Staff and care has been great. My Dad is enjoying his stay however, they have recently announced a change in ownership which is both unexpected and somewhat concerning that it wasn't disclosed. Hoping that the change in ownership doesn't affect anything going forward or result in any onsite management changes as the current group has made my Father feel very welcomed. Fingers crossed.

I have already recommended Sonata Boynton Beach to others. The facility got a new Executive Director in August 2022, and he has been working to make positive improvements.

I wouldn't recommend the community to anyone, and not to bother viewing the community for anyone that is mobile. The staff want the residents to be calm and not agitated. The Executive Director, [name removed] was very accommodating and pleasant during the tour and signing up was great. We received bad advice from the community about how to get my loved one into the community and leave my loved one. The family received a call right after our loved one moving in, asking for us to come get my loved one out of the community. This is because our loved one was agitated as they didn't want to be here. I have requested the community fee be returned to us, and there has been no follow up with the community. There are no male aides or nurses in the community to assist residents in the memory care unit.

My experience was very nice, very good people, and they might be a little understaffed. The move in process was very easy. It's a beautiful location, clean facility, very kind people. I appreciate everything they did for our family.

I toured Azpira at Windermere and the tour was good. Everything was nice during my tour. This facility is a more upscale looking place. But again, the tour was good.

They are very quick in response to issues you may have. Always have been very friendly. The nurse there is wonderful. She makes things very easy. There is PT and occupational therapy right there, which my mom is making use of. There is a primary care doctor that goes there on Mondays and Friday's which is very convenient. He's good if you need meds, and it's very easy as they work with a pharmacy that will deliver the meds. I personally take my mom to the specialists because that's the most important doctors. I just wish there were a little more diverse activities. But overall I have no regrets with her being there and would recommend it to others.

We picked this community, because they deal totally with memory care, and it was a smaller community. I love the way that, the staff has been caring towards my loved one. They have really good meals, and my loved one really enjoys it. I would recommend to other families.

They had different buidlings. They had nurses on board, and offered 24 hour care. It was more so an assisted living facility.

I am quite pleased with the new director and current staff at Poet's Walk Cedar Park. The quality of care, leadership, and communication with family has improved considerably. This community and others have gone through a difficult time retaining qualified staff, but I am hopeful that the improvements made at Poet's Walk will continue.

Overall Monarch at Richardson is a good place. My dad really liked the food. The staff members were great.

I thought Azpira at Windermere was very nice. The facility was pretty and clean. Nothing else really stood out to me here. The location was not as ideal in terms of stores/amenities nearby.

The Hampton at Meadows Place is a very very nice community, it is very modern and the staff team that works there has been there for quite sometime so they know all the residents by name. The director will even walk around greeting the residents. They do have family activities every months and holiday parties as well as daily activities. The care givers really seem to be committed to giving the residents the best possible care and we would recommend this community to other families.

Sonata Viera is certainly a place to look at if it fits your family member's needs. Compared to other places in the area, it totally outshines them. They have a great number of activities to keep the residents involved all day long. It took a while for my loved one to get acclimated, but she's doing fine there now. She's happy with the food. It's expensive, but the cost is competitive with other places.

We're happy that our family member is here at Legacy Ridge. The staff are very friendly. Weekday room cleaning service is better than on the weekends. My family member loves the food. And we value the hospice service they recommended.

Our loved one was not there for very long, and we did have some issues when it came down to the level of care and what was promised - some of the things we needed were not followed through with. However there were plenty of activities that were offered which we really liked.

We chose Serenades because it looked better than the others we visited. We went to 2 other places and the residents were completely out of it, although it is strictly a memory care facility there are a few residents that are more with it here and able to hold a conversation with my loved one. The price is competitive and also walking distance from my home. I do have to request things multiple times and sometimes the word does not get passed down so that has been frustrating. They could improve on their communication within the staff. Overall we have had a very good experience with Serenades West Orange and would recommend the facility.

I thought Sonata at Coconut Creek was really nice - the facility was nice, and they seemed to have good activities. The rooms were a little bit smaller though. We visited another Sonata location in the area and had a similar impression.

I would definitely recommend Sonata to others. My loved one was in memory care so I can't comment on other buildings. Staff was friendly, accommodating. I had commented on the food not being very appealing or nutritious. It had improved but needed more work. Remark applied to dinner only. That's what I saw. Management was very helpful & caring. No activity after dinner other than TV. Some activity for residents during daytime, however I realize it was memory care. Shortage of staff at times. Made things difficult, & I know it's a problem all over. Place could use an updated look. Nevertheless, I would still would recommend it for the attention that my loved one received.
