Legend Senior Living

I moved mom to Legends this year so she would be closer to family. There are eight of us now within a few minutes drive to see her. One of the things I am most impressed with is the service and food quality in the cafeteria. All of the staff is courteous, patient and helpful to all the residents. I would like to give a special thank you to Chef [name removed], he is always smiling, calls everyone by name and always willing to do anything to make the dining experience special. I try to eat at least one meal a week with mom and he always comes out to greet me by name and to make sure I get plenty to eat! I’m sure preparing meals for older residents who might not be in good health is challenging, I think the staff at Legends meets that challenge daily! Thank you for all you do for our loved one!

My wife and I were so happy to attend Octoberfest at Legends again this year. They had such good music that was an accordian player playing it! The food is always so yummy and we were so happy to be apart of it this year!

What we like the most about the Legend at Council Road is the quality of care the staff members give and provide the residents living there. Based on our experience so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

My niece & I helped my sister & her mother get settled. We are very content with everything. The food is delicious!! We picked this community, because price, staff, and friendiness. I would recommend to others.

The primary thing that made me feel at home was the staff. They are ready to welcome you and provide quality services you need. They have chefs that attempt to meet everyone’s needs. What I was very impressed with is the cleanliness of the residence. I really enjoy the quiet that enables me to function and think while I practice my artwork. My neighbors were quick to welcome me into my new home. The decor in my opinion is outstanding and I compared that with eight other places I toured. When I compared my living expenses at home versus the Windsor it was almost even which surprised me.

my husband resides at Prairie House for 7 1/2 years. The staff is absolutely wonderful! They are definitely very kind and caring. Also the happiest home health were great too. They really cared for my sweet husband. I was very pleased with the staff and management at Prairie Houses!

This community had the best apartments, dining options, cleanliness, staff and activities of any place we looked at. I would recommend it.

We picked this community, because it was not only cheaper but there was a lot of thought put into every detail (from paint color and lighting to order of activities to getting to know the residents). The other place we toured was institutional and the sales person couldn't tell us much about the memory care unit.

Living at Windsor Pointe is everything I expected and more. It is like living in a hotel with friends. Activities are many and varied, food is great and the atmosphere is friendly. I would recommend independent living here at Windsor Pointe.

My wife and I moved here from Florida to be close to our son, daughter and their families. In a very short time we felt it was home. We viewed several other facilities in the area and had choosen another one. Upon viewing it again we came back to Meadowview where the staff was very helpful in getting us settled in. It just feels like home.

Charter Senior Living of Gainesville has a great staff and a very caring, family atmosphere. The housekeeping is good, but I think they are overwhelmed at times. Communication with the family is great. They really go out of their way to keep you informed. The move-in was better than we ever expected. It was a good experience. My mom has commented that the meals are good, so that is a good sign. I would recommend Charter Senior Living of Gainesville. They take good care of their residents.

I am very happy with the HarborChase of Tallahassee community. We have been very happy still and based on the experience so far we would recommend this community to other families who are looking for a place for their loved ones.

What we like the most about The Stonehaven community is that every one is extremely nice and helpful. They are in excellent hands at Stonehaven. The memory center has changed my Mother-in-laws life. She is in the memory center and is flourishing.

It is a nice engaged community however you need to watch your bill and follow up on any requests for medical or home health because you may slip through the cracks. We picked this community because of the location, transportation availability, and the floor plan of resident room were the big things.

Everyone I worked at Legend at Hutchinson with was phenomenal. My mom has only been at Legend of Hutchinson less than 2 weeks and she is already improved from the last home she was in. The staff in the dementia unit are awesome. My mom has been in a home in Texas for 2 yrs. I want to visit her every 3mos. During the visits never once did I see a staff member interact with a resident or hear my mom speak. At Legend of Hutchinson the stuff interact constantly and my mom is talking in sentences, now.

What we like the most about the Legend at Mingo Road and what has made it such a great experience so far are definitely the employees working there!!! We would definitely recommend this community to other families who are looking for a place for their loved ones.

During my six-month residence at Asbury Village, I found unparalleled comfort in its regal charm, exceptional staff, and vibrant community. It became a haven of camaraderie and warmth, making my stay truly enriching

My mom has been in Transitional Memory Care since its inception, and I saw the Director's day-to-day hard work of setting up the program from scratch. Now, watching how all the residents are cared for, I appreciate all her and her staff's efforts. The staff is very responsive when I have a question or an issue pops up with my mom's care. The caretakers are dedicated, hard-working, and compassionate. I watch them use humor and empathy while assisting and caring for the residents. The caretakers answer my questions or make suggestions to assist me in caring for my mom. Their kitchen serves delicious meals, the staff encourages family to stay and participate in the social activities. They keep the residents moving and shaking, as their abilities allow. They have music, singing, and dancing too, which is my mom's favorite activity, along with daily Bingo (the residents are soooo competitive!). They regularly bring in entertainers and pets, etc. for social engagement.

Excellent care and family communication.There were others equally as interesting. Did our homework to find an acceptable place for my brother. Still as the saying goes, "there's no place like home", but that just wasn't in the cards.

My loved one is currently a resident at Sunrise of University Park and everything has been great for her at this facility! Communication with the family is excellent. The staff is great. The activities are great. The food is good. The care is good. We are really happy with Sunrise at University Park. I would absolutely recommend this facility to family and friends.
