During the pandemic, it has been hard to adjust to the changes. However, I would rather be here than anywhere else. The staff are friendly and respectful. I enjoy being back in the dining room. The one thing I would like to see you as more variety on the menu. Overall, I enjoy living here.

In general we have a positive opinion of The Commons At Union Ranch. My mom is nearly deaf and nearly blind so she is very difficult to communicate with. Staff needs to announce their arrival and be sure to get acknowledgement that she comprehends when they are trying to communicate.

My mother in law has been a resident of The Commons At Union Ranch since September of 2010. There have been many changes since she moved in most notably large staff turnovers. I am aware that this is an industry wide situation as my stepmother is also in an assisted living community. There have been many times where a situation arises that needs a response and I would say that prior to Maureen coming on board we might have struggled to get a resolution to the situation. I know things aren't perfect and that is understandable but Maureen and her current staff are very responsive in addressing any situation we have.

This community is very good. It especially deserves accolades on two major point. #1 the overall concern and care for the physical and emotional health of the residents. Staff at all levels are individually and personally interactive with residents. #2 keeping the physical facility a healthy and pleasant and cheerful environment for all those who can call this home.

I would definitely recommend the Charleston.

The people are what makes this place great. With as many caregivers as my dad had, most of them were truly caring and loving and gave dad 100% even in the hard times. The premise was okay seeing where this is being sent, I can see where a lot of our money went to, try getting less posh offices and paying the workers at the memory care more. They deserve it!

Very clean, stable, convenient place for my parents to live. Good food. Before Covid-19 -- great activities.

I have was in rehab facilities and this one is very impressive. Well maintained during the Covid-19 pandemic and staff is nice. It is a big facility.

Mostly good. Nice people. It's been harder since COVID-19.

They have a fine staff. They all try to make our lives go as much as normal as they can during the pandemic. I like the people here, they even put up with my continuous talking. P.S. still interested in 1 bedroom.

Will be glad when we can get back to the pre-virus days.

Doing well in difficult time.

I have been very satisfied with the care of this facility. It has been a lovely time of disturbing situations with caregivers and complete compliance with state guidelines. We have been in communication with letters and upcoming events but no visits.

We were thrilled that A Place for Mom helped us find this community. They have been very responsive working with us through any issues or concerns. We are very happy with choice we made. I chose this community because when we walked in to the community there was just a feeling we got and it felt right. My mom felt comfortable immediately and the staff were very nice ,very inviting, and they have just looked after her ever since. I would recommend this community to other families. The were nice and professional when it was time to transition to the memory unit and it has been seamless.

This is a lovely place, Largest space is a small 1 bdrm 500sq ft.

Savanna House is a very good place. The staff have always been friendly and courteous. My dad is always happy with his meals and the food there. I chose this community because they had availability, the location , and the good feeling we had when we toured the community.

It is very important to get an exact care plan and to make sure the plan is being followed. Room sizes and layout are nice compared to other options we saw for the same cost. Layout is functional. The food was great. Outdoor space was beautiful. Could use a better medication management system.

The staff at Kirkwood Orange is very friendly, however, the care can be a little lacking. With the exception of the director, the rest of the staff are wonderful to interact with. They seemed disorganized when my mother first moved into the community and we felt that whole process was a little messy. We were also told during the sales period that there would be a full time nurse and a 3:1 caregiver to resident ratio, however we do not feel this is true. With that said, most of the staff is very caring and when they are able, they make a clear attempt to cater to the needs of the individual residents. Our family feels that this community is a good value for the price. It does tend to be a little on the expensive side, however compared to other communities, we feel it is worth it. Kirkwood Orange puts on a lot of great activities for the residents. The community is also very clean and they do a good job of keeping everything very tidy. We don't feel the food is all that great, and it seems like there is a lot of room for improvement here. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they have done a good job with protecting the residents. The staff is very careful and haven't had any cases of the virus in the community.

The caregivers are very good and they really do care about the residents. They do not have a big staff turnover which is really helpful. It allows the residents and staff to form a relationship, which I really like. They have good communication. Before COVID, they had monthly family meetings at the community, but now they send texts and emails to keep families updated. I chose the community because of the small cottage setting. There are ten residents in each cottage which allows for more personalized care.
