American House

Everyone here is so accommodating and the staff is great with all the residents. It is a joy to see their smiling faces and see that they are well taken care of. The facility just got new paint and lights for the facility as well, and it looks really good, and it looked just as great as before too.

We chose American House Bartlett because of the size of the room and the facility. The location as it related to family and the cost were other reasons. They are very attentive to the needs of the patient and the family. You can tell they genuinely care.

This community, and I do mean community, is one of the nicest. The size is just right with all of the employees and residents knowing the name of each and every person here. Once you come here you are family. The residents and family truly care about and watch out for each other.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff were good to my loved one and they took great care of my loved one during my loved one's time here. All the staff we encountered were good to work with. The staff communication with the family was good and they kept us updated.

They are wonderful. The care services is great. My loved loves the food. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner. They offer a list of items on the menu, if the resident don't see something that they like. The apartment is nice, and the people are kind, and friendly. We picked this community, because it was fair better than other places, and it was a newer community. I would recommend to other families. Covered parking would be nice, along with a gated community. It would be great if they also added skilled nursing down the line.

My only issue is : I would like staff to check or/provide guidance a bit more. For example: encourage her to get into night clothes/brush her teeth before bed

The staff is very friendly, I would recommend the community to others. My loved one seems to really like it here. The location is good, the facility is very nice. There is a lot of community activities offered to the resident and the staff seems to care about the residents.

My father has to be quickly moved into a retirement facility. I had no idea where to start & a nursing friend recommended APFM. Instead of moving to FL he's going back to Atlanta but [name removed]was a tremendous help. He decided over Florida on Atlanta since his old doctors & friends are there.

I loved this facility. It’s brand new and just gorgeous. It has a pool. Every single unit has its own balcony or patio. It's a really lovely facility. The staff was very nice. I liked that everything is completely contained in one building, which I think would have been a better match for my mom. They provide more meals a day included in their pricing. If it had been closer to my house, we likely would have chosen it. I just wish I could have literally picked it up from its location and moved it closer to me!

The community is clean but we do not think our loved ones room is cleaned very often. We have not had experience with the food but our loved one says it is not great. Our loved one loves the trivia and bingo. Overall we think they are all over priced but is why value gets 4 stars.

This facility is great. It's a brand new place: shiny, bright, and cheery. Mom has never complained about the food, she and all of her resident friends love it. The staff is very kind and helpful. The activities people are very kind and do great with the residents. The front desk lady is just wonderful. We've been very happy with most everything so far. Housekeeping and laundry is weekly and they do a good job. They also collect trash at least twice a day. Communication with the family is good. We visit daily and they know that, so they keep us updated in person. I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.

We moved mom to American House to be closer to us and it has been nothing short of a blessing. Mom has made new friends, loves the activities provided and the facilities are spotless. All in all we couldn’t ‘be happier with our choice. You can tell that the people who work there really care about the residents and family members too - a plus!

It's a very nice place. The staff treats my mom and I well. Maintenance was very helpful when moving mom in and is very kind to mom. [Name removed] and a few others went above and beyond to help me.

American House Hendersonville is the best. They truly care about the residents. [name removed] and [name removed] go out of their way. I can text or call them or their team at any time and they are there to help, they are a true asset to this community. I just love them.

My loved one was there a short period of time. We picked this community because, my loved one was a difficult patient , and they were equipped to handle them. It's a great community, and feel confident in making the decion to place your loved one at this facility.

We chose American House East Villas because of the price, it was what we could afford. The apartments are a nice size, she is in a disabled unit so it is a little bit bigger. She loves it as much as she can for it not being her house. The staff have been amazing, she knows them all by name and they know her. They go out of their way to help and it really just feels like one big family. I would recommend American House to others.

Our family is having such a great experience with American House, it has been night and day in comparison to our loved ones previous community. The previous community lost multiple items and clothing that we never got back and that has not been an issue at American House. The staff just follow our loved one around everywhere and they always bring her along with them. They provide such great care and based on our experience so far we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

The building is getting a total makeover and looks fabulous! The staff are all very caring and go the extra mile. Food is great and the location on Gunbarrel is very convenient, especially its proximity to doctors offices and a good hospital.

I was able to visit this community about 3 months ago and help a family member who has been the primary caregiver for her husband with advanced dementia explore options in North KC. The staff I interacted with were kind and helpful. They had just finished an activity with a live musician in the memory care section which was nice to see. You could tell the CNA’s truly cared and wanted to help the residents. As we walked through the community I didn’t see residents alone in their rooms as they were out and interacting which was a good sign. The hallways and room sizes were nice and spacious. I feel this would be a good future option for our loved one.
