The community is absolutely very clean, the chef is amazing they would give a 10 plus. The activities are still limited but they do their best, they have a movie theater and for the Oscars recently all the residents dressed up and had little hors d'oeuvre. We love the interaction between the staff and the residents, they have great one on one time. Our loved one recently moved from the independent living to the assisted living, so there are different levels of care. The CNA's check on him all the time, we have a really good rapport with the director of nursing. They really get involved and make sure everything regarding our loved one is going well. it really gives us a piece of mind knowing they are in such great hands.

They go out of their way to take care of the residence. We feel like the staff is our friends and the community is very neat clean and well-taken care of. I would definitely recommend this community to others.

We were able to tour this facility in person, and we really liked and enjoyed this facility but the value for cost was just way to expensive for us.

We chose Woodlands Village because it was more affordable than others we saw. The apartment we toured is the same one that she got and it is good size for what she needs. Their staff is super friendly, if she has any issues they always help her quickly. I would recommend to others looking.

I've visited here a few times and the staff and administrators are great! They do a lot of fun events for their residents and really get to know them.Would definitely recommend.

It was a nice community, but a little further than we wanted to be.

We have been able to eat the food there, and it is very good. The activities are still pretty minimal, but what they are doing seems very organized and accessible. The community is gated, secured, and beautiful. The maintenance department is incredible. Anything that needs to be fixed, changed, or added they take care of right away. One of the things that has been incredible is that they have a doctor on site, and a home health for physical and occupational therapy, which has been so convenient. It is fantastic.

The price is a little high but we do think it is worth it. This community just made our loved one very comfortable, the staff are really personable. They know your name and who you belong to and we would recommend them to others.

They are currently going through a remodel. It is a friendly community, my mom is happy here. The staff really care. The Community Director is amazing. I would suggest updating the resident's rooms.

It was very nice, just a little bit too far out in the woods. The person who took us around was very knowledgeable. I found the units to be very nice here.

From our understanding we think our loved one enjoyed the meals but at times the serving sizes were a little to small. The activities were on a reduced amount but when they did have things to do they did it in a very efficient and safe manner. Once the residents finished their quarantine they would take them shopping to thrift stores and even hung up Christmas lights. The lady who gave us the tour was absolutely amazing, she was so hands on the entire time and really bent over backwards for our family. The community also have really beautiful grounds with a court yard and pool area.

Loved it! My parents are coming next week to tour as well.

Our loved one really likes the food that they serve, and because of the pandemic they had to shut down all the activities. We enjoy the help that they give. The staff members go out of their way to help our loved one and we would recommend this community to others.

They were wonderful! They were my first choice, but my loved one chose a different place. It's a beautiful, new facility. Everything was super clean. They have a movie theater there. And they offer additional care services if needed. This place is terrific!

Our loved one is thriving there, we can see them doing activities through the windows. We know she is happy there. Even during covid where it was difficult we found this community was 10 times better then our loved ones previous community. Even the receptionist is great.

I love living here! The staff is great! Lots of things to do. Food is good. Building is 18 months old.

We have had no complaints regarding the cleanliness of the community, and the staff members are always saying hi to us when we visit. When it comes to the meals they do offer a variety of choices to pick from, and if you do not like those options they are very accommodating and give you something else. The assisted living folks activities were pretty limited this past year, however the memory care side continued their daily activities as if there was not a pandemic,

Our family would like to share our heartfelt thanks to Brookdale Senior Living in Hoffman Estates for their tremendous help with both of our parents. Many years ago, our Dad experienced a decline in health that necessitated continuous observation and resources. Our family search for an appropriate place of residence for them to maintain independence but also have constant care and monitoring as necessary. The one factor that attracted us to Brookdale was the warmth and kindness we received as we met the staff and toured the place in addition to the beauty and cleanliness. Our Dad was suffering from many illnesses including cancer until he passed peacefully this year with extensive assistance from Brookdale's staff, especially Director [Name Removed], Nurse [name removed], and Nurse [name removed]. Our Mom, with multiple health issues, is continuously being administered help by Brookdale staff. They communicate with the residents and families in a positive and open manner. Brookdale provides close watch and essential help for meals, transportation, services of nursing, PT, OT, and countless resources. With COVID-19 restrictions and families unable to visit it is with great peace of mind that Brookdale is monitoring and assisting our Mom with resources as needed.
