I highly recommend the community, and my loved one loves it here. I really like the director of the community, he takes time to get to know everyone. The staff are very attentive to the resident's needs, and makes sure everyone feels welcomed into the community.

The management and staff have always been so kind and accomodating to my mother's needs and care. My mother truly came to cherish her friends and staff at the Chateau. The environment always lent itself to fun activities, spiritual activties, and social time. Very important always. My mother/family will be grateful for this time in her life. Thank you!

It's really tough to give an accurate assessment because of Covid. They only just opened up for in-person visits in the last week, and they opened dining a couple of weeks ago. Before that it was served in the rooms on a styrofoam plate. The staff have a tough job, and the added responsibilities of Covid have been hard on them Everybody there has been vaccinated. They do a good job encouraging our loved one to participate in activities. We've seen exercise, music, etc. We've had one rent increase since we've been there. Our biggest complaint is just not having access to our loved one due to Covid. Her cognitive level has declined since she's been there, it's unclear whether that's just a natural progression, or if it's due to limited interaction because of Covid. Some of the staff there go out of their way to help her and have been great at communicating with us. We definitely have our go-to people when we need to know something or get something done. Even the maintenance guy was happy to help our loved one set up a landline telephone and showed her where it was and tested it out for her. That made us feel a lot better about being able to communicate with her.

My mom has lived in an independent living apartment at Brookdale Des Plaines for 3 years and is very happy with her choice. The apartments are spacious and common areas are attractive, welcoming and comfortable. The staff works hard, especially during the pandemic, to keep residents busy and engaged with presentations, movies, exercise opportunities and more. The past year they have definitely gone above and beyond! Families are supported and even during the pandemic were invited to participate in activities remotely. The staff always greets residents by name, which is so important and appreciated. Brookdale is a warm and welcoming choice for senior living.

It's a really awesome place. They care about the residents, and they seem to know everybody there. If someone is missing from an event or late, they just know. They know who does what and who goes where. They're very concerned about everybody and they keep up with them. I've eaten a couple of holiday meals with my loved one, and I really enjoyed it. They have all kinds of activities going on. Right now they're doing mock travels to different countries like Mexico, France Italy, etc. They have passports and get little flag cutouts as passport stamps when they visit.

[name removed] has been our first contact with the company. She is very warm and caring. This place would not be the same without her.

Even during the pandemic they made good efforts to keep the activities going the best that they could. Our loved one is in memory care so at times he can be difficult to care for because he may forget things more frequent, but the staff members have handled his care so good, they are just so kind to him.

Excellent care. Friendly staff and knowledgeable. Loved living there. If I should get a chance to love back, I will. Loved my balcony.

We have been very happy with this community and couldn't be happier. The community is neat and clean and the staff is very friendly and they have been there a long time I would recommend this community to others.

The community offers transportation to the doctor. The food is good and they deliver it to my loved one's room. They have lots of activities and something is always going on.

We do think the community is well kept, and the staff members are all very friendly. She does enjoy the activities she can participate in like dominoes and getting to know her neighbors. Sometimes she enjoys the meals and others time not so much but we do think it is a good value for cost.

My mother and our family loved Brookdale Des Plaines, Everyone was very kind and helpful. The apartment was very nice and the building was very clean. It felt like she was living at a hotel, I highly recommend Brookdale that is looking for a very family-friendly place to live.

Wonderful community, very friendly and accomodating staff. The meals are very good. The facility is clean and being updated. Apartments are nice and housekeeping comes in and cleans weekly. Additional features in the building are a noon lunchroom, a beauty shop, and a pool. Families are welcome to use the pool.

During the last ]date removed] years that my mother has been at Brookdale Des Plaines our family found the entire staff to be kind, Caring, and Competent in every way. Her apartment was clean, cheerful, and well maintained. In addition, Brookdale offered a variety of services that made her life (and ours) easier during this difficult time

The value was the cheapest around which is why we chose The Bonaventure. It was still expensive, but it was better then the average cost.
