Discovery Village @ Dominion is a very nice place. The staff & caregivers are very courteous & accomodating. They've gone the extra mile to help my loved one feel comfortable in making the transition to assisted living.It's very good. I would recommend. We picked this community, because of the location, and amenities.

My family and loved one have had a great experience with Brookdale Hoffman Estates. The staff are very attentive towards our loved one and the other residents. They make it easy to work with them, when the family has questions about our loved one. The community is clean. Everyone seems friendly. Overall, this is a community we would recommend to others for their loved ones.

We enjoyed the tour of TerraBella. The staff, residents, and community was the nicest we encountered of all the tours. Our drawback was that was more expensive than we wanted to spend.

I highly recommend Seaton Springwood so far as they are doting and very concerned about residents.I saw that myself when I was last there. We picked this community because the, price was reasonable.Less people there means more attention for my mother in law.

My Father is currently a resident at Seaton Springwood. This facility is above and beyond. My Father is in great hands, we have no worries at all. Everything at this facility has been great. We would highly recommend this facility to family and friends.

Friendly staff. Always address any problems we've had promptly. Great activities! Areas for improvement: The outside around the back where the dumpsters are are absolutely overflowing. Almost always and the grounds as far as landscaping aren't kept like the front. The stairwells and general housekeeping in common areas on the second floor need addressed as well. They raised rent first of the year saying due to increased food prices. The food at that point got even worse.

The open atrium makes the place so inviting. When you walk out of your apartment, you don't feel like you're in a hotel. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend Holiday Glenville to other families!! Everyone is very welcoming

First of all, you must meet [name removed]. She is amazing and cares deeply about each resident. While talking with her, residents would often just come up and hug her and say hello. I toured the facility for my mom. The lunch menu was great and the food was delicious, much better than I expected. There was a real sense of community among the residents. The building is older and not stunning from the outside but the rooms are very nice and airy with lots of light. I was very impressed with [name removed] and her staff. Everyone seemed very pleased to be there. I hope it works out so we can move my mom here.

We have been very, very blessed, [name removed] helped us tremendously, and the staff at the nurses station is simply wonderful. I highly recommend this place and if you have a love one, indeed, get in while you can it has been a great experience so far. sincerely, [name removed] and family.

We toured Morningside of Gastonia when searching for an Assisted Living facility for my loved one. Our tour of this facility was great. The facility itself is neat, clean, and secure. It has a large area for residents with dementia. This facility is much larger than most of the other places that I toured. It was my first choice since it is so close to home.

Thank you to "A Place for Mom" for making this process easier for us.We would recommend it to everyone. They have a lot of activities for everyone and their meals are very good... or as [name removed]says "delicious ". We picked this community, because of the price, option of 3 meals a day, and everybody we met was very friendly.

The rooms are nice. Everything was updated or replaced before move in. When we moved mom in, the management was missing the general manager due to illness. The new manager is now in and making needed adjustments. The staff is very friendly. It is truly a 55+ community, but has amenities that you get at a care facility like a dining room and 3 meals daily. The housekeeping comes once a week to your apartment. Transportation is available. The Activities Director has been there many years. There are fun things to do and it's a nice community. Inside the halls, the carpet needs replacing and walls painted. This is supposed to happen next year. The food in the dining room is good on some meals and not on some others. Management holds meetings with the residents to give updates and to get feedback on areas that they want to address. Everything is included in the rent, except for phone service (land or mobile). This facility may not be a good fit for everyone. However, I would recommend it. They keep an eye on the resident's abilities. If someone really starts having severe memory issues. they will recommend them to look for a facility to provide the needed care. The staff is there from 7am-7:30pm I believe, so this is not Assisted Living. The residents do get a name tag and an emergency beeper to wear . My mother moved from her home to this facility and she is having so much fun. She is happy and gets out to socialize.

The staff does an excellent job of managing my wife who has severe dementia. They handle her with patience and dignity. The facility itself has a very nice layout. The room size is good. A very pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend Morningside of Gastonia to others looking, it was the best fit for our situation.

Solstice Senior Living Grapevine was exactly what I was looking for & everyone I met during the process was so nice & helpful! However the big stipulation with my dad was that he didn't need "care" but rather just someone checking in. I'm not sure if this would be the best place for someone who needed a lot of care, but I don't have experience with that. I did not try it but my dad had very negative opinions of the food. However, I struggle giving a poor rating as he can be stubborn about things and did not think he had to be in a place like Solstice so I fear he let that impact his view on the food.

[name removed] really stands out from any caregiver I have ever come across. She really cares about her residents from the heart and it shows. I’m so proud to know my mother is well taken care of cause of really good people like this!!!! You can tell she has been at this facility for a long time and I pray to god she stays!!!…. Bless her heart!!…

Everything has been good with TerraBella Harrisburg and based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend them to other families looking for a community for their loved ones.

Meals were on the small side, but I'm 64 and not the 80+ of the majority of the residents. Only negative would be the pet policies. From a business perspective I think it can be a real liability for them. Based on the experience I have had so far, I would highly recommend Brook Gardens Place to other families.

They have been so good to her and other people there! They go above and beyond they're calling! They are so sweet they will do for you whatever you want and they are so good about it. Their staff is great. Always smiling, willing to help. Facility; every time I go to elevator, someone is going to physical therapy to the right. Their dining room is elegant! Their food is to die for IF you go down to cafeteria. If you ask to have food brought up to the room, it's not so good because it's in a Styrofoam container, whatever. My mom is a foodie, she's 89, mobile, and she said that they had the best food that she's had in a long, long time even in a restaurant. My mom has done such a good job, putting her little groovy apartment together, they have asked if they could "do show"her room to newcomers, which really really boosts my mom's morale and makes her feel so good. But it really is beautiful in there.

This is an independent living facility and not appropriate for people who need full-time care. That being said, there is care that you can hire in quarter hour increments if necessary, and they have been extremely helpful.

We enjoyed our visit to tour Diamond Ridge. [name removed], the sales manager, was very welcoming and worked hard to make us feel at ease. We were pleased with the grounds which are well-kept and the units we saw were a decent size compared to other locations we had visited. Ultimately, we did move our loved one into Diamond Ridge based on location and budget. We have been there about a month. We would recommend those with loved ones that are still mobile and very independent or that can hire a private aide to assist. The two things that might need consideration, if they are important to you, are the fact that there is no overnight personnel and the food service is not great. Overall, we are pleased with the unit and the move, the assistant manager, [name removed] has been kind and the sales manager, [name removed], continues to be a positive highlight to the place.
