We chose Brookdale Hoffman Estates because the staff were amazing and we saw a lot of interaction between them and the residents living there, they knew everyone by name. The meal plans and menu was also the best of the places we looked at. The apartments are a pretty good size, there is plenty of room for what he needs. Overall we have been very pleased and would absolutely recommend them.

Oak Gardens Place is a sister facility to the one that we chose. The only difference was they were a little further away from where I live. The facility is smaller so the cleanliness and quality of care is great. It also has a homey feel to it. If their sister facility was not closer, this hands down would have been our first choice.

We chose Wissota Place because of the quality of care for the price. It has a very country home feel to it. I live out in the country and this is the closest facility we could find. It feels like one big family. When my dad needs something, they immediately let me know and have been great with communication. I would recommend them to others looking.

Our family had an in person tour and the community is very nice, however we just did not think the atmosphere was going to be suitable for our loved one, its a very lively environment and she is more laid back

I would highly recommend Discovery Village at The West End. The staff have been great to work with. There are a lot of activities for the residents to choose from. The food overall could be improved upon.

This is an excellent place to be where they treat them well. it is clean and friendly and a nice place to visit. They have activities like field trips to the movies, singing and other group activities.

The cleanliness of the community is way above 5 stars, as well as the meals and dining. The residents are never denied a snack or meal no matter the time of day - they are very accommodating and attentive to all their needs and wants. The meals are amazing. Aside from taking care of the residents, they also take care of the family members. They are very understanding of the different levels with memory care and they take the time to explain things to families so we all can better understand what is happening with our loved one. When we come to visit, before we see our loved one they prep us on things she has done recently, who her friends are, and that helps us with conversations.

I would personally stay here if I could. I would highly recommend this community to anyone. They are navigating tough times due to the pandemic, and doing a great job. They have taken good care of the residents during this time.

This is a good assisted living community for your loved one. They are very open minded and respond to any concerns that you have about your loved one. They have activities like work out classes, field trips, periods where they play games and interactions with each other.

The cleanliness, friendliness, activities, and distance to family make this community a great place for my loved one. Some of the activities available are bingo, outings, movie nights, celebrations, and more are available for the residents to choose from.

We chose TerraBella Harrisburg because it was recommended by someone local and we contacted them as a result of that. The location was very convenient for us as well. My cousin really had no complaints. All in all they are very pleasant and professional to deal with. It has changed hands since we have been there so I am not sure how things are now.

The staff are all very efficient and they get right back to you if you have any questions or concerns. My friend is not very active, but they do have things like entertainment and music that come in. It has been a good experience and I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

We really appreciate the friendliness of the staff members and how they always introduce themselves and they are always willing to answer every questions we have.

I think they're very caring about their residents. My loved one has been sick a couple of times and in the hospital, and they have called us to get an update and see how he was doing because they were concerned about him. That's the best thing - how caring they are. The facility is very comfortable. When you first walk in, there's a little lobby and a person behind a desk. The dining room is right there. Everything is very homey and comfortable. We ate Thanksgiving dinner there with our loved one, and the food was excellent. I think it's a good value based on what they provide and compared to other places that we looked at.

We had a very good experience overall. The only thing that was not good was they would not allow my loved ones to bring in their own medications. As a result of that, we had to pay out of pocket for the bill that was sent to us from their pharmacy since our insurance would not cover it. But the staff were very friendly and cordial with my loved ones. And they told me that the food was very good.

This is a great community and I would recommend it for your loved one. They have activities like crafts, games, field trip outings and more for the residents to do to stay busy and engaged in the community.

We chose The Addison because it was clean, the staff that we met were very responsive, and it is very convenient to my home. He was also able to get a private room, the room size he has is adequate for his needs. Some of the staff have not been as receptive as we hoped. It is very bright and cheery environment, they even have sun rooms where residents are able to go sit. Overall it is a good place and he is happy, he has made a lot of friends. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

This place is awesome. My mom loves it! She loves her apartment, which has a great view. The staff is amazing. Everybody here has been so friendly and helpful. They did a great job helping get her moved in and settled. If I have questions about anything, I can go down and talk to anybody down there. It's been a really good experience so far. Of course it has been an adjustment for Mom, but she's settling in nicely. The food is really good, and they serve three meals a day - breakfast. lunch and dinner. They have two salons on-site. The value is great for what she's getting here, especially compared to other places.
