This community has provided my mother with abundant social interactions, an updated apartment with an attached garage, amenities in a convenient location, and attentive staff who oversee the facility with attention to detail and responsiveness to requests.

My dad had a sharp decline in health and suddenly could not live independently. I was scrambling to find an assisted living place for him. LakeHouse was a perfect fit! Even though he was only there for a little while until his passing, the staff was always friendly with him, and he was happy with their help. The executive director kept in contact with me, even late at night, to keep me informed about anything that may have happened: falls, eating habits, bathroom accidents, medication needs, she was also kind of a liason for the visiting doctor and helped keep me in the loop about medical needs. My experience with LakeHouse was short, but I am glad I found them and they could help my dad feel welcome in a great time of need.

Loved how nice and clean the facility was. The staff was very kind and helpful. Always communicated with me about all items concerning my grandmother. Room sizes were in memory care were the largest out of all facilities we looked at. Very roomy and nice.

I've toured several independent living places for myself and Five Star Premier Residences of Dallas is by far the best by leaps and bounds! The sales ladies, [name removed] and [name removed], are personable, very informative and I did not feel pushed to make a haste decision like some other places. And I'm so happy I accepted their invitation to lunch during my first visit because I had so many choices to choose from and the food is absolutely delicious! I've actually visited three times and each time I see residents having a good time and staff interacting with everyone. I already feel spoiled - when I drive up and my car is valet parked at no charge! I'm very much looking forward to the all-inclusive lifestyle WITHOUT the big buy-in!!

Staff are nice and polite. Spend time helping but also talking to my mom. The medication management is their weakest area. Overall the best value in assisted living for people with minimal medical needs. Not recommended for highly medically or cognitively compromised.

My sister was there for a respite stay following surgery. I found the staff to be professional, competent and courteous in all their dealings with me on behalf of my sister (the client), often going above and beyond my expectations.

The staff at every level was very attentive to Mom and made Mom's stay as pleasant as possible. The facility was clean and well maintained. The other residents also appeared happy and liked their experience there as well.

We sadly lost Mom-n-Law at New Year and had to move father into a new place quickly. I had been working with a Place for Mom for a few weeks and up came a referral for Holiday Virginian. They had a great offer and the sales staff was excellent. After a great visit father-in-law was very excited to move!

The experience has been great. The move in process was easy, the staff was very helpful with completing the assessment and paperwork. The entire staff have been helpful and so kind to my dad. He is doing so much better than when he was living alone. He is safe, well cared for and happy.

1) Ambassador Services - my mom was in IL and needed extra help through the Ambassador Services, like pushing her wheelchair to and from the dining room. She really bonded with one of the Ambassadors who helped her with ADL's like stand-by assistance for her showers. Caveat: My mom lived independently for 78+ years, so she had a learning curve that a schedule for AS meant you didn't get to tell them to come back later. 2) She got along well with most other residents but was quiet and liked crossword puzzles during meals. Sometimes, other residents made her feel awkward for not being more social, which led to her wanting to eat in her apartment. I didn't really let her do that unless she was sick because then she became even LESS social. 3) One of the best things for my mom's transition to a retirement community was the Sales & Marketing Director, [name removed], made sure to introduce her to other new and existing residents who she thought would be a good fit. She became fast friends with one other resident who was introduced to her on Day 1. One another note, my mom really didn't want to live in AL without a stove or W/D, so I was her supplemental caregiver by ensuring she took her medicine, got her doctor's appointments, and was generally happy & safe. It was a lot of work, but I didn't want my mom to feel isolated when we only lived 5 minutes away. Overall, I felt my mom and I had a lot of support from The Forum staff and community to make her IL situation work. In hindsight, she probably needed AL, and I was willing to sacrifice my time & energy to fill in the gaps.

5's across the board! There are plenty of options for socialization. There is availability of home care as needed right on site. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Room sizes are adequate with PLENTY of closet space. Very glad I chose the Atrium!

We are looking for a senior living community for a family member in the near future. We took a tour with the manager of Arcadia Place. What a pleasant surprise, after touring a few other senior living communities, where all we got was a sign here attitude. We talked to some of the residents along the tour and they had nothing but praise for the facility and staff. We were given a copy of the menu and saw the choices and variety. We were not pressured or rushed and every question that we had was answered completely. We felt very welcomed. When the time comes, Arcadia will be our choice.

The staff is understanding and caring. They do an excellent job cleaning and taking care of residents. The meals are good and the residents are encouraged to provide feedback on the menu and specific dishes they would like to add or remove. The only area I find lacking is the WiFi. I recommend SummerHouse Bay Cove to others.

I would and have recommended the facility to others and they have concurrently moved in. It took my Mom about 9 months to adjust to this lifestyle arrangement, and now she absolutely loves being at the facility. It has improved her mentality, her socialization and her physically. The housekeeping is lacking. The quality of the food is terrible! They have a lot of diabetic residents living at the facility, but yet do not offer any type of options for them. The move in was extremely easy.

The people that work there are what made us choose this facility initially over others we looked at. They know the residents and I don't see huge turn over in staff. They stay with the facility. I find the staff very friendly and caring.

I have lived at Colonial Village for about 5 years. The atmosphere of the community is wonderful and the residents are so humble. The staff is so kind and answers any questions I have. There is always an activity going on, weather it be staff ran or resident. They offer so many amenities like toilet paper, sheets, towels and they have a laundry room on every floor. So in my 5 yrs I can't find one thing to complain about.

The staff is professional, compassionate, personable, attentive and quick to respond to any need of the resident. The residents are know by name and treated with great respect as members of a family. The community is peaceful and joyful with an uplifting atmosphere and sense of belonging. The rooms are spacious, the grounds beautifully landscaped. A very pleasant and comfortable place to live in the senior years!

The staff are really caring and professional. I would recomemdbn The Addison to others looking for care.

My mom is actually moving out. My only complaint is that they keep upping the prices on everything and she can't afford it anymore. I think the entire staff are extremely nice and very helpful. My mom really loved having people her age to hang out with. She's gotten involved in Sunday potluck , bingo night, water aerobics. I think her favorite thing was when a podiatrist came to trim toe nails. She said it's really hard bending over that now. However with the cost of meals, rent, internet and utilities it's just gotten way too expensive.

The staff has always been willing to listen to us and done whatever they can to make us feel good about Mom being there. The activities director sends me videos and pictures all the time.
