Discovery Village is in a great location in San Antonio. They provide outstanding service, food, and space, especially for the price. I was really surprised how inexpensive it is. My loved one has had one maintenance request so far, and they were really quick to resolve it. They were really apologetic and great to work with. She's gotten to know the kitchen staff really well, and they accommodate any of her requests. It truly seems like they're there for her needs, which is a refreshing change.

My husband and I went to DeWolfe Place in March for a tour. My husband’s mom is 95 and living on her own. We were thinking it was time for mom to have a home where care and independence could be available for her. DeWolfe Place is a home where we could see mom make friends and also receive care. DeWolfe Place treats people like family.

We absolutely loved Holiday at the Atrium. I would highly recommend it to anybody. When my loved one passed away, they came to his wake. They are just wonderful people. They gave excellent care while he was there. And beyond that, they truly loved him. They were so good to him.

This place has exceeded my expectations, which were high to begin with based on what other people had told me. I like just about everything about it. My loved one, who has Alzheimer's, gets more physical activity and social interaction than I was able to give her at home. The staff are terrific. They're compassionate and caring. It is pricey but worth every penny.

I had the opportunity to place my loved one here at this community. It was recommended by a family friend. We had heard many negative stories and concerns, we were unsure. We toured and were impressed with the overall appearance, the building is old, but seems to be kept in good repair and the interior decor is beautiful. The outdoor setting is serene. The staff make you feel welcomed and like you are a part of the family. The overall feel was very welcoming and home-like. The care we have received has been phenomenal in all areas. We could not of asked for a better place.

Our family had an in person tour and The Laurels is a phenomenal place, it is set up amazingly. In the middle there are shops for the residents, different boutiques and even ice cream parlors. They have really high skylights so the entire community it is so bright and airy. It helps those with dementia or Alzheimer's have a better perception of what time it is.

I really liked Arcadia Place. I liked the room size. I liked the activities they offered. I liked that everybody you ran into in the dining room looked like they were having a good time. It looked a lot more lively than other places we toured. As independent living, they have the means to help you if you need assistance, but they're not classified as as assisted living. Because of that, they did not qualify for my loved one's long term care insurance.

They have an actual full sized kitchen in the apartment which was huge for our loved one since they still like to cook full meals for themselves. They are really good size and well laid out. There are bars in the bathrooms and tubs already installed for assistance which is also really nice. Based on our experience so far we would recommend the Solstice Senior community to others

I love Columbus Estates, I was in heaven there. Everybody there was very nice, I always got a hi, hello, good morning. It was a very satisfying experience and the staff were excellent. [name removed] who I believed was the director or in management somewhere was always on top of everything and very hands on. The care was excellent there and I just loved it, I was so sad to leave due to my health.

This has been a great experience. My loved one is happy here. Housekeeping, meals, linen changes and laundry service for the linens and the room are included in the monthly fee.

Seaton Hagerstown is a comfortable place to be. they communicate with friends and family by giving us a call regarding our loved ones care and needs. they have an actual mailing billing system, which breaks down what's due and how to pay. the entire community is all on one floor and the care for assisted living is tiered. the care ranges from supervision, medication delivery, and on upward. the more care you need, the cost goes up - you aren't paying for more than what you're receiving. there's a really nice covered pergola area with comfortable chairs where u can sit outside on nice days. they do have transportation for doctor appointments and other errands. housekeeping comes in once a week for a deep cleaning. they're also there on an "as needed" basis throughout the week. amenities for the room includes laundry, which is taken care of by the staff on a weekly basis. you just sit your hamper outside your door and they'll return it clean. they also offer free cable tv and internet. it's been an overall good experience for my loved one.

Mom is a very social person and has made friends at Summit Place. Each time I visit, she is involved in an activity. The staff is attentive and caring and quick to respond. The facility is clean and well kept, and has lovely decor. Mom is transitioning to hospice and they have made a very stressful time much easier for us to navigate.

the staff at the terrace are excellent. from the sales agent to the housekeepers they are all wonderful. From the moment we walked in you feel like you belong there. your welcomed with open arms. they have bent over backwards to help my parents and for that I love them.

We recently moved our mother into DeWolfe Assisted Living. Our mother chose this ALF because she liked the location which is tucked into a nearby neighborhood where the daily life of raising families is visible and our mother is able to watch the seasons change in the mature trees that surround DeWolfe. The staff at DeWolfe has been outstanding starting with [name removed](Manager) and [name removed](Marketing). They are dedicated to making new residents feel at ease during a tough transition in life and their dedication goes well beyond their 9 to 5 schedule. Getting started on the right foot is key to creating the pleasant atmosphere and it is evident here at DeWolfe as both residents and the staff are warm and welcoming. This was important to us as our mother lived in her home for 63 years and what could have been a “traumatic” transition for her actually ended up giving her a reason to be more active.

When looking we just thought this would be the best fit for mom and it has turned out to be that. The apartment sizes are good, mom loves her little room. She says the food is excellent and there is a lot going on. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I would recommend Discovery Village to others looking.

You would be happy if you check this community out for you or your loved one. The staff are great. They explain everything for you and what is offered and what is not it is very nice and the people are very nice and helpful also. They have activities like bingo, church services and more for the residents to do to have a good time and stay busy in the community. My loved ones have not been here for long but they do well with having things for the residents to do.

It's an absolutely beautiful place. My parents feel like they are at a resort. They were anxious about the move but they love it. They are very very happy. Housekeeping comes once a week. They have a washer and dryer in the unit. They have dances, parties, arts and crafts, field trips, shopping dates, movie nights to name a few activities my parents enjoy. Transportation is provided to residents for outings. Most outings are scheduled. The residents are friendly and welcoming. The staff are accommodating. My parents can put a ticket in to the front desk for something and those requests are handled pretty quickly. I couldn't be more pleased with where they are at.

DeWolfe Place is the most friendly nursing facility I’ve ever visited. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind and I could sense the love they have for the residents. They make you feel right at home! There are many activities and the chef spoke to me about their menus

The value for the money is 10 stars, it is amazing how nice the community is with such little money - it is very reasonable and something our loved one can handle. Everyone there has been so accommodating and nice, our loved one had to leave for a month to recover from a broken hip and when she got back they had a welcome sign and welcomed her with open arms. They constantly check in with our family. She loves it there, her unit is lovely, the view is great and well kept. The location of the community is great. Once she is able to resume the activities it is going to be fantastic. They have so many different things for all their different interests, they have movie nights, outings, speakers, entertainment and so many different board games.
