Best place by a mile! The staff really know what they're doing and a very warm, friendly environment. Tons of walking areas and extensive yard that is completely fenced. Memory care only so not overshadowed by regular senior care. Nurses around the clock. Doc onsite 5 days a week! $6100 but all inclusive and never increases. Small fee for transportation with caregiver assistance and $14 a day if incontinent. Admin fee $4000

Having had first hand experience with a facility that overall rating was close to zero and now Aspen Park which is outstanding I feel that Silverado is a blessing to both my sick husband and my worried self. Their thoroughness in evaluation, after making certain that he was comfortable settled, was impressive. They took a man who to me seemed insane and returned him to the calm loving person he actually was. He cannot be healed. His memory cannot be rebuilt but he is at peace and now so am I. I have the greatest confidence in their ability to care for him as the Alzheimer's continues to destroy his brain. God bless each of those who care for those who are at Silverado Aspen Park.

Overall, I am impressed with Coventry. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating to both family members and guests. It is an independent living setting, but any care services needed were provided. The community is very clean, with a member of the cleaning staff coming to the apartment once a week. Food is not necessarily the best, but there is a wide range of activities for residents. My experience with Coventry has been great so far!

The "Inn at Los Patios is a wonderful place to live. The staff also know you by name and are very helpful. I believe the "inn" has something for everyone. The residents are very active and they go all over San Antonio and the Hill Country. The management of this independent living facility are very well trained in the elderly, making everyone of them feel important as a person. The residents are also very nice, helpful and go out of their way to talk to you. I'm glad I selected this facility. Lots of walking trails by Salado creek as well as many bird watching activities.

They are amazing. I never knew there could be such an amazing rehabilitation community! The services are being very effective. This is the best community!

They’re very loving people who have fallen in love with my mom. The only negative is that they lost clothing the first visit. They are very accommodating. I call them up to see if they have room for respite care and they get back with me. It’s been wonderful. They’re great people. Mom says the food is very good. They take them out to lunch.

This should be a 6 star rated residence. The seniors appear in their 60 and 70s. The seniors are very active and get along fine. All of the staff especially Debbie is very helpful. All of the staff from the housekeeper to the chief is very friendly and very helpful. The food is the best outside of Adante. After you eat, then you can walk trails of the beautiful surroundings. If you are a birdwatcher you will lose your mind. The apartments are very up to date and very pretty.

What a wonderful place! So thankful to know my Mother is safe, secure and loved and being cared for by the awesome, friendly staff of Sundance Memory Care. I will recommend this place for placement of family members who suffer from memory loss.

If they had a six I would give the staff a six. It's the best staff in the world. If I had to give some constructive critisism it would be that they could do a little painting and remodeling, but that is just aestetics, very minor compared to the quality of care. The doctor that is there, Dr. Steve Fehlauer, he is the best doctor that my mother has had for 30 years. He really dug in to find the issues. I couldn't get good medical care anywhere, except for him. They have a nurse that became a good family friend, and gave outstanding care compassion and love to my mom, Jan Parkinson told my mom she loved her a hundred times. I would reccommend them to anyone.

We were very pleased with this care facility. The representative stayed on an icey night to spend time visiting with us. Never hurried us along even though roads were getting bad. Debbie was wonderful, talking directly to both my husband and me. All the employees we met appeared genuine in their care of the residents. When we began preparing my mom in law's room on a Sunday, the maintenance man, Louis, was very helpful and friendly. He kept checking with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Loaned us all sorts of tools. Since move in, everyone has been exceptionally nice working with all of us, including my children, who are apprehensive about the transition. Debbie sends me pictures when I'm missing my mom in law and relays messages. Norma, director of nursing, stays on top of things letting us know immediately if anything needs attending to. She has gone out of her way to help us with paperwork and any questions or other needs. The facility, itself, is beautiful. Looks like a fancy hotel rather than an assistive living facility. Very inviting. We love it.

Our mom has been living at Washington Gardens for about 6-7 weeks now. For the first time in many years she now participates in social activities and when we come to visit is often joining with others in whatever is going on. She seems happier now than we have seen for quite some time. We are very pleased.

Very nice facility. Doesn't look at all like a care facility. Looks like a plush hotel. Residents were very friendly and looked good, well groomed. Semiprivate rooms were very nice as they actually look like a 2 bedroom apt w/o the door between rooms. Allows for privacy but companionship. They were glad to allow my mom in law's cat who has been her companion for the past 10 years. When a resident walked by Debbie immediately shifted her attention to them from us. You could tell the resident was the most important factor. Debbie was great, straight forward and gentle with us.

We have selected Emeritus. We don't have any plans just yet, but it is nice to know that they have respite available. Thanks for your help.

Brought my mom there for a tour last week. She fell and was in rehab for a couple of weeks. She is in her late 80s and she and I both realized she can't live alone anymore. Came in on a weekend day and Chris who is the marketing person there was really nice. He took a lot of time and really seemed to care. Gave us some great advice and really walked us through everything. My mom moved in and so far everything has been great. She is even starting to make some friends.

We chose it frankly because it had this giant patio on one of the units that noby else particularly wanted and my mother loves her plants and her patio and the price was good for the size of the unit. The patios as big as her apartment and we made it perfect for her. She loves it, I think its the happiest shes been in years, I couldnt be more pleased and now I don't have to worry about her. Their friendliness is one of the best things about the place and the value is excellent; they provide increadible, great care services, a lot more than she needs right now but they're there when she needs it. They have a great doctor that comes once a week so she doesn't have to go out in a car or get a ride, she can just make an appointment to go and see him. When she was living by herself in a regular 55+ apartment I was freaked if I couldn't get her on the phone, now if I can't get her I call them and they go out and find her. She's usually out doing something and talking to poeple, its fabulous.

My mom is very, very hapy at Ashley Glen. She loves the staff, the food is really good, and it is very clean. She is very happy with it.

I like the 'aging in place' model where you can bring in any assistance you need and not get kicked out when you care becomes intensive. Home health and medicare on-site. Doctors visit regularly. Car for appts, not shuttle. Great food. May be more difficult to coordinate if using different Home Health organizations.

I loved this place, and it too is a possible respit location. Our loved ones would both like it very much to live there, so it is in competition with Emeritus at Oakwell Farms.

This is a brand new facility with openings. She raved about the atmosphere and location. They have furnished or unfurnished rooms, shared or private rooms (the only thing shared is the bathroom). There are 48 apartments with only 30 residents at the moment.
