In my experience, they did well with pretty much everything they did. He was just there for a short period of time, but the staff did well with him and we were pleased with the facility and the care there.

Charleston was overall a good experience. The facility is very clean. The staff there is friendly. I have no complaints about this facility. I am pleased with them.

My mother's biggest thing right now is that she is lonely there. She joined the bible study, but the people don't seem open to connecting on a friendship level. They see each other, but it's not like they visit each other.

The diet at Welbrook is rather repetitive. There is lots of chicken being served, but I guess that is good for the residents, I would just like to see a little more variety in the meals from day-to-day.

At Cottonwood Creek they really tried to accommodate dads needs. Dad wasn't super excited about being there and they really tried to work with them. Unfortunately dad wouldn't comply with them and now he is in a nursing home. Overall I was pleased with this facility.

Everything has been fine except for the administrative end of it. Seems like the long-term care I have been trying to get for my mom, the paper work is getting lost and I have had to come down a number of times to get it figured out, so that could use a upgrade.

I went here for a tour and this place was incredibly luxurious. It's definitely a higher-end version of senior housing, complete with valet parking, delicious food and even a full bar onsite. I was thoroughly impressed.

At Charleston they are overall excellent. The staff is a definite 5. They have been real good to work with. Overall I am very pleased with the facility.

It seems to be fine. The place itself is great and we are very happy with it. The staff is great, they seemed extremely helpful and very attentive, checking in on her. It's still new and takes a bit of getting used to, but I think it's working out well.

They need a little help in the kitchen, I don't know who decides the menu, but they don't seem to have any idea how we grew up and what we eat. It's a very nice place, it's been here a long time. The staff is pretty friendly. Other than the food they do a good job.

My wife, an Alzheimer's patient, and I both live here. She's in the memory unit. Shortly after we moved in, the director of the memory unit was fired and replaced by the director of activities of the memory unit. This is like taking an excellent teacher out of the classroom and making her a principal. Kym was an OUTSTANDING activities director: enthusiastic, out-going, dynamic, with great leadership qualities. In fact, she was one of the reasons we moved here! But now, she's in an office most of the time. And her replacement? The owner's daughter!!!!! This daughter has no personality, does not understand music, is constantly unprepared, does not have leadership qualities, and is just completely unprepared for the job. I'm not sure that she really understands dementia or Alzheimer's. I see her at work almost every day. I've talked to most of the staff managers, and even the co-owner himself, Nothing is going to be done. Hands are tied. The co-owner has made up his mind. That's it!

My mother has been at Welbrook for a month and so far everything has been fine. They were a little weak in the new resident orientation, I had to figure some things out for my mother, like how to get the tv hooked up and what the meal times are. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

My father was only in the Facility for a few days before he passed away, but in that brief time our family was so pleased with the care that was given to him and to our family. The staff and caregivers and administrators were very helpful and watchful and kind during what was a very difficult time for us.

So far it's going pretty good. Everybody that works there is really nice, she likes the people. The food has gotten better. It's not terrible, but there is still some room for improvement. There isn't a really good bible study, and a little more church involvement would be nice.

A wonderful place. Large rooms, activities for every level and friendly people. A good place to retire and enjoy the Woodinville area.

Tuscany is mis-categorized as Assisted Living; it is Independent Living with pay-as-you-go care services available. The property is well-located near shopping and restaurants and has scheduled transportation to many places. It is often difficult to schedule individual trips without significant advance notice, and waits for returns can be long. The units are attractive but at the high end of the cost scale with very little storage space. The complex was sold in 2014 to a Japanese investment firm and many changes are underway, not all to the liking of the residents. There has been a huge turnover in personnel. In addition, the trees that make the property so attractive have invasive roots so they are being cut down. Apparently there was a lot of deferred maintenance that the purchasers did not investigate so extensive costs are forthcoming for a new roof, plumbing repairs, painting, landscaping, etc. Multi-year leases with guaranteed limits on rent increases have been eliminated in favor of single year leases with yearly increases meaning rents will rise more rapidly than in the past. Many residents are in their 80's & 90's and use walkers. The company claims they are aiming for a more youthful market but haven't succeeded, and their advertising shows a daughter with her obviously elderly mother, not exactly what would attract younger, more active seniors. Most of the company's other properties are assisted living. The units range from studio to 2BR villas with a full DR and garage, by far the most spacious of any place we visited.

I enjoyed visiting, and having lunch, at Northgate Plaza Merrill Gardens. I really love the friendly staff, and the access to a park across the street. I will contact them when and if I sell my house. It is in a neighborhood which I could enjoy, walking distance to Northgate Shopping Mall.

I was able to spend some time at Tuscany at McCormick Ranch and was very impressed with the environment and staff were very professional and welcoming, I was able to dine in the beautiful dining room and have a fantastic meal. The finishes are thoughtful and ceilings are high. When can I move in? Thanks for having me!
