Beautiful and very clean facility. Numerous room varieties and all seemed very spacious with adequate closet space. When closets weren't available the facility provided an Armoire for the room. Most units had full kitchens from the days of independent living. It appears these are being replaced. The facility had a very "Home like" feel.

I can't say enough about this place. I have nothing negative to say. The staff goes out of their way to help mom. The community is perfect it looks like a luxury 5-star hotel. In the lobby, they have a piano for anyone to play and on Fridays, they have happy hour for people to attend. The staff brings the residents out to eat or to go shopping a couple of times a week which is good to get them out. As far as the food goes it's great when they found out my mom was diabetic the cook adjusted his way of cooking for her to accommodate her diet which I thought was great and thoughtful. They have a daily menu which the items change from day to day but if you don't like the options they have a standard menu which doesn't change so you always have a choice. They keep mom very active when she first went there she wasn't very sociable but that is slowly changing she gets involved in the activities. The main reason I chose this community was that it feels like home meaning the staff looks at you and will say hi and you are not ignored.

My mom lived here. They took amazing care of her till she passed. Exceptional and caring staff.

Joshua Springs is the place to be. From the amazing staff to the wonderful residents. Residents get the royal treatment here. The staff works hard to ensure that the residents are treated with love and respect. Life really is better at Joshua Springs. Come see for yourself.

Our mom has lived at Joshua Springs for almost one year. The medical staff provide her with her daily medication. The food is great. She enjoys the atmosphere and activities. My brother and I feel so relieved to have found such a perfect place for her. The staff is wonderful!

My name is [Removed] and I live at Joshua Springs. I think this is just the best place to live. I feel safe and at home here. The building and the staff are wonderful. There are activities like Bingo, Ice Cream Social, Happy Hour and Texas Hold em for those who like to participate. (I do.) The staff works so well together and they interact with us ensuring that we are well cared for as well.

My mother, [Removed], has been living at Joshua Springs for almost a year now. She is a very independent person and planned on living in the home she shared with my father before he died. When we visited Joshua Spring, she loved the atmosphere and decided it was a safer, better place for her to live. When I visit, I especially like the receptionist, [Removed], whose friendliness always makes me feel happy and welcome. Since Mom moved in, she is happy and content. She loves dining each day with friends, and the food and service is excellent. The health care givers are courteous and helpful. [Removed] provide transportation for where she needs to go. It is the perfect place for her.

Joshua Springs has been such an amazing place for our mom. She was one of the first residents to move in to this beautiful facility. She has been cared for with such great caregivers and administrative staff. As she has encountered health issues Joshua Springs has met all of her needs and has been instrumental in coming alongside my brother and I to assist us in making caregiving decisions. They have been proactive in her care and make sure they have addressed any medical issues that arrise. I can call at any time of day and they know me personally and have been a super helpful in assisting me to manage care for my mom from out of state. What could be extremely frustrating has been made much easier through their diligence, responsiveness and most of all Mom enjoys living here independently in her apartment! As she has increasing needs Joshua Springs has provided them for her. And I can rest assured that she is happy and her medical and social needs are being met!

By the time my mother-in-law got here we had hospice set up. The community and hospice did a good job together. It went well we and they did fine.

I like this community for the excellent that I do receive from the caring staff who do everything to make sure that I am getting good care. They menu is very good and we like the health meals. My room has a great view.They do offer me to do a lot of the activities that are very helpful.

The community has great staff that are doing good with my dad. He likes the meals and he has been participating in the art therapy, physical therapy, and watching the music performances. They also play music in different rooms. They have a calendar of events and each day is different. Since he has been her, there has been a turnaround in my dad. I would recommend the community.

This is a good community. The menu is appealing and he does liking being with the other residents at meal time. The community is very clean and enjoyable. They offer a lot of great activities for the residents to participate. I like knowing that his community is close to my home. We would recommend the care and value to other families.

Beautiful facility and nicely equipped rooms. Lovely amenities, dining area was spacious and open. Lots of light throughout. Will definitely bring my mother here for a visit when the time comes for me to move her. Prices were comparable to other facilities that provide the type of care. Nice staff and the few residents I met were very friendly. Definitely at the top of my list.

Wonderful place. Excellent available services for Mom (nursing, diet, living, etc.). Communication with [Removed] was great and Nurse [Removed] was very helpful as well. Maintenance, [Removed], was right there when we needed him to check a measurement in the room and we hadn't even signed up yet! Lovely, clean, skilled and responsive. Mom is excited for her next chapter and her new home. Thank you [Removed] for all your help.

I liked this community very much.The reason we did not choose it is they offer a dementia unit but it was not advanced enough. I did not want to relocate my mother if her care needs increased.

I moved my Mom into the memory care unit at Elan in March and glad I found it. I love coming to Elan to visit my Mom! The atmosphere is joyful and happy. You feel it when you walk in the door. All of the employees are friendly and call you by name. They enjoy working there. I overheard one employee say that they look forward to coming to work everyday which was great to hear. I have had Mom in several Senior Living facilities and have learned that if the employees are happy, paid a decent salary, and feel valued by their employer, then the care that is given is quality care. The activity director is outstanding and has such creative fun things to do for the residents. The caregivers are instructed on caring for residents with Dementia and the program is in place to help the residents lives be more fulfilling is wonderful. The other day when I came for a visit, Mom was just finishing up cutting strawberries. She was smiling. The facility is clean as well as the rooms...no funky smell anywhere! The architecture of the facility is light and airy and plenty of green space for the residents to enjoy the outdoors. The food is excellent as well and served home style. Most importantly Mom is smiling and happy where she is. She is doing less sleeping due to the fact she is not bored and that is a good thing.

My first visit to Elan Southpark Meadows left me speechless. It is so beautiful and everyone is so welcoming from the moment you enter. Comments I've overheard speak of the rustic, resort feeling. One said "All this hotel needs is a beach!" and another said "I know there are 5 star hotels but this one needs an extra star!" The residents are so happy in this environment of great care, amazing cuisine and activities featuring multiple outings weekly, bingo 7x/week, exercise 6x/week and more. To sum up the Elan experience, one resident is so happy he will tell you he feels like he jumped off the Titanic and is now on the Love Boat!

Very nice facility and friendly staff, extensive cruise ship-like amenities available but possibly way more than what my dad would appreciate. Very costly

My Mom is happy with her new lifestyle and experiences. East Village Place (EVP) is doing and excellent job and is a good fit for Mom. EVP feels more like home than any place I have seen. EVP has a wide variety of activities so that all residence are kept active. Mom has made a quite few new friends and sits with a great group for her meals. All EVP personnel are professional, friendly and caring. Yes, EVP was the right choice for Mom.
