Whitlock place has been a godsend for my mom. Her apartment has all her stuff in it to make it feel like home and everyone really worked so hard to keep everyone safe and loved ones updated during the pandemic. [name removed] went above and beyond to accommodate my mom and knows exactly what each resident needs. Chad helped hook my moms Alexa up so we could still see each other when we weren’t allowed in the building, also a shout out to Aspen my mom can be a pill and she just has a way with her and will always scratch her back for her. I can’t say enough everyone goes the extra mile.

A few years ago it became obvious to my family & I that my mother was no longer able to care for herself because she was in the early stages of Alzheimer’s. After much research with regards to full service private pay facilities in Lafayette, we chose Digby. My mother was NOT pleased when we informed her that she would have to leave her home of 25+ years. It took her a couple of weeks to adjust to her new environment, but the excellent staff at Digby Place made the transition easier. Prior to becoming a resident at Digby Place, she had little social interaction, did not eat well, & rarely did anything physical. She now has made new friends, enjoys the great food, & participates in daily group activities. Digby’s staff assists her as needed & kept me well informed of her status when visits were limited due to Covid. I'm very thankful for the team at Digby & their assistance in raising the level of her quality of life. She is doing so well now she might out live me!

We chose Solstice Senior Living because I thought the friendliness and follow up from the staff members was great. The price was also a bargain, the facility looked clean and it is in a good area. I think the apartment sizes here are adequate. The food here is good, they do provide a menu with choices to choose from. Overall it is a great place and we have no complaints at all. I would not hesitate putting a family member here.

Have lots of money before you get here. But that being said, there's not much to not like. When they feed you two meals a day, clean your house once a week, take care of the yard once a week and the flower beds whenever it's needed, and the people are friendly. It's everything that one needs. We left a house that we could no longer take care of. And there's not much storage here, so you do have to really downsize. We have friends out here, and we've made a lot of friends since we've been here. Nobody here is unfriendly. The one drawback is they're having a hard time keeping staff. I'm not sure of the reason. The pandemic could be a factor. But the staff that is working here seems to be friendly and satisfied. They just can't keep housekeepers or kitchen staff.

The cleanliness of the community is immaculate, the staff members are the best and they do have some activities going on. However the food here is terrible, it is terrible terrible. There is no solution to the problem as of right now, they are understaffed so there is not a good dining service. However for what we are getting and what we are paying we do think it is a good value.

We did a virtual tour with this community and i loved it. The community was nice and the staff was funny and friendly.

This is a truly special senior living community. It is the perfect size without being too overwhelming to maneuver. It’s a great place to be able to maximize independence while knowing help is available and readily accessible if needed. The leadership and staff are approachable and readily available to assist with not only care but acclimating residents to a new environment in a way that makes it feel like home the minute you walk in the door.

Our experience was during the pandemic. The stay was short for the family and our loved one at Marchbanks. This was my loved one's happy place. I began to love the staff that worked with my loved one.

Creekside at Shallowford was a beautiful facility. It just wasn’t the right fit for my loved one. They were a little more on the independent living side. So they didn’t have the type of care we needed there. But that's nothing bad on them. They were an absolutely beautiful facility.

It's definitely safe and a very welcoming, happy community. The staff really make it the way it is. They do a great job and look out for everyone, for the residents and families and other staff. I think everybody comes together well as a whole. I think it's a clean place, and they seem to keep up pretty well. I think there are residents that try to sneak smoking into their individual units, which is yucky to me. They have fantastic activities here. They make it really festive around the holiday time, especially during Covid when visiting was limited. I've seen senior yoga, a fitness class, support groups, games like bingo.

Loved this place. All one big building, so my mother would never have to go outside to get her mail or go to meals. They are busy doing repairs after the "big Freeze", but lovely guide and great set up.

The food was not very good and it was cold when it arrived during covid, but in the dining room it a lot better and there are more options. the community is very neat and clean and the staff is very friendly and nice. We had one issue with the care that resulted in a fall. I would recommend this community to others.

We chose Solstice Senior Living because we were looking for the most inexpensive place we could find. So we could afford it and we were blown away by how efficiently it was run given the fact it was the cheapest place for us. The apartment sizes here were perfect. The director made the whole process seamless and was very easy to work with, friendly, and accommodating. I would recommend to anyone in the area.

Mom is having a great experience after being at Brookdale for almost 2 years now. She has a great social network with other residents and staff. And participates in Brookdale events. Brookdale not only is great at room and board but focuses on the quality of life aspect of staying mentally awake.

Though my parents chose not to go to an assisted living facility the assistance/information provided by [name removed] was invaluable and greatly appreciated.

We had an excellent tour here, pre-Covid. The person we met with was excellent, very knowledgeable, and very kind to us. He paid attention to my loved one, and directed his attention to her and her experience, which I appreciated. He spent time with us, took us all around, answered all of our questions, served us some wine and horderves. He was very kind and attentive. The only reason we didn't end up here was the price - it was more expensive than another contender.

Our family was able to do an in person tour at this community, we had a nice tour experience and the community was very nice.

I looked at a lot of facilities in the area and I chose Pinewood Hills because of the value for the money. The apartment sizes here were really nice and spacious for independent living. She was in a 1 bedroom, the bedroom was huge, decent living room, an enormous amount of closet space, and small kitchenette area. It was more than sufficient for what she needed. Overall it was a great facility and I would recommend them to others looking.
