen to concerns, and keep me informed of changes and care plan updates. They have chefs that they are working with to prepare food that meet the different dietary needs of the residents. There is a nicely landscaped small courtyard for the residents to go out, weather permitting, to enjoy the fresh air. There are activities that they can participate in. The only concern that I will add is that there doesn't seem to be a telephone system in place, at least not in the memory-care area. They use walkie-talkies, which seem to make communication a little difficult at times. Overall, my loved one is receiving the care he needs. They allow and encourage his independence while they make sure he takes his medication, and they help him through difficult times. I feel good he is receiving the care that he needs. I would recommend this community.

After seeing other communities and comparing what was needed I felt they were not the best fit for our parent. I did enjoy seeing how they operate and it could be suitable for another family.

Hilliard Assisted Living & Memory Care was one of our top choices of communities. They gave a very nice presentation of the care they would provide for our loved one. The community was beautiful and well-kept. It was very clean and well-maintained. It was bright and upbeat and had a good feel to it. We ended up choosing another facility that was close to our family members and had transportation to outside activities our loved one belonged to.

We liked the atmosphere and cleanliness of Park Place. We toured both the assisted living and memory care areas. Memory care is most appropriate for our moms needs. There is no opening in memory care at this time. [Removed] was helpful in thinking through options for our mom to receive care from Park Place. While it is still on our list to consider we continue our search. We need to include nursing home care in our search.

Right out of the box new, light and airy. Wondered about staffing, saw a receptionist, two kitchen workers and the sales person. They are advertising for an activity director.

We had a wonderful tour the staff were knowledgeable and answered all our questions and we would have considered this community for our dad, except that we would have had to completely furnish his room. The community is new, fresh and clean and everyone was great.

Dad seems to be doing ok since moving there. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is great communication between myself and the staff they let me know if they have any concerns and if I have concerns they listen. The inside of the facility is clean and updated nicely. Dad has lost all sense of taste but seems to like the food when he eats. The community offers activities however dad is not the most social person so he chooses not to participate in anything for very little. I would recommend them to anyone.

We didn't have any problems during our tour of this community, it is a nice place. Everyone was kind, and friendly. The community looked nice, from what we were shown. The staff was polite, and we had a nice tour overall. However they were not able to provide my love one with some of his medical needs.

I have to say mom is doing very well here. We have not experienced any problems or issues. They are providing the care that mom needs. It is a locked facility and the only way for anyone to leave is to see a staff member and they have to enter a code to get out the door which eases my mind that mom can't get out and wander. The staff is right on top of everything, in fact, they are always calling me and giving me updates on mom and her care. The location is perfect for me to visit her. The price for my mothers care is well within my budget range, in fact, it is below what I was paying at a different location which is amazing and not sacrificing moms care level needs.

My tour of this community was a nice one. From what I saw the community looked good, and the facility appeared to be clean. The staff was kind, and informative. My questions were answered. Everyone was very kind to my family,and myself. It was a little to small for our taste overall.

Things are going pretty well for my mother since her move into Transitions. It is a brand new facility and she loves her apartment. My father in law is on the assisted living side and it's going pretty well for him too. I would recommend this community because it is new, clean, and everyone is friendly.

Me and my wife were able to take a tour of this community and we thought that it was very nice. The staff was cordial and they answered everything that we needed. We just thought that there was a different place that suited us better.

I really liked the memory care unit in this community. Outside of each apartment, the residents had little porches with chairs. They could sit out there and interact with each other. The rest of the place was very nice and so were all of the staff members I came in contact with.

The Traditions at Reagan Park was a good community. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The place was kept up and had a fresh look to it. Unfortunately, there were no openings at the time we needed.

My tour of this community went very well. It is a nice looking community. From what I saw everything appeared to be nice and clean. This is a big community, and I felt like it was too big for my mother. I felt she would feel overwhelmed here. Everybody was kind and friendly. This is a good community, but not the one for my mother.

The staff has been great taking care of my sister. They have a an Activities Director and offer a variety of activities to choose from. My sister has enjoyed the fitness room and she has helped out with different programs. My sister gets to select from a variety of menu options which she enjoys. I had the opportunity to try the food and it was very good.

They helped a lot with the move-in process, and have been very helpful all throughout. It is a great community, nice facility, and wonderful staff. My only critique would be the food. It's not terrible, but it is not fresh quality food either.

We visited this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. Meadow Brook was a very nice looking community, but I don't think it would have been a great fit for my loved one. It was a very "fancy" looking place, lots of marble, etc, and I think my loved one would be more comfortable somewhere with a more homey feel. The tour also felt a bit impersonal, they just jumped right into the floor plans and pricing without showing us why it would be a good place to live.

Very lovely facility. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly, food was very good. However, this is really an AL/MC facility that accepts people for independent living. The majority of residents are intended to be either in AL or MC. While the place is gorgeous and the price is right, this is not what we are looking for.

My loved one was here for a brief respite stay, and overall I thought they did a good job. The facility itself was well kept and clean, and the staff all seemed friendly. There were a few areas they could have done better, however. My loved one is a strict vegetarian, and they were not very accommodating when it came to meals, she was mostly served pasta with marinara sauce. They also did not manage to get the television in her room working until a few days into her stay.
