My dad was at the Conservatory for a short time. It was beautiful, but he felt that he didn't belong there. The facility was well designed and they offered exercise classes, book club, movie nights, and a full schedule of activities. The food was very good. It was served buffet style and easy to manage. The staff was very friendly and polite. I liked the built in notification system that let the front desk know if the resident(s) opened their doors in the morning and if they didn't, the staff would call first and then send someone to do a welfare check. It gave me peace of mind. Seemed like a very active and social community.

Heritage Place of Boerne has been an incredible experience for our mother, and words truly can't capture the gratitude we feel. From day one, the staff, including the Executive Director, have been attentive and hands-on, going above and beyond to create a warm and supportive environment. The physical therapists and nurses are exceptional professionals, consistently helping residents achieve healthier, happier lifestyles. Since moving in, our mother has blossomed—she’s active, involved, and has made so many new friends. She often says it feels like having her own apartment, which brings her so much joy and independence. The community is family-friendly, and there’s a genuine “home” feel, even within such a professional setting. We can even bring our dog to visit, and every time, we’re welcomed like family, not just “visitors.” If you're considering a place for a loved one, we highly recommend Heritage Place of Boerne. It's been one of the best decisions we've made!

Being that my mother in law doesn't know a stranger she is very happy with her independent living experience at Solstice. We picked this community because it was close to family. Great staff. They care about people

I felt that my mom was going to be happier in an independent living environment over an assisted living environment. I visited a care home environment, the assisted living and Solstice ( with the care giving, on site)

It's very peaceful here. I'm from the country and this is closer to country life but with the conveniences of the city life. Meaning you don't have to travel fast to go to a store. Everyone knows everyone and watches out for one another. My apartment is very roomy for me and my pets or even a couple, can manage. I have a studio with a patio to take my dog out as many times as he wants or needs.

The staff take very good care of my mom. She is very happy at Terra Bella and we would recommend them to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

I particularly enjoy the variety and availability of activities. My son wants me to socialize and the activities help with that. The staff here is amazing. They are friendly and caring and very good at their jobs.

The Palms felt like family from the moment I walked in the door and it has stayed that way. The staff really show they care by everything they do and do not mind going the extra mile to make sure I feel right at home.

The people are what make this place special. It's clean but not modern. They have a good ratio of residents to staff. There is a great variety of activities and food options. The staff was just the bright spot. My dad would have a 3 dr visit which means he would not be back in time for dinner. They always had a plate of food waiting for him. They knew what he liked and no one had to ask them to do this they just cared enough to make sure he was safe and well cared for.

Our loved one did not really need any care services, and we cannot really say anything about the meals because our loved one choose not to use the cafeteria. Some of the activities were a 5. Overall, it was a very good experience. However, she was quite ill and passed with in a matter of months, but she was always happy while she was there and was glad she had moved from her home to this residence.

[name removed] was amazing!! Brookdale Quincy Bay was less expensive than others I was looking into at the time. It is a very nice place.

They were great with my husband. My only complaint was when a fill in director took over while the regular director was on a continuing education leave. She had my husband sent to psychiatric hospital for evaluation n my husband died about two nights a half weeks later. I filed a complaint with the state. He went into the psychiatric hospital a happy man and came out a vegetable. They cost me my husband. The staff were absolutely great with my husband n everyone called him Papa. The food was always great n I noticed the residents that had difficulty feeding themselves were always assisted n not rushed. It always felt like a family atmosphere. They provided activities for the residents n were always encouraging. My husband passed in [date removed] and I haven't been back since, too painful. I would recommend it to anyone.

All would be a 5 for us. [name removed] was so happy being there. The staff loved her and us. They knew us by name and knew her so well that they would give us a call if they felt she was having a bad day or something was just a little off. We trusted them completely.

Bear Creek has a home like feeling, not cold and or institutional. It was a good, positive experience. I would recommend Bear Creek.

This place was recommended to us by a friend that had a parent stay there. They have taken very good care of my mother, excellent value for the money. The best comment I can say is when it is my time I hope they have room for me!!!!! Highly recommended, excellent care as well as the food being good. We have visited and eaten with her before.

The thing we like best is the flexibility of additional care. They keep their prices low by having the base independent living rate, and then we hire on the home care or the PT, the OT the other things that she needs. Because she doesn't need a lot, we're able to keep her cost way below what we would at an assisted-living facility. And as her needs change, we can get changing care, so it suits us perfectly. We also love that each apartment has a little balcony. It's really nice for our mom to be able to sit out on the balcony. She loves that. The rooms are very bright and cheerful. Lots of windows and sunlight. With her low vision that's especially nice.

I picked them initially because the director there, [name removed} met with me and was SO helpful. He listened to everything I was going through with my grandpa and gave me good advice. It just felt like he really cared. Then their head nurse came out and visited my grandpa while he was still at the rehab center and she was so personable and friendly. She felt like an old friend. Then as my grandpa moved in, even their bus driver would greet me with a friendly hello every time I came by. So their staff is really exceptional, and my grandpa says the food is amazing (something very important to him). I toured other places but this one really stuck out to me. It felt livelier, always very clean, lots of amenities like a "hair salon", movie area, library, etc. and I think the price is reasonable. I'm so glad we went with them, and I'm so grateful for you guys calling me and helping me find a place when I was so stressed and had no idea what I was doing. You guys talked me out of doing one of those shared homes and looking back you guys were SO right. He would've hated that.

The entire staff at Dogwood is just wonderful [name removed], the Executive Director, is just a sweetheart and she really cares about all of us and Everyone from her down is the same. Chef [name removed], is not only a very good cook but he really tries to give us good a nutritious food. I'm disabled and was living with my brother but I was really struggling before I came here. Since I came here my life has just gotten better and better. Instead of just watching tv all day I'm involved many activities all day. I'm and engineer and have found purpose again helping other residents with their phones and computers. It a great feeling to feel useful again. [name removed]the activities Director organizes many, many activities for us every day. Moving to Dogwood was absolutely the best move I ever made.

We love the staff there, they have been wonderful, especially [name removed]. The facilities are clean and well managed. The residents seem friendly and welcoming at Bethel Park.

Had a great experience, love the facilities, extremely friendly staff, they really seem to care about my mom, the admin staff and and billing department are wonderful, the food has been excellent, the menu changes all the time tons of activities for them to do, including happy hour and water aerobics, super affordable, great value for the money
